Worst experience with a dealer I have ever had. Had an actual appointment to finish paperwork for an ATV, and they literally sold it out from under me after having run my credit (which took a hit), and approved the deal. UPDATE 9/26/2023: My previous review outlined the horrible experience with accounting and management when buying a motorcycle from Powersports Forney--this is an update to say that it has only gotten worse. Besides the dents in the tank console and v-cover upon delivery, within one week of purchasing the bike, I literally had people forcing me to pull over on the road because of a sketchy back tire. After my mechanics looked at it, turns out it was not mounted correctly (not inflated enough to seat) and very easily could have caused me to go down on the road. Beyond the dents and the back tire, an engine light came on a few weeks after purchasing. I've had it in the shop 4-5 times now in the short six weeks, or so, that I've owned it. All on my own dime. Powersports Forney did order a replacement tank console, but it was the wrong part in the wrong color! I advised Jay and said I'd send it back and asked if they could order the correct part in the correct color, but it has been over two weeks and I have not heard back from him. Since PSF never offered to fix the dented v-cover, I ordered the part myself and had my mechanics put it on. I'm afraid I'm going to have to do the same with the tank console. All in all, this bike was a lemon that I've now invested several thousand dollars above what I paid for it to make safe and rideable. Keep in mind that PSF has a policy of not allowing you to test ride any bike until the sale has gone through / money received. Honestly, I should have walked away at that. I have never been more unhappy with a purchase and I don't know how they are still in business. read more

Awful Experience. Post one price online on a new Indian Motorcycle, then try to charge about 5K worth of BS charges. Lowballed the trade. Bought my original Indian Chieftain from the one in McKinney. Then had the worst service experience that almost killed me. Stripped out the brake calipers after showing on the paperwork how they torqued it to the proper setting. Hard to do when stripped. Thought Forney might be better. I was wrong. I'll be moving back to Harley. I'd steer clear of RideNow. They have some issues! read more

I took my Indian pursuit to them,the starter was dragging. they replaced the starter. after I got it home I found where they scratched up my bike on the tank and the bag, I went to check the oil and oil was blowing out of the dip stick hole. I called and ask if they added more oil, they said no. I drained the oil and found 7 quarts of oil in bike. it only calls for 5 quarts, they did an oil change but told me they didn't add oil. I had just did an oil change. I cost me a second oil change because I had to drain the oil the put in to figure out what was wrong with my bike. If you need your Indian worked on take it to a real Indian dealer these power sports places are mostly incompetent. I would not buy or use this place for anything. one of the worst experiences I have ever had. it also took 3 weeks to fix a starter. I'm giving one star that's more than they deserve. Day 1: I called and spoke to Mark in sales. He was nice and answered my questions about a Suzuki I was interested in. I asked for additional pictures and he sent them to me pretty quickly. We were off to a good start. A couple of hours later I told him that I was ready to give a deposit to hold the bike. I told him it is a cash deal (no financing necessary). A couple of hours passed and I texted back asking what was taking so long. Mark said he needed to get my IDs and how I want it titled so the business manager could send me the paperwork. I told him that I could have sent those things hours ago and that no one had asked me for any info. Why he didn't get the info from me when I said I was ready to give the deposit will remain a mystery. I sent over my ID and address and I was sent a invoice for the deposit. I sent them $500 and was super excited because I'd soon be getting the bike I had spent many hours looking for online. That excitement would soon fade away. I spent the remainder of the day waiting for a call from the dealership that never came. Day 2: Since I had sent my ID yesterday and gave a deposit on a cash deal, I just knew that someone from the dealership would call to verify my info, offer an extended service agreement, or at least ask where I wanted the paperwork sent so that I could sign it and send it back. I was dead wrong! No one called me. No one texted me. Complete silence from the dealership. Day 3: I had a bad feeling about doing a deal with this dealership. The lack of communication disturbed me...especially since I was paying CASH. This should have been a super easy transaction. It felt like they don't value me so they aren't going to get my money. I sent a text to have my deposit refunded (which they did). Mark texted me and said "good thing we didn't have the paperwork done already". WTF??? I gave my deposit 2 days ago and they still haven't gotten the paperwork ready? In what universe does a dealership conduct business this way? This is a joke! Totally unacceptable. I found a used bike near me and paid cash to a private seller. I do not regret my decision. Avoid doing business with this place. read more

