My first experience with Dr. Stewart was nothing less than fantastic & impressive. I went in with excruciating lower back pain that made it difficult to stand, walk or even sleep. My pain was a solid 9 out 10 and I was extremely reluctant to come to a chiropractor, given how enflamed my lower back was. I expected some mild therapy that would be very gentle. My session was certainly not mild or gentle, but absolutely unbeknownst to me, Dr. Stewart did exactly what my body needed and I left feeling significantly better. In the hours to follow, my pain had subsided quite a bit more and I am now confident that in a couple more days, I'll be back to normal with no lower back pain. I've had ongoing back issues since a weight-lifting injury in 2019 but this time when it came back, it stayed for an entire year. Prior to seeing Dr. Stewart I was in physical therapy for a year and I saw an acupuncturist. While these sessions made the pain subside for a few hours, I was beginning to doubt my ability to fully heal. Dr. Stewart made me believe that recovery was possible. After just one visit there was a noticeable difference (although I went for longer than that). Dr. Stewart listens to your concerns, observes your movement, and concocts the perfect plan to get you moving again in no time. What's more is that Dr. Stewart WANTS you to see longtime results: he doesn't want to see you every week if your body doesn't need it. After about a month of seeing Dr. Stewart (I think a total of six sessions), I'm back in the gym hitting PRs that I couldn't hit when I was in my peak shape. He takes his time making sure you understand exactly what he is doing and why, so I felt at ease during my second appointment. Dr. Stewart is a miracle worker! I have gone to him a few times now and I have already began to feel a million times better. I have sciatica and tendinitis which can flare up at any moment. I was referred to Dr. Stewart by a friend because of my problems and he has changed my life. As soon as I begin to feel a flare up, I visit the dr and I feel as good as new. He is super friendly and makes you feel extremely comfortable. But most of all he knows what he is doing and can help you feel better with just one visit. Dr. Stewart is a fantastic chiropractor. I've been to other doctors in the past who have tried to sell me on the snake oil of "I can fix any physical problem you are having." Dr. Stewart, on the other hand, effectively treats my musculoskeletal issues without overpromising or overselling. He is a genuine guy with great experience. He has helped me recover through Jiu Jitsu and weightlifting ailments so that I could promptly get back to training. I cannot recommend him enough if you are looking for a chiropractor who can help you with sports or overuse injuries without trying to sell you on the "I can fix your asthma because you have spinal subluxations" bs. Not only does Dr. Stewart uphold high standards of professionalism, he's very responsive, even on weekends. I've never been to a chiropractor before, but my desk job and long commute have totally ruined my posture and caused a lot of back, neck, and shoulder pain. Dr. Stewart walked me through everything he was doing and put me totally at ease during my entire visit, and even gave me some great exercises to do at home. The office was clean and inviting, and the staff were really nice. Filling out the forms through ZocDoc saved a lot of time, and unlike most other doctors I've seen, I didn't have to wait long at all after signing in. There's metered parking on Wilshire, but you'll get towed after 3pm. The neighborhoods on the side streets also have 2 hour parking until 6pm, and there are a few meters as well. In 30 minutes, Dr. Stewart had me feeling better than any overpriced massage ever has. Everything about my experience with Dr. Stewart's office was fantastic. read more

This is the only chiropractor who will actually spend the time to treat the problem, stretch you, and show you what you can do on your own to avoid future pain. This is not an office where you wait a half hour to have a heat pad put on by a nurse, have your back cracked in 8 minutes, then be sent out the door. Dr. Stewart is a great chiropractor! He has treated me for shoulder and ankle injuries. I sprained my ankle and for weeks on end it just did not seem to be healing 100%. Dr. Stewart worked on it and the pain and swelling instantly cleared up. Plus, I did not have to wait long for my appointment. He is very kind, thoughtful, and fun to talk with. Dr Stewart is actually a really good chiropractor but unfortunately his wife handles all of his admin and she is as rude as they come. Not sure where she gets off talking to patients the way she does but its completely unprofessional. Dealing with this pathetic individual is not worth the time. I read the reviews on yelp and spoke to the Dr Stewart and felt optimistic about getting adjusted. This was my first chiropractic adjustment in 35 years for a first appointment I felt as if it was rushed. I was 25 minutes early for my appointment because I expected to spend some time filling out forms, however the appointment before me was running late and so I was seen right away. He ask me what was wrong and then proceeded to test my leg flexibility. He said my hip flexors were very tight. He spent a lot of time stretching the muscles in my legs. He decided that he was not going to adjust my lower back or hips where I felt I needed the most adjustment but he didn't explain why. I assume it was due to my inflexibility but he said he would adjust my neck and upper back. He didn't do any type of test or examine my vertebra before adjusting. He adjusted two places in my upper back by having me lay back on his fist and then adjusted my neck. He did not check my vertebra after the adjustments. I expected that it would take up to seven days for my back to feel normal again however the pain in my upper vertebra especially between my shoulder blades are worse than it was before the adjustment. I admit that I am in poor physical shape which is partly due to by lower back sciatica and i was hoping for some pain relief to make exercising easier on my sciatica but instead now have pain in both my sciatica and upper thoracic. He did recommend regular stretching to easy the sciatic pain. He did not tell me to set up a followup appointment. Dr Stewart is a nice guy so i regret to say that I can't recommend Dr Stewart if you have serious problems. read more

One word will describe my experience with Dr. Stewart, AMAZING. I pulled a muscle in my lower back while doing squats. I went to a local urgent care and the physician looked at my back and wrote me prescriptions to mask the pain and said to wait it out for a couple of weeks as it heals. This was not what I was looking for. This was a Friday afternoon and I did some research and Dr. Stewart's name came up. I called the number given at about 6 pm and to my surprise the Dr. answered. I explained my problem and told him of my pain level. I made the one hour drive to Beverly Hills to meet with him and was seen immediately. The good doctor was very thorough in his assessment. He spent over an hour treating me. He then gave me instructions to follow at home. It now is the day after my visit and I have zero pain, simply amazing. If I had settled for the MD's plan of care (if that is what you want to call it), I would still have pain for another week or two and be drugged up. Thank you Dr. Stewart you are AMAZING. read more
