I yelped and followed the yellow brick road! I needed a Chiro that specializes in sports medicine. Training in MMA will give your body some unexpected surprises. I'm not exactly sure what I did to upset my back in last weeks training, but I've been resting the last 5 days. And I didn't even realize how great he adjusted my neck until I went to back my car out of the parking spot and when I looked over my shoulder my head turned so much farther than it normally does and with so much ease. I had sprained my ankle twice before I saw Dr. Cheung and due to my weak ankle it caused lower back problems to occur. This doctor knows what he's doing! I went to a Podiatrist and a Physical Therapist before seeing Dr. Cheung and to no avail would my ankle improve. Not only is Dr. Cheung a chiropractor but he is a sports medicine doctor too! Richard S Cheung is a caring chiropractor who is careful and thorough. I went to see him with a painful rotator cuff injury. Dr. Cheung provided pain relief, rehab advice, and taped me up really well with kinesio tape. After two months of treatment, I feel well enough to start shoulder rehab with a trainer. Went in to address chronic muscle aches in my upper back from job related stress and Richard did a wonderful job with the ever present crick in my neck. Update to my previous review. Went in for hip pain and pain on a previous splenectomy incision. Dr. Cheung and his staff thought it was scar tissue along the incision and tightness for the hip pain. Turns out that I had two hernias. One incisional and the other inguinal. Not once did dr. Cheung or his staff suggest an ultra sound to make sure this wasn't the case, or suggest another doctor for a hernia check. I gave him tell-tale signs. In fact they rubbed, extremely hard, my incisional hernia with what looks like a butter knife only exacerbating the problem. Ended up being a 5 hour surgery and the area was completely torn up around the incision. Easily looking at 6 month recovery. This is a common problem among men and as a sports medicine doctor you should know this. Beyond irresponsible. He may be good for some things, but beware. read more

I am an athlete who participates in different sports. I am also an avid Brazilian jiu jitsu practitioner. I've been going to her for about two years and you would think that by then someone would get too comfortable and not give you a proper consultation. Not her! It's like I'm meeting her for the first time every time, she's always on point!! She has such a caring touch and what's most important is that she adjusts me correctly. Dr. Cheung's Chiropractic Office is one of a kind. The staff is always cordial and professional. I started seeing Dr. Cheung about a year ago, and he has been amazing! He has been practicing for more than 10 years, and it shows. I am always taken care off while I am visiting for an adjustment or just a simple treatment. The staff also follows up if you haven't been in the office for a while, which is a nice compliment to remind you to get your butt in for some adjusting. Over all, Dr. Cheung and he's staff are flexible, and accommodating. Office environment is welcoming and calm. Unlike other Chiropractic offices, this office doesn't seem to be over booked.
