As a one-man show, Marlon has ALWAYS provided impeccable service from start to finish. It is amazing how well he oversees all aspects of his business; from the initial contact all the way to the end. We have had nothing less than a professional, friendly and great automotive service from Marlon. AND, let's not forget how reasonable the listed price of his work as well as, the great Customer Service provided.

5 Stars. That's all you really need to know... :-)…read more Marlon is the owner of this business. He used to work at the reputable "Mr. Auto Electric" for many years (I'm guessing 20-30+ years of industry experience) when it was owned and operated by the highly respected and late Mr. Herman De Ala and his loving wife Cris. Mr. Auto Electric had a motto: "When it's an easy job, our competitors gets it. When it's a hard job, our competitors bring it to us." This motto couldn't be more accurate since shops all around Sacramento like Pep Boys would bring and subsidize all their difficult jobs to Mr. Auto Electric and simply slap on the (i.e.) Pep Boy name after. And Marlon was a part of that dynamic team. After Mr. Auto Electric was changed ownership, Marlon went on to start his own business. Like the first review said, he's honest, competent, quick, and thorough. With competitive, fair market pricing at Marlon's Auto Services, Marlon is definitely the Five Star mechanic you should take your precious car to see. He's just what the doctor ordered. Marlon's Auto Services does lack a shuttle so you can either wait in the office's waiting room if it's a quick fix or you can arrange for a ride to pick you up if your car is experiencing some major and/or complex issues. This is because the shop is a one-man operation for now. Hopefully, word will spread out to the rest of the Greater Sacramento region that there is an honest-to-goodness honest and good automotive repair / service shop that anyone can rely on. Then, Marlon's business can expand with a larger facility and more employees so that the lack of shuttle no longer becomes an issue! =^_^= - Homer P.S. This is my very first Yelp review. ...Yay me! :-D P.P.S. Happy New Year Sacramento!

I made my…read moreinitial appointment with the Auto Experts on the first of June for a squeaking noise when reversing and some wheel misalignment. After they fixed that, the car began having issues starting. I drove it on the morning of 7/26 for a couple of hours, but when I went to start it later in the day, it wouldn't start. I made a second appointment letting them know that I thought it was the ignition since the battery wasn't the problem. I was able to drive to Roseville the next day (7/28), but I had to get towed back to the shop because the car wouldn't start again. Then finally, they suggested that maybe the problem was the fuel pump, so they spent the rest of the week addressing that. Finally, after paying $2,500 in total costs since June, we believed the problem had been solved. As I was driving from Sacramento to San Francisco on the evening of 7/31, the car completely died on the highway in Vacaville. I tried pressing the gas, and the car would slow down. I had to contact law enforcement to be escorted to a safe location so that I could wait to get towed back to Sacramento. I didn't get home until 11:15 and ended up just taking Amtrak to the Bay Area the next day. I am not sure what to do about my car now since I clearly cannot trust driving it. I left them a voicemail last Friday as I was waiting to get towed, and the only response I got was the generic office voicemail.

In addition to them only accepting cash or zelle bc their card machine was "broken". My grandmas car needed to fix the ac so she brought the car there. They def took advantage of her and told her blah blah blah and then upcharged her so much for "labor" that she didnt even ask for. When we went to pick up the car the dude was EXTREMLY UNPROFESSIONAL, treated us like we were stupid bc we were asking questions abt WHAT was fixed and WHY, which we have the right to bc i want to know why am i paying 1000$ in cash????? Avoid this place unless u want to get scammed!

im really confused on why there are so many good reviews on this place bc its a genuine SCAM! Avoid…read moreat ALL COSTS!!!! This is ur warning! First of all theyre incredibly unprofessional. I came to pick up the car and obviously i asked questions (since there were so many ADDITIONAL costs) and he had the audacity to get mad at ME for asking questions ???? He was like "ur not understanding" "i can tell u dont understand cars" like obviously ?????? If i did know cars I WOULDNT BE HERE I WOULD FIX IT MYSELF?? The entire time he kept getting mad that we were asking very valid questions - very unprofessional I wouldnt go back just based on how rude he was to me. Second of all, we came only for the AC being fixed, and he charged over $1000 LOL. He kept adding on random things like cleaning leaves on the front hood ???? Changed the cabin filter, radiator cap?? The diagnostic was supposed to be free, but then he charged $300 for it. It was a whole mess and i dont have clarity bc when i asked questions he would get really agitated and upset. When he did the walkthrough of the car he also said he wouldnt charge for the radiator cap or the valve - but he charged for it on the receipt! So then i asked why did you JUST say it was free then now youre charging me for it?? And he got upset and started saying something about he gave us a discount on the labor! The labor shouldve cost much more etc etc.....idk i was over it. It was a whole thing. FINALLY when it came time to pay, he said cash, check or zelle only. I said we only had card and said his credit card machine has been broken for months......if u wanted to commit tax fraud you can just say that and be honest. We also asked about the warranty. He originally said 1year. Then in the span of 30secs it went down from oh labor is 1yr, the parts only have 6month warranty. THEN the paper only says 90days so by that point i was like okay whatever - we'll just literally never come back. He's just making stuff up and lying as we speak. Worst shop ive been to ever. I explained the reason why we had so many questions was bc we came in for one thing, and bam theres now so many random things hes charging for? I told him every other (reputable) shop gives an estimate and if they find something wrong later, they ALWAYS call, explain it to me, tell me the new estimate and ask if its okay. They never ever fix it without saying anything. I couldve done the coolant and filter and cleaned the leaves myself!
