    Strawberry Lemonade slush
    Winnie Z.

It's such a cute place! Most days, we order for pick up or delivery, but one summer day, we walked over with our toddler and enjoyed some sweet treats at their little outdoor seating area. There's always a constant flow of people, and service is quick. My go-to flavor for slush is lemon, but recently, my favorite is cherry and watermelon. Strawberry lemonade is also a family favorite. For ice cream, I love black raspberry paired with Death by Chocolate. Oreo and strawberry are also excellent choices. They have a seasonal ice cream in apple crisp that I tried last week, which was so delicious! Very decadent, so I could only have a few bites.

All those corner stores in Boston carrying Richie's Super Supreme Italian Ice? This retro storefront, located inches right off the Parkway freeway traffic, is the original homebase of the ubiquitous Boston ice cream buckets found in our little delis and shops. Indoor seating - non-existent. There's a equally bright and bold artificial grass field and patio seating next to the store front. Simply order from the window and sit to enjoy the flowing traffic and classic Italian-Latin-American cuisine? The menu is truly a symbol of American experience: comfort late-night diner food with the main focus supposedly the sweet Italian slush. However, 2 of the 3 neon menu boards are dominated by their other attractive offerings special ice cream sundaes, heart clogging savory smash burgers, and the flaky pastelitos (Cuban turnovers). Tough choices to debate - fried churros sundae and beef pastelito won out. Pastleito - piping hot, flaky, and savory. Mama got it right - definitely worth getting. Sundae - solid ice cream, great churros. Well worth the price. Stop by if you're in the area (near Costco - another dear favorite). Won't disappoint.

Amazing slush, the og is super family friendly and great. Aesthetic rocks and feels genuine.

    Mangonada Slush

Let's just say that the only reason it's not a 5 star ... YET is because this was my first time here and I only tried to Mangonada . I would give it a 9 out of 10. Not a full 10 only because once it started melting and turned into all liquid it was really good (for me). It may be different for you though. I also thought they only had regular slush options with just a bit more than my corner store . Boy was a fooled lol . They offer food and a wide variety of slushes. From original corner flavors to cool tasty ones like the one I got !! I'm going back too and I'm getting food and the sour slush next time lol . Oh and you can get it delivered by one of those food apps ! Seating is outside. They also have limited parking . Must try with family, yourself, friends, or date . Expect a line and it's worth the wait .

I didn't get the appeal of the Richis' slush from the grocery store - who wants rock hard packed flavored ice? This is a whole other animal. Creamy, smooth ices with flavors to make anyone happy - old favorites like lemon and cherry, and new delicacies like coconut, peach, and sour rainbow. A small is a delightful amount - a large can feed a family. The only downside is location - this is in kind of a crappy neighborhood on the side of a busy road. Do like me and order and then eat in your car (or drive to a nearby park)!

Rainbow USA, is literally the most amazing slush... but then you try Richie's fire (fireball) and it's heaven! Or you try Peach or Pear and it's like you're lost in an orchard somewhere. My family comes here many times over the year to buy our 2.5 gallons of slush that last us a few months of indulgence. We love Richies and always bring family here from out of state. It's like no other slush you've ever had.

I have been going to Richies as long as I have been alive... I dont know where or how to start writing this review... It is everything I have ever known, I compare all slush or the like TO richies... There is nothing better. EVERY flavor you can think of & then some... Ice Cream as well.. The only downside is as long as I can remember ever girl that has ever worked there has way too much attitude... Thats the been the case since I was little, through school, young adult.. I dont get it, Im from Everett too, Often its just girls from the area but why such attitude?!?! But that wont stop me from going, again & again... Now my kids love it too... Prices are still super affordable & not crazy like other big time places have seem to have gone...

They were completely booked in the restaurant for the evening, so I definitely recommend making a reservation if you want to dine there. We had a few Sarti Spritzes, a Caesar salad, and the cavatelli. Everything was delicious!! They were also so nice and split the pasta for us without us even asking since they knew we were sharing. Classics but with an Italian flare, likes eggs Benedict with prosciutto instead of Canadian bacon. I had avocado toast with poached eggs...but they called it Avocado Bruschetta. One egg was perfect...runny yolk, and one was overcooked...jammy yolk, but it was still delicious! We tried the prosciutto and peaches with arugula starter. It was fantastic! I've heard of prosciutto and melon, but had not tried peaches with prosciutto until now. It is a great combination! My daughter had the bolognese which was served on house made papardelle noodles. The noodles were very wide and quite thick which gave them a wonderful chewy texture. They were perfect for the chunky sauce. She loved it! The service was a little slow...we had to wait a while to place our order, and we waited a while for the check. But the service was very friendly and I loved that every server had an Italian accent. Warning about sitting outside on a hot day...the umbrellas don't tilt, Some seats are in sun, some in shade, and if you're in the sun, you're going to be hot. Bring a hat!

When I had the chance to bring a colleague at the end of the trip, he ordered the same dish and loved it. This is not a fancy place and it isn't trying to be. It's seriously good Italian seafood with epic portions. Go easy on the bread they bring with olive oil and spices because the plates are huge. I can rarely finish a full meal after an appetizer, so I usually just order the main. I'm excited they now have a location in Pasadena, California, which is convenient for my work travel. I can't wait to try it. PRO-TIP: there are a couple other locations nearby. Same good cooking. If you don't want to specifically eat in the original location, then it may be faster to pivot to Daily Catch Takeout Window at 331 Hanover Street, two doors from the original or the full service Waterfront site at 65 Atlantic Avenue which is an 8 to 12 minute walk from the original location through the North End streets.

Lobster was done perfectly and the slightly spicy sauce of the pasta paired beautifully. My favorite was actually the marsala.
