I called Rob for assistance & he informed me he could come by my home to take a look. I texted my address while he was on another call & not only was he here quickly, but he had all the tools necessary to run diagnostics in the driveway. After a relatively quick inspection of the air intake system, during which he talked me through potential issues that could be causing the problem, he came to the conclusion that the sensor was likely the issue. After removing & inspecting the sensor we we shocked to find a bug had made it through the air filter and become stuck inside shorting out the sensor! This man is a great mechanic, a solid local business owner & he turned an incredibly stressful situation into a great day! I highly recommend him for any repairs & after several experiences with their shop, I can confidently say that he has never steered us wrong with our Subaru. The guy is on point & you shouldn't hesitate to look to him for assistance. Thankful to have him up here on the hill & grateful for his assistance. Needless to say, I'll be headed over for a new air filter as soon as possible & will also utilize their services for all other issues that arise in the future.

He changed the tire and then stuck with us as we drove over the mountain in case we blew another tire. We were able to stop by his shop on our way to Portland and get another spare for our trailer. He was only paid to change the tire by our roadside assistance and definitely didn't have to stick close as we drove over the mountain in case we needed help again, nor did he have to offer us the spare from his trailer. We checked on the tires and noticed the air hissing out of one of the back tires. We were still too far from Sandy to make it to a tire center and could already feel the impact of the flat tire. We stumbled on Page's Mt. Hood Auto and Tire on google maps but when we called we got an automated message stating they close at 4pm. It was already 430pm at this point, luckily as we made it down the mountain we drove by the auto and tire shop and their "open" light was still on, so we pulled in this is now ~4:45pm Saw a couple of employees outside chatting and we asked if they could assist us with a flat tire. Jason checked the tire and found the culprit (small rock) that had punctured the tire. Though they truly do close at 4pm, Jason was so went out of his way and offered to help us out. He was able to patch the tire for us and get us back on the road. Shout out to Jason, appreciate him helping assisting us after normal work hours!

1 star only because I have to.I PROMISE TO GOD it is your worst interest to choose this tow company…read morefor your needs...ESPECIALLY if it's a tow.On October 9th I requested roadside assistance threw my aaa because my 2005 audi a8l quattro was over heating really bad and I needed a tow.I had a friend come meet me and wait with me.The tow truck driver Contacted me and informed me he was on his way.I was watching on the tracker threw my aaa app and watched him turn around and head the opposite direction when he was only 0.4 miles away I contacted him to see what was going on and he said aaa dispatched him and told him he needed to go to Biggs junction for a priority supposively an elderly lady was locked out of her car and needed her medication inside.If true understandable.Two hours later he shows up and him and some girl get out of the tow truck she was clearly intoxicated the driver then states that I don't need to wait for him I can head to destination.An hour and a half after I arrive to destination he shows up at this time I noticed he in fact had two people with him.In the midst of him preparing to get my car off of the ramp I hear the girl in the truck laughing and asking him how she is supposed to get out and he says "climb over the seat" while laughing.The driver begins lowering my car and it popped off of the hook he didn't secure and began smashing down the ramp at full speed because he did not put emergency brake on the guy that was with him had to jump in my vehicle to hit the brakes but not before the speed of my car rolling and the impact of it bottoming out ripped my entire front bumper off of my car.Mind you it's an oem bumper discontinued and behind it are many important features of my car such as distance sensors parking sensor impact breaker bar radiator wiring harness for sun roof etc ..ALL EITHER SNAPPED OR BENT.The owner of the company cane and looked at it with her "personal auto body mechanic" and instantly wanted to focus on prior damage that was done in 2019 caused by a fender bender.Very minoot damage .She must have did a carfax on my car to learn about it because you sure couldn't tell by looking at it plus it was the very first thing she said. Maybe he has hit a rough spot in life, I'd used him 2 times over a year ago and it went well. However, he is not reliable right now and I would not use him under any circumstances. Tuesday I had a breakdown returning to Portland from Seattle. We scheduled a time at 5pm for him to meet me in Castle Rock and agreed to a price. He wrote at 4pm to say his current job was taking longer than expected. I wrote him at 5 and asked for an ETA. Called him at 6. Texted again. No response. Finally at 6:30 I had to start looking for another tow truck, and by then it was after hours and the prices go up. The guy from Jacobson's Chevron had to leave home to come get me. Good guy, And we were able to get the car home, but it was hundreds of dollars more than what Tony had offered. No explanation ever came, no text, no call, nothing. And stuck paying hundreds of more dollars. Really strange as a repeat customer especially. Avoid Urban Miner until he corrects what is going on and addresses how his business reviews are tanking...

I was told initially they didn't have room for my RV and wouldn't for a couple of weeks. This continued for about a month and a half. Then they said they could come to my residence (about a 10-15 minutes drive from the shop) to give an estimate for the small fee of $300!!!! Are you kidding? When I said no, they made room. The RV had a rooftop water leak, which they knew. After we took it over to them, they let it sit out in the weather for TWO MORE MONTHS!!! Uncovered!!! In the springtime. (More to come on this) I called every week or two to check on progress and was told the same thing every time. Something to the effect of "We are backed up and are waiting on parts for the job ahead of yours, but we should get those in this week and have your trailer in the shop the week after." Ok! Great! But I heard this from March until May when I called my insurance company and told them I needed to get it to a shop that would actually work on it. I gave a courtesy call back to them to leave them a message that I was having it taken to another shop. A couple of days later I got a call from the owner who yelled at me for hanging up on his wife, (who was also the lady telling me 2 weeks for 2+months). He wanted to know what day I spoke to her so he could charge me storage fees for the trailer from that date until I picked it up. I was flabbergasted! I told him I would pick it up that day after work. He said he would have it all ready for me to pick it up. I rushed home and when I arrived at the shop, my trailer was not there! I was stunned. I was told by a nice young man, who is the son, that they trailer had been taken by another tow company to the shop I had it going to in Oregon City. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!? Who gave permission for that? Not me! So, calls were made and actually STANTON TOWED IT THERE!!! No one called me to tell me this, no one asked my permission, not even a text saying not to come they had it handled. So, I asked the poor kid to confirm that the new shop had the keys (random thought) He was on the phone with his dad at the time and asked. The owner told the kid, we didn't leave keys when we dropped it off. I knew that wasn't true and told the kid. I called and spoke to the owner again. I ensured that they indeed DID have the keys as both parties that dropped off the trailer had confirmed they had left the keys. He told me they were lying. (NOT GOOD) Meanwhile, the mom, called the son and told him that IF they did have the keys, they would be in the key box in the office. I could hear her in the background of my phone call as well as over the kid's phone. He checked and guess what he found. Our keys! As we were driving out, I saw the Stanton big rig exiting the freeway, from the direction of Oregon City, towing another big rig and trailer. Our trailer was a bumper pull, no need to tow it with a big rig, unless you wanna get paid BOTH WAYS by the insurance company for going to the Portland area. I honestly don't know how they still exist. He made a point to tell me that they had been around and were an "institution" in The Dalles area. They are the ONLY shop around for big rigs. And I will definitely NEVER recommend them and drive the extra distance to go ANYWHERE else for trailer repairs. 0 out of 10. Negative stars if I could. Borderline fraudulent, but I'll leave that up to the insurance investigators. Multiple lies, pawn offs, disregard for customer service, no communication, acting without permission, doing things they weren't told to do with my trailer and on and on.
