    Was towed there with a flat and was more than pleased. They were extremely nice and the price was too low to fix my tire. They're great!

    Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unsafe Service, Unprofessional Conduct, and Improper Tire…read moreRepair Practices To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about the service my son and I received at Big Joe's Tire Shop. What should have been a straightforward tire replacement turned into an extremely frustrating, stressful, and concerning experience. When we arrived, it appeared that only one young employee was working on our vehicle. During the repair process, it became obvious that he did not have the proper tools necessary to complete the work correctly. As a result, one of my lug nuts became stripped and damaged. The situation became even worse when the damaged lug nut had to be broken off in order to proceed with the repair. Because of this, I am now left with additional expenses that should never have occurred. I now have to replace the damaged lug nut and potentially the wheel stud that was affected during the process. These are costs that I believe resulted directly from improper service and a lack of proper equipment. Throughout the repair, I simply wanted to ensure that my son and I would be able to safely drive home. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the employee became increasingly aggressive, rude, and disrespectful. As a paying customer, I should never be made to feel like asking questions about my family's safety is an inconvenience. The situation became even more concerning because dogs were allowed to roam freely around customers. My son has previously had a traumatic experience involving a pit bull and is extremely uncomfortable around unfamiliar dogs. The presence of loose dogs created unnecessary stress and anxiety for him during an already difficult situation. Businesses serving the public should maintain a safe and controlled environment for customers, especially children. Additionally, while our vehicle was being worked on, other vehicles arrived for service. Despite the fact that we were there first, the employee repeatedly stopped working on our vehicle and began servicing other customers. This significantly extended our wait time and left us feeling that our time and business were not valued. I also have concerns regarding the pricing practices. We were charged for the replacement tire and then charged a separate fee to balance the tire. In my opinion, balancing a replacement tire should be considered part of the installation process. Separating these charges appears to be an unnecessary add-on cost and raises concerns about transparency in pricing. Customers deserve to understand exactly what they are paying for and why. My concerns can be summarized as follows: Damage to my lug nut and wheel stud due to improper tools and repair procedures. Additional repair costs that I now must pay because of the damage caused during service. Aggressive, disrespectful, and unprofessional customer service. Loose dogs around customers, creating safety and comfort concerns. Delays caused by repeatedly stopping work on our vehicle to service later-arriving customers. Questionable pricing practices regarding tire balancing fees. Failure to provide a professional and customer-focused experience. As a father, my primary concern was getting my son and myself home safely. Instead, we left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and concerned about the condition of our vehicle. I am requesting a formal response regarding this matter, including an explanation of how the damage occurred and what steps Big Joe's Tire Shop intends to take to address these concerns. I also request consideration for reimbursement of any costs associated with repairing the damaged lug nut and wheel stud. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, Dan Schroeder PS- Subject: Second Formal Complaint - Demand for Immediate Refund and Reimbursement of Damages To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to submit an additional complaint regarding the unacceptable service I received at Big Joe's Tire Shop and the continuing consequences of the damage caused to my vehicle. As a direct result of the improper work performed on my vehicle, I was forced to take time off from work today to have the damage corrected. This situation should never have occurred. Had the repair been completed properly the first time, I would not have had to miss work, rearrange my schedule, or spend additional money correcting a problem that was created by your shop. After having my vehicle inspected and repaired, I was required to pay an additional $130 out of pocket to replace the damaged lug nut and wheel stud that were affected during the service. This expense was not caused by normal wear and tear. It was the direct result of the work performed on my vehicle. I should not have had to spend a single dollar fixing damage that occurred while my vehicle was in your care. What makes this even more frustrating is that I trusted your business to perform a simple tire replacement. Instead, I was left with vehicle damage
