I am glad others had a good experience with this practice. I too thought I was going to have one. I arrived, they saw me on time. Dr. Baumann was very professional and concurred with my primary dentist. When I was done, this is where the wheels came off my experience. I went up to the counter and gave them my insurance card. The person at the desk said, oh we don't take insurance your bill is 375.00 and you have to pay now. I was shocked, that had never happened to me. She did say, we will send the information to your insurance and hopefully they will send you a check. This policy should have been told upfront. I did not return to my next appointment because they wanted 900.00 for the next portion. read more

What I really like is you don't have to wait at all... there's no waiting as soon as you walk in to the office, they'll check your temperature and walk you through a different location and check your vital signs, then take you to the chair where you're going to be assigned and do the work there. Also everything is done in the office. I had my teeth done in January and they did every single cap of my teeth in the office..so there's no temporary teeth that you have to wear when you leave the office. I have not been to a Dentist in about 6 years and I was very skeptical about my visit to this new Dentist. I explained to Dr. Nick Baumann that I in fact hate Dentists and that even teeth cleaning is just something I can't stand. Dr. Baumann listened to me and explained that teeth cleaning was done quite differently now and that he assured me it was not painful and I would not be scraped with archaic tools, just the power of water. Every step of the way the Hygienist was kind, calming and very good at her job. It was not painful at all and I will go to get my teeth cleaned every 4 months from now on. This is the best Dentist I have been to in my life and I am no longer afraid. I have just 1 more visit tomorrow to take care of the only 2 issues I have (Yea). read more

OMG - Do NOT go to this pompous arse of a "dentist". I desperately needed some crown work done. This guy was close so I made an appt. He first met with me in his fancy office and gave me a very subtle sell to get some cosmetic dentistry done as well. Not too much pressure in the beginning. I needed 7-8 crowns replaced which cost me well over $10,000 (since my insurance only paid $1000). On each visit, he would pressure me a little more to get veneers for my teeth. I kept telling him that it cost me so much for "crowns"(which I later learned were not even crowns but cheap ass inlays) that there was no way I could afford cosmetic dentistry at this time. He went so far as to take a molding for the veneers despite what I kept telling him. Fast forward 5 months. I moved to another state and, over the course of 3 weeks, FIVE of my 8 inlays came out. I, of course, followed up with a dentist in my town who placed actually CROWNS (which, with my new insurance, still cost me $2500). This dentist told me that he refused to put in these "3-D copier" inlays because people have had so many problems with them. Now I am fighting to at least recoup the cost of my deductible from this quack. If I am not successful, I am going to the California Board of Dentistry. I should have listened to my gut the first day when I pulled into the parking lot and saw his $150,000 Lamborghini parked right in front of the office. Guess who's paying for that - all his patients. read more

Dentist was very nice && explained quite well. He saw my mother and treated her kindly. She is very much older and gets confused easy and Doctor Bruce was very kind to her and patient unlike the last dentist we saw. My teeth were in terrible condition. I had lost an (upper) 3 tooth bridge and also a 4 tooth bridge. I was left with two choices, false teeth or implants. I would not consider false teeth. Dr Bruce Baumann recommended implants after extensive testing. After many delays I finally had the few upper teeth left, removed, 4 implant posts installed, and temporary teeth installed. Normally, Dr Bruce likes 6 posts but because of the bone loss, etc., two more could not be placed. As an older woman and a big time coward, I was unreasonably frightened, and that contributed to the delays. Dr Bruce had an Oral Surgeon from Long Beach come in because of the extensive work that needed to be done. Finally, Jan. 23 I walked in to cheers from the office staff and hugs from Dr Tim Silegy and Dr Bruce Baumann . I sorta calmed down and went to the CHAIR!!! Dr Silegy administered some sort of sedation via an IV to relax me and started the lengthy procedure. Whatever he administered worked. I was calm and totally relaxed, if not asleep. The temporary teeth were attached to the posts by Dr Bruce Baumann. WOW, for the first time in many (8 or more) years, I had beautiful teeth. I felt no pain at all during the extensive work and so far have not felt any to this date. Words can not describe how grateful I am for these two doctors and what they have done. The office staff Lupe and Jessica were wonderful and the gal that sort of looked out for me Kari was so kind. I can't remember the name of the woman that assisted Dr Bruce but she was also very kind. I had a contract for $10,000.00 that soon became $17,000.00 because he had to redo poor work.I still have substandard work in my mouth and now am in the process of having some more restoration.done by another dentist. I had $2,000.00 of insurance done but what was paid was in addition to the 17K. The work was scheduled to be completed in 2-3 weeks but took more than 8 months. In the process I lost more teeth. I would never recommend him to anyone. read more

I found these Dr's earlier this year. They are professional, yes. Great staff, yes. But dealing with dentists is not always a fun time. I received a pre-appointment interview to discuss prices and procedures. I picked my plan. And these guys are fast! They build their own crowns while you wait. No temporary, no return visit. The visit I had today was a last minute issue. They got me right in. I thought I'd get an evaluation, but they looked, gave me my options, did the work, and I was out in less time than I would normally wait in any other dentist office. Amazing...really. read more

Terrible experience! Bruce Baumenn was so rough, rude, and insensitive to my discomfort - to the point of demeaning me for expressing my pain. I had over $30,000 worth of work done, and it was a nightmare almost the whole way. I would have stopped the process, but once it all started I felt I had to see it through.. First, let my say that I am not a complainer. I just don't go back, but this experience has been with me for a few years. I only hope he has seen the light and changed his methods. Because of an upcoming open-heart surgery, I was advised to have my teeth cleaned and checked out for any infections. (Infections can affect heart issues.). Anyway, the hygienist was very professional, xRays were taken and then things began to go downhill. They then took photos of my bite which I was automatically billed for. Why would they do that? In my vulnerable state, I was then given a hard-sell concerning alterering my teeth for an astronomical fee. I was not there for cosmetic work! I discovered the dentist had just been to a seminar in Las Vegas in how they can increase profits for their business. I was ushered into a room for a one-on-one with extensive explanation on what he could do for me. Good-bye! I felt like i was at a used car dealer. As i recall, the price he quoted for all this work, I had no interest in pursuing and did not request, was in the range of $15 to 20k. I will add that I had braces in high school and my teeth were quite fine, thank you! read more
