My girlfriend is in this hospital and she is a single mother. I am with her children while she is in there and they keep telling my girlfriend she is being discharged the following day for several days now. It has been almost a week since her 7 year old daughter has seen her and she misses her mother so I took her to visit her mom. These people here treated this child like an animal and told me she couldn't even be in the building at all and couldn't even be in the lobby and wasn't old enough to see her mother. What the heck is wrong with these people? If she were a teen ager she would have been able to but because she is younger and at the age developmentally where she needs visits with mom they make her go outside like an animal. This hospitals policy is age discrimination, lacks compassion and is damaging to the mental well being of children and parents in this case a mother who is trying to heal and a visit from her youngest child would lift her spirits and help her do that. Who in the world thinks this policy is beneficial to anybody. Children carry the same germs as adults but in cases like kovid don't generally spread it as easily because they get sick less easily and when they do the symptoms are mild which would mean they are barely shedding the virus unlike adults who get it. It is almost like the people writing this policy have a problem with children and have a total lack of compassion. They definitely don't have children of their own and if they do they lack that strong family bond with them most likely because they spend all their time at the hospital and don't have the time for their families. I guess misery does love company and if they can't have a bond with their children they want to make sure your children suffer as well. Don't go there if you are going to be a while and you have young children unless you want your child told they can't see their mom or dad and that they have to go wait outside in the rain because they are unwelcome inside the building. I am beyond pissed.

I understand that the ED is busy but I didn't choose him to work there, he did. so the being busy thing cant be a good excuse. Doctor Daniel Sadoma wouldn't contact my surgical team after they were the ones who sent me to the ED. He was obsessed with an issue that I didn't go in for and I very clearly told him was not my problem. I reviewed the notes after I left and he actually lied on the documentation about the exam he provided. The paper work stated that he checked my eyes, lungs, etc. standard triage stuff. He never did any of that. He actually lied saying we discussed changing my routine around constipation too. He didn't discuss any changes with me. Nothing was even talked about in regards to the pain that I came in for. Literally zero pain management options were brought up. That sad I have no interest in pain meds. I wanted to be treated properly. This doctor didn't even do the bare minimum in that regard. Just the fact that I told him repeatedly that I was a bariatric patient and that my team from this same hospital sent me there and he decided that wasn't important. At one point he asked me if they wanted me admitted and I said I don't know why don't you contact them. He replied that he only contacted specialist if he had a reason to! I guess that specialist literally telling me to do he ED wasn't a good enough reason. I don't even live near Roseville, I only drove here because this is where my surgical team is! BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME TO GO HERE! Avoid Doctor Daniel Sadoma at all costs. there are way better doctors here and if you end up with this man ask for someone else or push hard to get proper care because he won't listen to you. maybe it's because I am a woman. or maybe he just thinks he knows better than my surgical team. Maybe it's garden variety doctor arrogance.

I was pulled into the trauma unit and and quickly accessed for my injuries. My friend not that far away from me. Both of us had neck collars on, so we didn't know reach other was near by. There were about 6-10 people around us poking and prodding, checking out vitals, our eyes, how conscious we were. Every staff member around us took amazing care of us and let us know along the way what they were about to do next, asking about our pain level. The amount of care that I felt was more than I have ever had in my life, but given the situation, was necessary. I fortunately did not break any bones and did not lose consciousness when the accident occurred. I am full of bumps and bruises, back aches and neck pain. The headaches.... I am so thankful for this trauma unit and how nice everyone was and how fast they acted checking for anything major. Roseville Sutter Medical Center is an amazing hospital. They have amazing staff. I would know after being here so much, not only for myself, but for my family as well. They have shown hard work, dedication, and sympathy for my family and me in the last few years. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

I personally would never go here because I have heard some terrible stories about this place ( go to Enloe). I took my friend in early ( no appointment needed..her doctor called in the order). It was surprisingly clean and not crowded. The building itself is dated and could use a good makeover. The big new glass building next to it ( which I thought I was driving her to) is still not open. After she signed in it was less than 15 minutes to get the chest xay. The techs were very friendly and professional! She had a good experience and we were in and out quickly! There was plenty of parking up front in the morning. I am grateful it was easy and not a long wait ( go early is the key).

I've been to a few in the Sacramento area as well as Roseville Kaiser ER, and I've been to a few ERs where I live now in Bakersfield. I really had low expectations. Driving up it was really easy to find the part of the hospital we needed. Parking was really simple and close, especially for a saturday night. I was shocked. We walked up and security was speaking with someone at the front who wanted in just to sit around. It was nice to see someone at the door was fielding those odd balls from just hanging out. We hit the metal detector line and that was easy even with my toddler. Walked up to triage and we were 3rd in line. We got called up within 5 minutes of being there, which is impressive considering I've been to ones where the triage lines are 30 minutes long. The triage nurses were efficient and effective. We got sent to the waiting area but as we walked away, they called us back up to triage for vitals for my toddler. They let us know we would be called back for a triage room shortly given the circumstances (some burns down her leg). We waited in the waiting room about 10 minutes and then got called into our triage room. The doctor came to see us about 10 minutes later and told us he needed pictures to send to the UC Davis burn unit to advise on treatment plans, but she definitely had 2nd degree burns and they'd be getting her back to a room until they heard back. Another doctor stopped by and he was awesome, last name Sullivan, a D.O. i believe. He reiterated some of the same things as the prior doctor and got my daughter the water she was asking for! Then a nurse came and took us to a room. Our nurse Josie was really great. She made sure that I was also drinking water and taking care of myself given the stressful situation. She and another nurse got my daughter a toy to play with that distracted her for a long time. She hooked up my daughter for heart rate/pulse and explained it all to her in toddler words so she would be less scared. We were there waiting to hear back from davis probably another hour to 1.5 or so? After we got treatment instructions, the doctor and nurse did their jobs with that stuff. They also gave us follow up care info for the children's hospital outpatient clinic about 36 hours later to go to. Overall this was one of the best ER experiences I have ever been around for. Very clean, very smooth process, and kind staff members. The waiting room was not as sketchy as some others ive been to. The medical billing/admin person was nice. The situation was super stressful but I feel like going here really eased some of the awful parts of a not good night in our lives. I am grateful for the people who helped my daughter!

When arrived in pain, the intake nurse remained calm and asked me for my information. Lucky for me, on this day, it was not long before they took me back and checked me in. They took my vitals, temperature and assigned me to a clean sanitized bed. After talking to me for a little bit, they gave me a warm blanket and an IV with something for the pain.
