I didn't even want to give 1 star after dealing with the store manager that was very rude to me. We noticed in our paperwork they sold us a gps for our son's dirt bike that was never installed a year later. The manger proceeds to then tell me that I am stupid and to look on the battery knowing this bike does not have a battery. Then he asks to allow him to install one now. To give a short story on this my husband is not a bike guy or car guy. He didn't realize that we were charged until now when we got the paperwork out to look for something and realized we were charged and never received any gps device. Do not buy from this place or if you do check what they are charging you so you don't get ripped off. Very rude manager that called me names. This is not professional. read more

Everyone leaving 5 star reviews is either a sucker with enough money to be scammed, bought while the company was still local and cared, or just flat out ignorant. I've had a few conversations with the people in the shop that didn't make me feel like they wanted to squeeze me for my last dollar and I've been there plenty. They throw on ridiculous amount of fees and act upset when you don't want to pay an extra 5k for a bike worth 6k. Not to mention lowballing trade in value so if you even think about buying something be ready to have to negotiate like a lawyer. Multiple times they diagnosed my friend's bike, said they fixed it, charged for everything, and he had the same problem later that day which he again had to pay for! First of all, I would go back, it was a great overeall experience. Inventory is great and the customer service is great. Just do your HOMEWORK before you go to RideNow, be an informed consumer! Please don't fall for the add-ons and the multiple charges for extra STUFF they try to sell you. I purchased two ATVs, and the advertised price was great. I asked about MILITARY DISCOUNTS, but they told me that the profit margin for the dealer was too low and they could not offer the military discount. They only support the military if the profit margin is good, TERRIBLE. The general manager was there, and I told him he offered me a free accessory for one of the ATVs. The second thing was Lo Jack and battery warranty for an additional charge ( +/- 1K); I declined that with pushback from the sales manager. They will continue bringing you up sale options, and I fell for two of them, which I regret. The first was the extended warranty for (+/- 2K). I went on the CFMoto website afterward, and they had an offer that extended the warranty for 3 years FREE. I paid almost 2K for something CFMoto was giving away. The sales manager did not tell me; I was very disappointed. I also signed a paper that said any REBATES go back to Ride Now. I assumed there were no rebates; I didn't do my homework. CFMoto had several rebates that would have saved me over 1500 dollars. I gave them to RideNow. Once again, I didn't do my research. Overall, I lost about $3500, and RideNow gladly took it from me. TL;DR DO NOT LET THEM OVERCHARGE YOU. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE YOU WALK IN THE DOOR. Listen, this would be a great store but they prey on people who are not doing their homework and looking up the bluebook prices of things on their phones. Classic example was when I was quoted on a 3000 dollar MSRP motorcycle just to have them come back with a $5,000 price quote. Or a $5,000 MSRP motorbike for them to come back with a $7,000-$8,000 price quote. One time, a bike that was $3,000 MSRP ended up having the same OTD price as a bike that was $4,000 MSRP. Why? Because you may be enough of a sucker to pay that. Oh, but if you act rightfully shocked that so much is being added to the base price of a motorcycle, they'll 'graciously' lower it for you to 'meet you in the middle'. This is a classic tactic on manipulating you into thinking you're getting a deal by paying what any local powersports dealer would have sold it to you in the first place. Very manipulative salesman tactics. Yes, sure, this is industry standard, and Red Hills is now part of the RideNow chain and is really no longer a local powersports establishment. So it's to be expected when you walk through the door. Just remember they're doing this and are looking you in the eye and lying through their teeth when they start the guilt tripping about losing money on the deal (They never are unless they sell it at MSRP). This isn't to say you can't get a good deal here. I got a good deal on a motorcycle eventually, but it took forever to get anywhere when testing the waters with the salesmen. Definitely not for the weak-willed who can't get in a salesmen's face and just repeat, again and again, what you want despite his insistence. In my advice, most people are not like this and will bend to pressure to avoid the confrontation and manipulation. Tallahassee doesn't have much in terms of powersports dealers anymore. If possible, put a weekend aside and go to an out-of-town smaller powersports dealer instead of dealing with them. You can maybe even find a mom and pop cycle shop, what few still exist, and get just as good of a deal without slick salesmen trying to overcharge you by a few thousand dollars. read more

