Doctor Brown, my hygienist, Amy, and the entire staff are warm, welcoming, and helpful. Amy is one of my all-time favorite hygienists. Look no further, Dr. Brown and his staff are THE BEST!! We are fairly new to Palm Desert so it was a daunting task to find a fabulous Dentist that we could also trust so my husband and I had some dental work by a couple of different dentists who we didn't care for AND THEN WE FOUND DR. BROWN!! Dr Brown is wonderful, very knowledgeable, honest, gentle is his staff. Heidi, the receptionist is so kind and proficient, Brandi who is his assistant is "over the moon" FABULOUS!!... I went to Dr. Brown because my dentist had left the area. His Yelp reviews were outstanding and I'm here to say they are warranted! His office staff, are professional, yet fun. And Dr. Brown was so conservative and conscientious with his recommendations. He explained things very well and gave me options. I have pretty bad dentist anxiety. And I did take " something" to knock down my anxiety. But I don't think I will need it again. There was no pain. Even though, I had three crowns replaced, it wasn't awful and the price was very reasonable. I am giving him a fully deserved five stars and will recommend him to my friends. read more

I had a dental "emergency" on a Saturday in March and was referred to Dr Brown by a friend. He met me at his office which was closed and examined me. He ended up doing a root canal and actually did the procedure with no assistance (remember, the office was closed). He was very patient and took a great deal of time to explain my options as my situation was a little complex. He didn't try to up-sell me in any way. Unlike other dentists, I never felt like he was trying to get enough money out of me to make his next airplane payment. Super nice and very honest! I was not a patient of his and when the work was complete I asked if I could pay him. He said to call the office next week when they were open and they would help me. He didn't have any of my contact information. It was so refreshing to work with somebody who trusted me and put my dental needs ahead of his free time. My wife and I are from out of state (snowbirds) but we're switching our dental care to his office. HIGHLY recommended! read more

I don't write reviews. Well, almost never. Except I will make an exception this time. Dr. Richard Brown is as good as they get. My family is so lucky we found him and his incredible staff. He is without a doubt the most professional, most ethical doctor I have ever dealt with. Kind, compassionate...fill in the blank. Everyone in his office are the best. Dr. Brown is conservative when it comes to our health care -- he would never, ever recommend a procedure unless he was sure it was necessary. His integrity is beyond reproach. And his staff is the same -- awesome, friendly, and ethical beyond belief. If I could give his practice 10 stars on Yelp, I would. Five stars don't do them justice.
