I found Dr Sunita office on Yelp and there was only one 4-star review. Obviously, I was skeptical at first. After further research, I found out that this office offers the most affordable price compared to all other offices in the area. Most offices charge upwards of $250 ...ouch. I was completely clueless what I needed (i.e immunization records or any forms) so I stopped by their office, to gather some information. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They informed me the exact immunization that I needed so I don't have to spend money on all the "unnecessary" ones. Their office is so close to the Orange County Immunization and Vaccination Center, so just in case you couldn't afford the expensive immunization, you can get some here at the affordable prices as well. Once I get all the information, I returned on next Friday. Apparently, Friday is their walk-in day? I was afraid of walk-in because you don't know how long you have to wait, but I was seen pretty quickly, maybe about 15 mins wait time. I have most of the immunization records so the only thing they needed to do is draw some blood for STD screening and Varicella and urine sample. Dr Sunita later performed the medical examination on me. The complete process probably took about 30 mins at most. By next Monday, they called me to let me know the sealed envelope with the completed form and my copy are ready to be picked up. Overall, the whole process cannot be any smoother. I highly recommend this office for those who are looking for a civil surgeon. I am extremely grateful that I found this office. My tips: If you have any questions, just call or come see them. There was little to no physical examination, and the entire appointment felt rushed. I left wondering if I had even seen a doctor. When I tried to discuss my health concerns, I was told more than once that I should find a new doctor. Instead of listening and addressing my questions, I felt dismissed. I also got the impression that I wasn't welcome as a patient. The appointments seem to be focused on getting patients in and out as quickly as possible rather than providing personalized care. It was one of the fastest doctor's appointments I've ever had, and I left feeling like my concerns didn't matter. I expect a primary care physician to take the time to perform a proper physical, answer questions, and make patients feel heard. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Dr. Tran, and I will be finding a new doctor as he seems only to help older patients and I was told the area is mostly Asian from the front desk person and felt like since I'm not Asian I was not welcome.