She later flipped it in an accident which did result in some serious back surgery. She couldn't ride her quads for over 5 years as a result. They sat. She called and excitedly sought an appointment to begin riding them again. They refused her appointment stating that one of her quads purchased was over ten years old and they would no longer service it. It has 346miles on its odometer. They don't support their customers. They do not return calls left on voicemail or emails that you leave through their website. After numerous messages left on their voicemail, I showed up in person to get my 2003 Honda 1300 VTX scheduled for repair. They informed me.that they are booked up and the earliest they could get me in is September 10. It is July 26 today. May 10, 2024 my property was hit by two EF2 tornados. My bike was pinned in a collapsed shed under a giant oak tree. Fortunately after freeing my bike, it only had a noise issue and a display screen issue. After taking my bike in for service, they called me and verbally quoted $600 - $700 for the repairs of the issues I was experiencing. They then sent me an invoice trying to charge me over $2,200!!!! I've included photo evidence. Monthly I pay for coverage that is suppose to cover ANYTHING ELECTRICAL as stated by the associates who sold me the bike. My coverage WAS NEVER FACTORED despite the sales associate informing me it is still under warrenty!!!! After having to replace shed, fence, truck windshield, house roof, and items that were NOT salvageable after the tornados, Ride Now decides to try to take advantage!!!! No individual can budget appropriately with misinformation being provided and a sever lack of transparency!!! They misquoted the total cost of repairs and are still attempting to charge labor fees for a service I stated to remove! I'll have my bike serviced elsewhere that won't try to take advantage, lie, and steal. Additionally, I've included pictures of the damage that Ride Now is trying to take advantage of. After informing them I don't have $2,000, DESPITE THEM QUOTING $600 - $700 originally for the services, they are still trying to charge me for the display screen and labor AFTER I REQUESTED THEY TAKE IT OFF AND NOT PREFORM IT!!!! Picture evidence included of the $165 labor they are attempting to charge for whats not being preformed. Even a guy in a red shirt 06/07/24 around 5:55pm attempted to tell the general manager that they didn't do that!!!!! PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENTATION! I had brought my Kawasaki Enduro into the shop to get new tires and fix a factory issue with the gas tank. As I leave the shop, the bike begins to over-heat. I check my coolant reservoir, completely dry with little to none in the radiator. I call and they give a bs answer and tell me they "checked" it and to "top it off". My 2007 VTX 1300 with 7000 miles (not even broke in) bought new at the Honda shop developed a fuel line leak and needed a fuel filter replacement. So far, so good at Red Hills Powersports. I bought My Indian Chief Vintage in October from Steve. It had a small flaw in a chrome exhaust cover when I took delivery of the bike on my birthday. When I purchased the 500 mile break in oil change/inspection Red Hills took pictures and sent them to Polaris. Polaris said yes to covering their warranty and we set up a time to repair the cover and inspect a recall issue with the fuel line.Polaris sent the wrong part TWICE. All of that took up half of my riding time during a week of my vacation The Chief is looking, sounding, and riding good and the Red Hills Powersports crew did a good job. My recent customer service experience with Red Hills Powersports in Tallahassee FL. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised, some might even say shocked at the level of service I received. The Service Dept. was able to service my bike and leave it running in tip top operating condition, just in time to enjoy this Fall weather. My bike sat for a year and a half in my garage needless to say the fuel system became an issue. After discussing my situation with Cody the Store Manager we were able to get my bike there and they started on the repairs, a week later my bike was ready Just purring like a kitten. Adam the service Advisor recommended some additional repairs which at the time I could not afford, although I did let him know I would try and get the issue resolved sooner than later. I am seriously considering trading my bike in on a newer one perhaps a 2018 Indian Scout Bobber? Still trying to negotiate with Cody a mutually agreed upon deal. Cody is very appreciative of former, retired and Active Duty Military members and is willing to squeeze blood out of a turnip if he has to, to win your business. I am waiting to see if we can shake hands on a great deal for both of us. In the event that we can't, I still want to praise his management style and most of all, his willingness to go above and beyond the required due diligence in customer service. He is a very tough but fair negotiator. I recommend his shop to any of my friends and coworkers for servicing their bikes. I made a mistake and ended up not getting a ride because I was lied too and was giving false information before and after my credit was ran. I will never buy from them ever. Service department overcharges, just because the hourly rate is low doesnt mean the total bill will be, not only do they tack on so called service fees but more importantly they jack up the amount of hours they charge you to more than over compensate the low rate. Red Hills power sports on Pensacola St in Tallahassee truly went above and beyond for me. On a recent trip from Washington State to Portland Maine via Phoenix, Austin, New Orleans and Jacksonville, my 2010 Goldwing's already inspected and passed recall notice secondary master brake cylinder began seizing up on me in New Orleans and again in Mobile. I got a repair appointment in Pensacola for Saturday June 8 only to be told the part they thought they had was not there. So 200 miles later at 2 PM on Saturday with them closing at 4 and not open again til Tuesday, Maron in service got me in and Shawn in the shop replaced the cylinder and had me on the road again within 2 hours. There is nothing more to say other than this outfit is truly top shelf in my opinion. They did the job not knowing whether Honda would cover the recall since it had passed once before and not being able to check since they were already closed. Their concern was to get me rolling and worry about the red tape later. I truly was not expecting this being out of state and all and at the last minute on a Saturday. Thanks guys!
