I had a cough for two weeks and had chest x-rays taken and was offered a steroid injection to calm the inflammation plus meds to help get me cleared up. Nurses and x-ray tech were all so courteous. It was easy to schedule an appointment online, and my wait was no longer than 10 minutes. Once inside, I did have to wait a bit to be seen and to have x-rays taken, but that's to be expected with multiple patients waiting to be seen. I've been to a few urgent cares in this area, and I think this one's the best--especially if Sarah is working!

I felt that the situation was not assessed calmly and that my explanation was not fully considered. I explained that I had recently started taking a medication that can cause dizziness. The nurse practitioner wouldn't listen or assist me in getting up; however, the medical assistant helped me return to the front area. I later visited Next Level Urgent Care in Sugar Land, where I was evaluated and diagnosed with the flu. My symptoms included dizziness, headaches, nausea, and significant body aches, which were consistent with that diagnosis. My primary concern is I was not adequately heard or assessed before 911 was called and refusing to listen to anything I said. I was yelled at me to go to the emergency room. I was also concerned about the potential cost of an emergency-room visit. This nurse practitioner was rude and incompetent. After I returned to the front area, the nurse practitioner asked whether I still wanted a back X-ray. At that point, I declined the X-ray. Had she known about the symptoms of the flu she would have done better. Absolutely not. I appreciate the assistance provided by the medical assistant and front desk assistant. The front desk personnel (whom signed me in) also administered my B12 shot (no problem). She did not wash her hands before and after the B12 shot (from front desk to needle). However before the shot she did place gloves over both hands. No alcohol wipe on skin before insertion of needle. After needle removal, an apparent bubble of blood in shoulder area remained. No assistance with that at all. She just turn around and fill out paperwork (used gloves still on). I had to request bandaids to be placed over shot or something to wipe blood off. No attempt to assist in blood removal. She began looking and inquiring about bandaides. She left the room looking for bandaides - (still wearing used patience gloves). In her absence, I noticed a box Kleenex in the room so I removed several sheets and wiped the standing bubble blood from my shoulder. She returned with a bandaid (used gloves still on). Remove 1 glove from hand and placed the bandaide on my shoulder. This is not over. When placing the bandaide, she placed it over dry skin, not where the needle was inserted to prevent blood leak. ( It alarmed because - Normally there is no blood leak of this amount from any B12 shot I have ever taken). Needless to say: Sterilness, quality coustomer care, well being and , patient concern of medical hygiene was not on the agenda today. I hope they figure this out! And by the way - you guys can clean it up in there a little bit please. Wipe down the lobby and patience rooms.... Geesch!!! Give it a 2 rating because the lady was fairly pleasant.

And more treatments are recommended to me than necessary including lots of optional pill work, which to me is a last option. Also the nurses always seem tired and unpleasant. I wait 40 minutes! for doctor to step into my consulting room. 10-20 before and 40 for him just to come in to talk to me. At that point, I'm just ready to get my consultation over with. The last annoyance was when I sprained my foot and wanted to get it check out by family doctor. I was told that "we don't do that". Ok, no problem! There's a next level urgent care across the street and they charge similar prices and have great staff there.

Brought my dad to the urgent care after taking an injury to his ribs. When we arrived at about…read more10:30am, there were no other patients so he was checked in immediately and seen by the doctor within minutes. I've never been to such an urgent care with such fast and attentive service. Doctor Chang ordered a CT scan to check the abdomen, ribs and liver area and was fine with the scan in under 5 minutes of admittance. So glad we came here. Now I will say the imaging results are making up for the speedy check-in. It's been over an hour since the CT scan and still awaiting results. So while the check-in process was speedy, getting the results back will test your patience considering how fast the admittance process was. In any case, it's still a great facility. Clean, quiet, friendly staff. I hope I don't need urgent care but if I'm in Houston and find myself in a jam, I would certainly choose to come here.
