Because the property owner doesn't live at the affected house, they traveled from another part of the city and rearranged their schedule specifically to meet the estimator. We also learned that the neighboring property we initially believed the tree had fallen from is vacant, making it even more important to determine responsibility and move the process forward. Unfortunately, no one arrived for the scheduled appointment, and there was no phone call, text, or Yelp message to let us know they were running late or needed to reschedule. We understand that delays and emergencies happen, but a simple courtesy message would have been appreciated. The lack of communication wasted people's time and delayed addressing a situation affecting multiple properties. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend a company that confirms an appointment and then fails to show up or communicate with the customer.

I knew I needed work done on my over 100-year-old oak tree to trim it and also get a portion of it from creeping into my neighbor's yard. I decided to hire Four Brothers. The communication was excellent. Jose came over on time to give my wife the free quote after she explained what was wanted. The quote was more than reasonable and less than half of what I was expecting to pay. I wanted a specific day to do the work and Four Brothers accommodated. Jose and his crew actually came early and spoke to my neighbor who graciously let them put their massive bucket truck in his yard. They used mats to make sure there was minimal issues with his yard when driving on it. Using the truck certainly made their job much easier, but they also used proper ropes and equipment. About four hours later, the job was complete. I was more than satisfied with how the tree turned out. It was away from my home and a good part was cut back to the fence line from my neighbor. They explained the tree was still very healthy without any holes, they removed a lot of weight from the tree, and took care of anything that was dead which happened to be minimal. They said I should have no more real issues with the tree for decades. My neighbor also hired them on the spot to top off a tree that was in their power lines, and wouldn't you know, another two neighbors came for work to be done; one to take down a 15' dead tree, and another down the street to do just as big of a job as mine was which they did right then and there. So it was a good busy work day for Four Brothers today. I was also impressed at how well once the trimming job was done at the quick cleanup. $1000 and a healthy tip for a job extremely well done! I highly recommend Four Brothers Tree Service. They've been in business they said for about 5-6 years, are fully insured, and have all the massive equipment to do the job right. The problem is that they run through a call service. The number the arborist/estimator contacts you from is a no response text. My husband and I weren't happy with the total outcome of the job and wanted someone to come and look at it. Called twice was told the first time the arborist would be there the next day to look at it. He never showed or called. Called again days later. This time the call service told my husband the arborist would call him back to discuss what we felt wasn't done. Never heard from them again. Except via email to repost the invoice to get paid. Won't be using them again. After posting this review on Google reviews they contacted us multiple times. My husband had already spent two full days cleaning up their mess. They should have contacted us back when we had called repeatedly not when they saw the review. That is not how it should work!