We bought a Polaris Ranger 1000 from them. Worst mistake of my life! They changed the deal terms three terms, last time was just as we were about to sign. Pay attention to your paperwork I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH! And definitely don't trust the BIatCH who drives the British flagged Mini Cooper who does your paperwork at the end!! Young sales guy Sam lied to me twice first time cost me the rental of a u-haul trailer because the winch was not installed within 5 days so it wasn't ready cost 58dollars plus my gas,and atv not cleaned up as promised. Lie number two we will install winch and deliver in a couple of days and he will have cleaned up or he will do it his self personally, OK delivered not cleaned up Don't bull shit customers! I just bought an Indian Scout bobber as my first bike ever. Ryan at RideNow was the absolute best! The Scout wasn't going to be in for a while when I had put an order in. We bought a Canam from this place. Everything and everyone was great til, we needed a service on it, unorganized and they said we only had warranty for 6 months it had only been 5 months. The service we needed didn't cover it. We get it, fine. But it took over THREE WEEKS to communicate that to us. Fast forward to today my husband went and told them he'll just buy the parts needed because we aren't paying over $1,000 for labor, our choice right. As told he (Zack) was bothered by that, buying the parts my husband has our 2 year old with him, he's strong enough to carry the parts but ZACK decided to give low customer service just decided to watch him(my husband) carry that out as to having a little guy around. A long box, multiple boxes. He (my husband) didn't mind but he didn't understand as to why Zack decided to get upset to just buying parts and wanting to load our Canam up. He pulled the trailer to get the canam, and Zack handed him the keys and WALKED OFF.(Kid inside truck already** ok) Not deciding to give him an eye or take ANY safety measures for customers for anything/anyone around! To making sure it got loaded up correctly and good to go. I'm thinking if he ate a bag of d.kk for lunch, cause that customer service and safety measures sucked. If I could put zero stars I absolutely would. This has to be the worst dealership ever. They are super nice an very polite when they sell a product but as far as service go. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER HAD. I had some guy name Thomas hang up me in the middle of the call an then they don't answer when I call back, or you could call up there an some one will say "hey I'll give you a call back when my manager gets back"Don't wait around to long for one back, you'll never get a call back. I wish this place was better... it makes me sick that I got my four wheeler from here I feel like these guys rip me off every time I go here. They do the bare minimum. I would've gone somewhere else if I knew I was gonna deal with them as much as I do. My bike is in an out of their service department because they over look things that should be fixed, took in in to get a valve cover gasket done on the rear, waited a month, got it back an I noticed the front valve gasket was leaking tremendously worse.... how did they not notice the oil running down the side of my motor? My husband believes in the good ole boy ways and never reads contracts. Me telling him he should. Well he was taken at this dealership. May sure you read every page of the contract. The sells guys are nice but they know what they are doing. You get to finance and they slip things in like the extended contract ( which they did with my husband) me stating what is the cost from outside the room. I just happen to be listening in. She doesn't say a word so I ask so it is free and she says yes. I say I have never heard that before she looks at me and just keeps moving along on the contract. I walk away because I know but I was going to let my husband learn a valuable lesson and that he did. NOT only did they do that but they extended the months of the contract. They lie about our house payment to the finance company they put in an extra fee and the list goes on. When husband calls to talk about the extended months that we clearly stated we only wanted 48 the guy says I thought you wanted a low payment. Husband says no. I wanted and told you no more than 48 months. We may have walked away if they had come back with a high payment so they wanted to ensure they got a sale. WATCH THEM AND READ EVERY SINGLE PAGE!!!! I have never been impressed with a utv service department until now. I took my Polaris Ranger in on a Tuesday with a laundry list of repairs that needed to be done. The biggest stipulation was that I have it back Friday afternoon for opening day of duck season. Stos and the service team delivered as promised, and all the work done was top notch. It's hard to find shops these days that do what they say they will do, but RideNow is one if the few who actually does. I definitely recommend them for any utv/ atv service. read more

Sad that they claim to be a Polaris Dealer. I go in for a simple common use part, a fuel pump. I give them my year, he says he can't find it without the VIN, so I come back the next day with the VIN, he says I am sorry we don't have any records for 2003. So I leave with no fuel pump or Ride Now trying to get me one. I call my mechanic Todd Kirby in Rowlett. He gives me the number for my fuel pump. I give it to the parts person. I get it a week later, so I decide to get a new fuel cap while I am at the dealer. Guess what, he does not have one & does not know what to do. So again I call Todd Kirby, he tells me to get it from Ebay. Which I did & it is on its way to me. I will never go back. I have been owning Ploaris' for 35 years. Ride now is a poor excuse for a dealer. read more
