I am a little generous about the rating here because I really like the taste of the dishes we ordered. However, several dishes we had were overcooked. We selected polpette (excellent), grilled octopus (part of it was burned), linguini alla vongole (very good but clams were a little overcooked), and seafood risotto (everything is perfect except lobster tail was completely overcooked). We enjoyed our time at Euno! It was very cute, and we got sat downstairs amongst the brick and fireplaces. Cozy!! The food was also yummy, bolognese, the fig ravioli, and sea food dishes were all a hit. They brought us two different breads and idk what the onw flat bread type was but I could have eaten a whole loaf. We came with some friends while we were visiting Boston and had a lovely time. The staff were very attentive. We sat in the bottom of the restaurant, which I think was like a wine cellar. I had a pasta special - the noodles had squid ink in them. It was delicious - some of the best Italian food I have ever had. And large portions. I needed to get some Italian while visiting Boston and Ristorante Euno was recommended online so I swung in! It's a smaller space with more seating in the basement. I was able to grab a table for one and be seated right away on a Friday night with no reservation, but if you have a larger party I would reserve a spot. I ordered the Caesar and the bolognese which is apparently award winning! The Caesar wasn't anything special and was probably a bit too expensive for what you got (~$17). The bolognese is made with osso bucco as opposed to ground meat and it was very delicious! Generous portion too. The ambiance was stuck between classic Italian restaurant and wine mom with lots of wooden signs with sayings, which was a little odd. I also misunderstood the server, ordered still water instead of tap and paid $7 for a bottle of water which was frustrating but my fault! Food and ambiance was 5 stars, service was 1 star. If you do not order drinks, do NOT go here. The server and owner did not talk to us, and pouted as soon as we said we weren't drinking. They also kept us waiting longer, and "forgot" when we asked them to box our dessert. It was very uncomfortable. We normally over tip, and we still ordered an app and dessert to make up for it. We gave a 35% tip because the food was excellent, however, they basically had a server stand there when we were waiting 5 minutes for our boxed dessert which never came, and the owner purposely turned away from us when we were leaving. Coming from a frequent North End visitor... I have never experience any live music while dining which was a great surprise! HOWEVER it was 1 maybe 2 songs then they would go to every table and shove an iPad in your face, while eating or mid conversation, and ask for money or an instagram follow. Completely disruptive to their "most romantic" dining experience. I ordered a lobster ravioli with a 1/2 pound lobster from their specials. It was then told to me they didn't have lobster and it would be replaced with scallops. It came out with 3 quarter sized scallops and shrimp that was so overcooked I needed water to wash down each bite. Despite those comments, very accommodating and polite staff. read more

The inside was super cost, we were the first ones in and pretty much showed up right when it opened so we were greeted immediately and were tended to quite nicely. Fun and delicious. No wait for our table. We ordered wine, delicious red wines. We ordered meatball appetizer, just ok, but the bread was terrific. I could not decide which pasta to try, so the waiter brought me half orders of two different ones. So nice and accommodating. Home made pastas were excellent. My friend got the special, pounded thin chicken with cheese and prosciutto baked, it was awesome. Overall the food was delicious, appetizer was good but the mains were excellent. We stumbled on this little place as we were walking on the North End trying to decide where to eat. It was "Molto Buono" like being in Italy. The food was amazing, the service top notch. Great ambiance. I did not want the meal to end. The kids enjoyed it so much. Didn't get a chance to photograph the Buffalo mozzarella because the kids ate it before I could picture it. We've been here twice, and as people living in the North End and just a 10-minute walk away, we will definitely be back! It's August 2023, but this restaurant has been on my list of places to visit since September 2022 when my mom suggested we go here for my birthday. Unfortunately, she fell ill, which inevitably postponed our family visit. I was fortunate this year to dine here once in July and once (so far) in August; both times, I've loved my experience. This is a very cute spot tucked away on the slightly less busy (compared to Hanover) Salem Street. It is a small place with tables placed pretty close