I love love love this place! Tip of the day. Avoid the wait, phone your order in. Many years ago I used to run the Radio Shack in the same shopping center (it's now a T-Mobile store), I had enjoyed many meals there back than. Wow now I'm visiting Denver since I have moved to SW Washington. Because of Covid I have them a call to verify they were still opened. They answer the phone and suggested that I give my order over the phone I ordered the whole chicken. Made the drive over and saw people waiting outside. When I went inside I saw that indeed they were practically safety measures. They also had a sign up start once you place your order to wait outside. I gave my name and they had mine waiting for me. I paid for it grabbed my meal. IMG the smell on the drive back to my buddies place was overwhelming. It was difficult not to stop and start eating right away. It o finally made it back and we dug in. It was so juicy, flavorful and moist. Find memories!! Oh how I wish that we had something like this close to wear I live. Definitely will be back on my next trip to Denver.

It's something unexpected we are so hungry after a long fly it sounded good to have pollo on the grill for lunch. Can't truly describe it in words you need to taste it and tell me. Very nice costumer service too!

The chicken is indeed yummy... love the flavor! (Also good prices for what you get) That's why I keep coming but there are a few things that need improvement... -30 minute wait for what I always get; half chicken order?! -The bathroom needs some serious renovations and if it's not possible at least increase the cleanliness -Is it too much to ask to clean the tables and the floor? All the times I've been there is not clean so I rather take the food home. Pro tip: The half chicken with rice and bean side is perfect for 2 people!

Always enjoyed good meals and the food at their location on Sheridan Avenue. Anytime in the area I stop by there.

This chicken has so much good flavor it's like El Pollo Loco but at the expensive side of it but well worth it.

We went on…read moretaco Tuesday and had no problem getting bar seating (or there were a few tables available) around 5pm but I noticed after 6pm people were waiting for seating. The food was delicious! We got $2 chips and salsa off the happy hour menu and the queso con soyrizo (not on HH menu) which was served with warm tortillas. Honestly we probably didn't need all that because the tacos were so good I could've just filled up on more of the tacos, but still was a great meal! I ordered the lengua, pastor, and taco special (breaded shrimp). They were all so good. Think taco quality of a good street taco spot but with the ambiance of a cute tex mex bar. The bartender was great and made a solid marg ($8 on happy hour). You get a great deal on taco Tuesday but I'm sure you'd get great service and quality any day of the week!

I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.

Happy hour is from 4-6 every day and the deals are great. The quesabirria and the camarones al aljillo were delicious.
