I had a cough for two weeks and had chest x-rays taken and was offered a steroid injection to calm the inflammation plus meds to help get me cleared up. Nurses and x-ray tech were all so courteous. It was easy to schedule an appointment online, and my wait was no longer than 10 minutes. Once inside, I did have to wait a bit to be seen and to have x-rays taken, but that's to be expected with multiple patients waiting to be seen. I've been to a few urgent cares in this area, and I think this one's the best--especially if Sarah is working!

The facility was very clean and modern, no more filling out paperwork using a pen and clipboard, everything was done by QR code on my phone. Now, I read a previous customer Yelp review and I frowned upon the fact that the mother said her toddler hit his head and put a hole in the sheet rock and the Dr. at AFC didn't refer him immediately the ER for an MRI. He just kissed the boo boo and sent him home ( there I go with the jokes again hahaha) That's not my business and HAS to be more to the story, HAS to be. My visit was quick, wham, bam, thank you ma'am for coming in and several smiling faces I was outta there. Everyone looked professionally busy even though not much going on. Would I return? The front desk personnel (whom signed me in) also administered my B12 shot (no problem). She did not wash her hands before and after the B12 shot (from front desk to needle). However before the shot she did place gloves over both hands. No alcohol wipe on skin before insertion of needle. After needle removal, an apparent bubble of blood in shoulder area remained. No assistance with that at all. She just turn around and fill out paperwork (used gloves still on). I had to request bandaids to be placed over shot or something to wipe blood off. No attempt to assist in blood removal. She began looking and inquiring about bandaides. She left the room looking for bandaides - (still wearing used patience gloves). In her absence, I noticed a box Kleenex in the room so I removed several sheets and wiped the standing bubble blood from my shoulder. She returned with a bandaid (used gloves still on). Remove 1 glove from hand and placed the bandaide on my shoulder. This is not over. When placing the bandaide, she placed it over dry skin, not where the needle was inserted to prevent blood leak. ( It alarmed because - Normally there is no blood leak of this amount from any B12 shot I have ever taken). Needless to say: Sterilness, quality coustomer care, well being and , patient concern of medical hygiene was not on the agenda today. I hope they figure this out! And by the way - you guys can clean it up in there a little bit please. Wipe down the lobby and patience rooms.... Geesch!!! Give it a 2 rating because the lady was fairly pleasant.

And more treatments are recommended to me than necessary including lots of optional pill work, which to me is a last option. Also the nurses always seem tired and unpleasant. I wait 40 minutes! for doctor to step into my consulting room. 10-20 before and 40 for him just to come in to talk to me. At that point, I'm just ready to get my consultation over with. The last annoyance was when I sprained my foot and wanted to get it check out by family doctor. I was told that "we don't do that". Ok, no problem! There's a next level urgent care across the street and they charge similar prices and have great staff there.

I was referred to Dr. Indira Reyes-Contin after going to the ER watch center. The watch center was…read morenot at this facility but another hospital. She was very friendly and kind but there was one MAJOR issue that resulted in me feeling WORSE than when I started. If you're someone that's struggling with mental health you MUST read this. Or actually, JUST IN GENERAL. She asked a few basic questions and then some more detailed ones. I told her that my outside psychiatrist told me there's a possibility I have bipolar disorder. Dr. Reyes dismissed that possibility and explained that my symptoms weren't of bipolar disorder just MDD (major depressive disorder) and that it was "normal" to have these mood swings in depression. She prescribed me antidepressants (you don't EVERY give A-D to a person with BP). Started off with 5mg and told me that I'd feel su!cidal the first 5 days but it was a side affect of the medication (first off who even prescribes that?) Well that was not how I felt and I started feeling high the 3rd day. After 5 days I'd then take 10mg on the 6th day. I went through my first manic episode and it was HORRID. That medication worked INSTANTLY and I had immediate aggressive mood swings FAR from this "normal" she said. I made an emergency virtual session that same day this happened with Dr. Reyes and you'd think she would be worried but guess what, she was ignorant and told me to KEEP TAKING IT. "Your body has to get used to it for it to work," she said. What kind of doctor says?? I told her I had all of these symptoms and she STILL dismissed it as a part of the medication. Me and my dad were persistent that this wasn't my normal behavior and that I had gone from feeling grandiose to the next SECOND having an aggressive break down. The session was said to be 30min but it didn't even last 10min. Scammer. My manic episode lasted for TWO WEEKS and she wanted me to take it??? I would've died or kms if I did. I even started having psychological withdrawal symptoms but thankfully my mom flushed these meds down. I went from having to be in IOP to PHP thanks to her. Dr. Reyes should have serious consciences for her actions. I wouldn't recommend this "doctor" whatsoever or else she'll dismiss and belittle your situation. Just because you don't have all the symptoms of something doesn't mean it's NOT a possibility. In summary she's absolutely careless "practitioner" when it comes to the well being of patients.