together, but it still feels intimate rather than overcrowded. The lighting is not too harsh, and when the weather is nice, they open the front windows for a nice breeze. On both visits, our waiter Richard was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu, and he recited the nightly specials with palpable care and intentionality. He is both the specials menu and the dessert menu for anyone wondering. Additionally, on our first visit, a different man briefly helped us select our drinks (moscato d'asti), and later in the evening, he even offered to show us the exact bottle and explained how to identify it in stores for future purchase, which was very kind of him. On our first visit in July, my boyfriend and I started with the polpette, a nightly special. It consisted of 2 deliciously warm meatballs in a bath of tomato sauce with fresh Parmesan cheese and basil over top. We savored them with restaurant-provided freshly baked bread, and it was the perfect beginning to a great meal. For entrees, I ordered the pappardelle alla bolognese, and my boyfriend ordered the gnocchi con funghi. I am a red sauce girl, and he is a white sauce guy, and we were both incredibly satisfied with our dishes. I also really enjoyed that they offered freshly grated Parmesan from a comically large bowl and freshly cracked black pepper from a comically long grinder; both were nice added extra touches. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu, and it was the perfect end to a lovely night out. On our second visit in August, we brought friends, and the food, service, and ambiance continued to be top notch. I've (unfortunately!) never been to Italy, but dining in Euno last weekend we felt as though we were transported there. Euno is one of those restaurants where although you haven't yet finished your meal you're already dreaming about returning. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and I'll cut to the chase here as this review is detailed -- my wife, my two sons, and I all agreed that this was one of the BEST meals we've ever had in the North End...and one of the best meals we've ever had. Period! First the atmosphere: one cold winter night, Euno was warm and cozy and we imagined ourselves in a small cozy trattoria in Tuscany. We had a reservation and walked in to be greeted by Robert, the owner. We waited for 5 minutes (some of us inside and some outside, as the restaurant is tiny) and were seated. Our table was adjacent to the curtained front entrance and, although we occasionally felt some cold blasts, we found this table cozy and strangely "private." Next the service: our waiter (and the restaurant's General Manager), Richard, was fantastic! He is a professional! We found him friendly, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He gave a master class in presentation of the specials (every server should take a class with him!) The bus boys also were very attentive and efficient. Wine: we selected a bottle of Chianti from the wine list (which is surprisingly reasonable priced) and Richard offered a similar riserva varietal at the same price (a 2018 Castello Di Gabbiano Riserva.) We very much enjoyed this! The food: Wow! Wow! Just wow! The food knocked our socks off (with one exception - the calamari.) We began with the Fried Calamari which was served over some greens and onions and accompanied by marinara for dipping. We found the calamari too lightly fried and pale (we thought perhaps to keep from getting rubbery?) and lacking in seasoning, and we found the marinara very ordinary. But onward as everything else was truly spectacular. My wife and I shared a Caesar Salad which was beautifully presented (split) and easily one the best Caesars we've had. It was fresh and the dressing was appropriately salty and creamy. My boys ordered the Sausage Special (two large pan roasted sausages over a red pepper sauce.) They raved about this dish! For entrees -- which all were quite generously portioned -- we ordered two Fettuccine Specials (fettuccine pasta with lobster an rock shrimp), an Osso Bucco Bolognese, and Pappardelle Con Funghi (I asked to replace the Gnocchi with Pappardelle.) My wife and son loved the fettuccine which was not too heavy and had good amounts of lobster and shrimp. My other son praised the Bolognese as the best he's ever had. It was rich and meaty; a hearty meal for a wintry night. The Pappardelle Con Funghi was outstanding. It was hearty, rich, and filling with copious amounts of mushrooms and wide, homemade pasta in a rich, delicious Gorgonzola sauce. I could not eat this fast enough and had to force myself to slow down. :-) The pasta is all homemade (as one would expect) and the portions are generous (we should have taken several of our entrees home, but they were so good we could not stop eating!) Knowing we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant sent over a dessert plate consisting of Flaming Creme Brulee and Tiramisu. Both were outstanding and delicious. We had never seen Creme Brulee flambeed before. It was quite unique and made for a striking presentation. Richard also sent over a round of Limoncello shots to toast the birthday girl -- a very kind gesture! Before we even left the restaurant we all agreed that this was one of the finest meals and dining experiences that we'd had and we planned to return soon. We will, indeed, be back and highly recommend Euno for a date night or special occasion, entertaining guests from out-of-town, or any night you want a truly memorable meal. Best Italian food we have ever had in the states, by far. Our waiter took us through the entire menu and helped us to narrow our selections down and then select a perfect meal end to end. We shared that we wanted to try their house specials as well as anything we likely couldn't get elsewhere. The Goat Cheese Stuffed Artichoke was AMAZING- and the Osso Bucco Di Vitello was our favorite pasta. For desert we ordered Canoli and Lemon Sorbet, and the lemon sorbet was the best after a heavy meal! We cannot recommend this restaurant more. We sat in the basement which is definitely the way to go. It feels like a wine cellar down there and I would prefer it over the main level which is but tight on space. The food is a little overpriced but tasty nonetheless. They have many specials in addition their small menu like the pictured clams casino and Chilean sea bass entree. The gnocchi was very very rich and high in truffle flavor. The service is great and he was attentive. Another reason for the 4 stars is because at the end of the meal, a man came down and was singing Italian opera very loudly. One of the best restaurants in the North End. Generous portions of delicious pasta made with the freshest ingredients you can get. The chicken Parmesan (quattro formaggio) and Bolognese are home runs. Both are massive portions, and the bolognese in particular is unlike the bolognese anywhere else in the North End. The interior is absolutely gorgeous - the red brick walls and beautiful window that borders Salem Street lend to an atmosphere that is romantic and serene. I have a love hate relationship with the North End, which mostly consists of me loving all of the small mom and shop restaurants with delicious Italian food, but hating the long waits and failed attempts to eat at said restaurants. Anyways, enter Ristorante Euno, a cute North End spot that that takes reservations. Decided to check it out with a couple friends a while back and had a great time! We started with the Caprese Homemade and Carciofo Euno. The Caprese was yummy, though it's pretty much good everywhere. The grilled artichoke was surprisingly delicious, especially with the generous amount of goat cheese! And I certainly can't complain about how large they were and how tasty well they went with the prosciutto. Yum!!! I then had the pasta special of the night, a Seafood Squid Ink Pasta. It was really good! Generous amounts of seafood and well-cooked pasta. My only complaint was that it was a tad oily, but that didn't stop me from gobbling it down for dinner, and for lunch the next day. Service was warm and friendly. There's a more romantic feel at Euno than at other North End places, probably a combination of the dim lighting, exposed brick, and lack of people shouting. Will definitely come back to Euno when I want a nicer meal in the North End, or when I want to avoid those long lines that make me so grumpy! read more

Overall: 100% go to this restaurant. It instantly become one of my favorites in the Northend it hits every mark perfectly! We came for our 1 year anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect. Food: Trust me. You need to get the Linguini alla Vongole. I have never had such a well balance dish that had the juiciest little neck clams I've ever eaten. The sauce just complimented the seafood perfectly and I'm just itching to go back to just eat this dish again. They have seasonal items like the Buffalo mozzarella, which is so good! All the other dishes were amazing too, but man oh man that Linguini alla Vongole! Since we came for a celebration, they provided us with free dessert (aka. Their Tiramisu is AMAZING) Ambiance: There's a street level seating area and a lower lever. We sat at the street level which was nice and intimate. Volume is great for conversation and the lighting is on the dimmer side. I love that they have thick curtains around the entrance of the restaurant so that wind doesn't blow onto the customers around the area. Service: Amazing service! Super friendly and very attentive. No complaints and very well staffed in my opinion! When you come in, there isn't really a "front desk" to check in by the door. So, just find any worker and let them know! read more
