Waooooo , what a delicious breakfast!!!! We had BC Benny, Works Omelette , aside chorizo, delicious coffee and juices. Susan offered a great professional and courteous service . It is a very cozy restaurant, which respects the social distance and sanitization. Portions are generous and very affordable prices in whole very diverse breakfast menu . A place to go back again !!!!

I want to like this location - I do... but sometimes their dine in service is slow. Ricky's chicken strips are my go to (perfectly crispy and tender)! The reason for rating is anytime we dine in it's a bit of a drag: once, on our hour lunch the food took 45 minutes to come - we all ordered chicken strips - had 5 minutes to inhale and then the rest to settle our bill and head back to work. We do take out often, but I wish their BLTC Salads were larger portioned!!! It is so yummy but at 19$ and in a small container I'm always left unsatisfied. It's a 3 on yelp but a 3.5 if I could give half stars. Looks like they're getting ready to make it a Ricky's/ Famoso though like the rest of the franchise!

We came here during the later part of the evening and wanted to eat a late dinner. I came to this place before during breakfast and had a pretty extensive breakfast/brunch type menu. This location is close to the SOLO district - by Brentwood and very close to the Whole Foods, Skytrain and quite of a busy area. Parking around this area can be a challenge, but during the later evenings It was easy to find. When I and my partner entered the restaurant it was quite slow during the evening 8pmish. I believe that there were just a handful of seats. We ordered the radical bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries, tomato basil soup and also the dinner size chicken tenders and fries. The issue here is that our waitress was a little forgetful unfortunately she had to come back to reconfirm the order. She had mentioned that it was "busy" because there was a table of 16 that did not put in a reservation - which was her reasoning. We ask for some side plates, water and napkins but she had forgotten. Later on, when we got our dinner - We ate more than half of the dinner and then she decided to check back on us. Still the restaurant was not busy at all. In all honestly I think this server was new. I'm short the food is decent but servers needs to be trained a little better even if one is new. Manager needs to be aware.

Classic Clubhouse on sourdough with chicken tortilla soup! Delish! :)

I was waiting for this restaurant to open for the longest time! I kept seeing "under construction" signs for this business at the Solo district and now it's finally open. This is another business we will probably frequent often as it is so close to our place. Yay for laziness!! I got the classic Clubhouse on sourdough. Love that there is such a great variety of options for sides. I got the chicken tortilla soup for no added $$ which was awesome. Yummy and good on a budget! The Clubhouse came with three triangles of sandwich. I was too full after two of the triangles so took the third one home. Service was good and everyone was so friendly. I will definitely be back, especially to try their breakfast which also looks awesome!

I saw a $10 off glance pay promo for Ricky's at this location and decided it was an easy decision to skip cooking and to head here for dinner! The promo ends on Sept 24th so you still have time to head there and use the app! It was my first time visiting a Ricky's restaurant and I was very pleased with the great service and food they have. I order smaller portion of the turkey meal and my husband ordered the mushroom burger. Both were really good and a good size for a quick family style diner. They waitress was really nice, constantly checked on us and explained the promo clearly. In the end we each paid only under $5 for our meal after the promo! Such a great deal!

Ricky's has recently opened it's doors at the Solo location in Brentwood. We decided to give them a try for lunch since we live next door and are always looking for more food options. Walking in, I saw that this location isn't as large as a typical Ricky's. They have bar style seating, a number of tables and five full booths by the window. Since all the booths were full, we were seated at one of the smaller tables. The staff all seemed super friendly, and well-prepared despite all being new to serving at this location. I ordered the grilled-cheese & bacon sandwich with tomato basil soup and my wife ordered a club sandwich. The grilled-cheese was pretty good. They melt cheese on the pan while frying the sandwich which causes a crusty cheese "wing" which is a nice twist for a traditional sandwich. The tomato basil soup was surprising as well as it contained tomato chunks and wasn't just a pure cream based soup. My wife said her sandwich was delicious as well! Upon leaving, the wait staff continued to be super friendly, asking us how everything was and hoping we had a good meal. If they can continue this service, I'm sure this location will be quite successful!

This place was surprisingly good. Although it serves similar food to Ricky's Country Restaurant on Boundary Rd. , the food here is a notch above. The BLTC salad comes with a mini loaf of garlic toast that was more than decent. The club sandwich was a few rungs above average. The steak was cheap and tasty (according to my son - an avid foodie-in-training). The cheesesteak sandwich was almost considered good. For the prices they charged and the quality of food they put out, I would rate them 3.64536 stars. In other words: higher than PI

A broad variety of food to choose from. No waiting for a seat but we had to wait for quite a while for our food to come. We had a great breakfast and a good service. The prices are good for what you get.

