I asked if anyone could install it, and without hesitation he came outside, checked my car, and said he could take care of it. We went back in, he rang me up, applied the credit for my old battery, and got everything handled. this place ruined my life in 2023, they took down my google reviews and every time I drive by it all comes coming back the horrific experience I had there. I spent $350 on a radiator I installed WITH PERMISSION. around closing, asked to park it there till morning and when I came in bright and early my car was gone. which I was living in at the time. I had nothing. that was the easy part the worst part was when the entire staff came out to tease me and talk down to me and discriminate against me basis I looked like I was having a hard time with life. I was sobbing and just asking why would they do this to me and the same manager that gave me permission the night before thought it was SOOOO funny. I tried to complain to corporate, posted reviews which people responded to, because there were witnesses to how awful the staff was; horrified even the customers at hoe I was being treated. Nothing ever got done, the police didn't help, the tow yard didn't help (this was BEFORE they had signage up at the entrances) it ruined my life and it took me YEARS to become housed and get my daughter back. Shame on your staff, your customer service, your lack of follow though, your corporate complaint line...everything and every interaction I had at to zone still effects me to this day. How can people be so cruel at the suffering they cause another. I feel sorry for those people that were working that day, that they were so hateful. read more

It's just unfortunate it was so busy that it made the trip twice as long as it needed to be. I've been here a couple times over the years. Once man, many years ago, they got me out of a jam when my car battery died when I happened to be parked just a block away. Recently I popped in for wiper blades. The staff new what I wanted and the specific modifications needed for my car and made it an overall painless experience. This shop is also on a busy corner with a lot of traffic, both car and foot. Fun fact: if you have a check engine light on, they can read the codes for you for free. Check engine light came on. I pulled up to this Autozone, walked in and said I had a check engine light and asked if they can check it for me. A man walked out with me and I gave him my keys to turn on the car. He found where to plug in under the steering wheel and got a reading. We went back into the store. He plugged into a computer and learned what the codes were, explained them to me and printed it out as well.. I'm not a car person and have yet to go to a repair shop. I'm skeptical of what i dont know so I question the validity but it's not like the guy looked at it and gave me an assessment. It's reading the computer codes. I like that they offer this service and there was no pressure to buy anything and felt the service was above and beyond. I noticed I had low tire pressure and when I went to look at it realized I had picked up a screw. My tire was completely flat and I was worried I would have to replace it. I went inside, and Judith immediately helped me find the tire repair kit. She reassured me that we'd be able to fix it without any issue. Diego came outside and helped remove the screw and showed me how to use the repair kit. They even filled my tire up with air and made sure I was OK before sending me on my way. I had a headlight that was out and needed it replaced. I called AutoZone on my way home and the representative told me they could help me change the headlight and then placed me on hold while they finished helping a customer in the store. I was on hold for about 9 minutes and was almost to the store by the time he picked the call back up and told me they had the headlights for me. I got to the store and there was a line, they were busy. Jackson helped me and I purchased two headlights at his recommendation. Jackson also was gracious enough to install them for me and I'm so grateful he did, because it did not look easy! So, with my luck I get a flat tire and I pull into Smart&Final. I have the spare in my car, but literally emptied my trunk a couple of weeks ago so I didn't have to tools to put on my spare. I walked 15 minutes to Autozone, no big deal. Went inside and was greeted. Cool. They helped me to a JACK and LUG WRENCH, total $50. I was like, "Damn, I gotta carry this heavy thing for 15 minutes!" Lol. The workers were awesome and they offered to drive me to my car. SWEEEEET! Yes please! Didn't expect that at all. I only got the name of the person who drove me, BRIAN. He was super nice and he dropped me off to my car. I knew I could figure out how to change my tire with the new equipment, no problem, so we said our goodbyes. A few seconds later, Brian comes back and says, "I couldn't just leave." So he helped me change my flat even though he didn't have to. Super awesome. I think the tools the dudes are provided with to work here need work. We had to go through at least 3 windshield wipers before we could find one that could be installed for my car. All of them were recommended by their store's system, but it took awhile to find one that actually was right. Then there was the time my battery tested good. Cool! Test and charge my battery. Sweet service! Only I was left stranded a couple days later. Maybe a connection is bad. Maybe alternator? A wired effed up? I took it to a mechanic aaand battery sucks. DOH! I'd have been better off if you just sold me a battery. I'll be back though because the guys working here are great. Also when my ish don't start again I can take the 62 bus or lightrail back and forth to my place in like 20 minutes. No one flinches on lightrail if you are carrying a car battery for the ride. read more

I bought 2 headlight bulbs the other night with Kari's (sp?) help. I returned the next day as I wasn't able to install a new bulb, replacing what I thought was a blown bulb. Another young woman, Alex, was so pleasant and helpful, even installed it for me when I returned. I inadvertently turned on my brights when she was done, so we thought problem was solved. I returned once again when I realized the low beam was still not working. Both Alex and Kari tried to help identify what fuse may be the problem as the owners manual and schematic inside the fuse door didn't identify a specific headlamp fuse. Alex pored through the manual, and Kari went online attempting to help. The store got really busy and I insisted they help waiting customers. I recently had my car battery die, and took it here to get a new one. I have a bmw wagon and had never had to replace the battery before in it. I knew the battery was located in the trunk area, but I couldn't find any info on where exactly it was in the wagon model. Luckily I i was being helped by a very polite gentleman that came out to replace my battery. He was very patient with me and finding where the hell my battery was! He spent some time taking it out once we finally located it, and it wasn't easy! I felt bad because the place was getting busy and other employees were coming out to ask him questions. I offered to wait longer so he could go help knside but he said no and continued to replace my pain in the ass battery. I highly recommend coming here. This employee came out to my car and checked my battery and confirmed that I needed a new one. After buying the battery, he took the time to replace and install the new battery for me for FREE.