Gray Olive Cafeteria is a bright and simple brunch spot that serves a variety of classic, but well-executed brunch dishes and drinks. The popularity of the place showed as we waited almost an hour for a table today (granted it was a stat), with people continuing to flow in while we were dining. My boyfriend explained that they were originally a small diner, but later upgraded to more spacious seating. The waitress (who was also hostessing) was kind and apologetic for the wait. After we sat down and ordered, the food arrived very quickly. The chicken and waffles immediately caught our eye as it seemed almost one person at every table had ordered it. For $1.75, you can also opt to have your chicken made spicy, and it was very worth it! I also really liked the waffles, despite usually preferring chewier waffles. These waffles had a crispier bite, but were fragrant and delicious regardless. The crab cake benny was also a delicious umami bomb with great textures and flavours. Keep in mind, there probably isn't a lot of actual crab (mostly imitation from what I saw and tasted), but it still tasted good. One standout was the hashbrown potatoes. They were perfectly seasoned and so crispy! I also appreciated that everything wasn't too salty and perfectly seasoned for my asian taste buds. I will definitely return, but on the basis of coming for a reservation only!

Missing from the plates was butter for the toast and waffles, so I'm not sure if they don't usually provide it or they forgot it. The over-easy eggs were more over-medium and the potatoes tasted a bit off to me, but I was full anyway, so I just left them. The restaurant was a bit cold so we ate with our coats on for most of the time. Would be nice if they raised the temperature by 1-2 degrees so it's more comfortable on colder days. Service was mostly ok but our server asked us when we were still halfway through our meals if we wanted anything else and when we said we were good, she did not come back until we flagged her down for the bill. Maybe she was new, but servers should still check on customers for refills of coffee, hot water for tea, etc. Coffee is $3.25 and I did not get a refill due to the disappearing server, so it was quite pricey for one small cup. The meals were ok but for the price, I'd sooner go elsewhere for a better overall experience.

Included is a Summer Corn salad, choice of entree, and daily dessert. I made a reservation for my Mom and I for Wednesday evening at 7pm and the restaurant was quite empty though golf course was buzzing. Pro tip: There is free parking in front of the restaurant but it's also for the golf course and is pretty busy even on a Wednesday after 7pm so plan accordingly as street parking is a bit far away. We ordered the mussels as an additional appetizer in white wine broth and also each ordered the $45 menu. We both selected the Oven Roasted Beef Striploin and for dessert there was a choice of cheesecake with caramel sauce, cinnamon cheesecake, and black forest cake. My Mom chose the black forest cake and I ordered the cinnamon cheesecake. The mussels appetizer dish was quite generous in quantity for $23 and mussels were a good size. Served with 2 slices of toast, the white wine sauce was more watery than other places but still decent. For the $45 course, the Summer Corn salad comes with artisan greens, feta, carrot, radish, tomato, red onion, orange vinaigrette. This was a refreshing light start to the meal and we both really enjoyed it. For the slow roasted beef striploin, it was served with asparagus and bell peppers, mash potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and a red wine demi. The beef striploin was lean but not tough and was super trendy and juicy. Yorkshire pudding, which I'm usually not a fan of, was really warm and soft. Overall, a really solid dish that was generous in portion. Dessert was also solid for both the cinnamon cheesecake and black forest cake. We barely finished the dessert and both of us had leftovers of our entree to take home as we couldn't finish our food. Great value for a 3 course $45 meal for today's economy and the service was really friendly and warm.

The restaurant itself is moderately sized, but they were able to accommodate our party of 12. Restaurant was very dimly lit; most of the light was coming from the setting sun. The menu had as many choices as a typical White Spot. Prices were reasonable, but entrees could be upgraded which could cause prices to escalate if you weren't prudent. For example, I ordered the steak but got the lobster upgrade which raised the price by 30%. And, it was the lower-grade Caribbean lobster instead of the much juicier Atlantic lobster. It took a long time for the food to begin arriving. But, we did have a larger party that night. But, after a long wait, all our food arrived almost all at once. Presentation was good, and portion size was adequate. My steak was medium rare even though I had requested rare. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals, and a few were unable to finish their food. Service was only okay. If they weren't taking your order or delivering your food, you didn't see much of the staff. And, the restaurant wasn't exactly busy either. We did ask a server to take a group photo of our table, and they happily obliged. I'd skip the round of golf and go straight to the restaurant.
