My girlfriend is in this hospital and she is a single mother. I am with her children while she is in there and they keep telling my girlfriend she is being discharged the following day for several days now. It has been almost a week since her 7 year old daughter has seen her and she misses her mother so I took her to visit her mom. These people here treated this child like an animal and told me she couldn't even be in the building at all and couldn't even be in the lobby and wasn't old enough to see her mother. What the heck is wrong with these people? If she were a teen ager she would have been able to but because she is younger and at the age developmentally where she needs visits with mom they make her go outside like an animal. This hospitals policy is age discrimination, lacks compassion and is damaging to the mental well being of children and parents in this case a mother who is trying to heal and a visit from her youngest child would lift her spirits and help her do that. Who in the world thinks this policy is beneficial to anybody. Children carry the same germs as adults but in cases like kovid don't generally spread it as easily because they get sick less easily and when they do the symptoms are mild which would mean they are barely shedding the virus unlike adults who get it. It is almost like the people writing this policy have a problem with children and have a total lack of compassion. They definitely don't have children of their own and if they do they lack that strong family bond with them most likely because they spend all their time at the hospital and don't have the time for their families. I guess misery does love company and if they can't have a bond with their children they want to make sure your children suffer as well. Don't go there if you are going to be a while and you have young children unless you want your child told they can't see their mom or dad and that they have to go wait outside in the rain because they are unwelcome inside the building. I am beyond pissed.

After passing out 3 times, and pulse dropping to 20bpm, EMT's rushed me to Sutter Roseville. After…read moreevaluation i was fitted with a pacemaker. The staff was beyond awesome, The Doctors were extremely thorough and explained everything and answered all my questions. When being prepped for surgery I felt I was in a NASCAR pit stop, they were moving fast. The most suprising thing (especially considering my opinion of where health care has crashed to in modern times) was my care staff. All my nurses and support team were there for me anytime I needed or wanted something. So many names, many I never remembered but De De, Ashley, Kacey and Manney rose to the top. Although Manney working the night shift had to be a little more expedient as during that time I just wanted them in and out so I could sleep. Although I was grumpy with night staff a few times, in retrospect they were awsome and did what had to be done. Thank you Roseville sutter cardiac division. Even though out of my way (I live in Folsom), If I have another cardiac event needing hospitalization, I hope I go there.

Intentionally misleading and false advertisement. I wish I could switch to Kaiser, but I have no idea if my insurance will let me. I also could have sued them, had I had the money to. I had gone to the ER with my debit card, EBT card, and ID card. I had them all in my wallet, and when I got to a room, a security guard handed me my wallet back, empty. (?!?!) I was told by a nurse that "Theres a new protocall, they take patients valuables who are seen for a 5150 to prevent identity theft." Well she was lying through her teeth, because on the way to a diffrent facility, I noticed I still wasn't given back my cards. So a week passes of being at a diffrent facility, and I get discharged home, still with no ID, Debit card, or EBT card. No way to provide myself with food or anything I needed. I come back to Sutter, I ask them about it and they try to convince me that the facility I went to has my cards. I knew they didnt, but just to prove I was not wrong like they wanted to convince me I was, I called them. They checked everywhere and didnt have it. It was clearly their fault, so now they are checking "everywhere they can" (more lies) to find it. After four hours of waiting to get my stuff back, a security guard and a police officer walk up to me. They tell me to leave the premises, or I will be charged with trespassing and arrested. Yeah! They said they will arrest ME after THEY won't give me back my property. I said "Fine, arrest me" because I knew they were in the wrong and not me, but my freind had told me I have to leave because I don't want to go to jail. This should have been the end of things, but I'm LITERALLY WALKING TO MY FREINDS CAR, and we are arguing but WERE STILL WALKING TO THE CAR and the police and security follow us out there and repeat what the told us the first time, and added "Its really not hard to leave." I wish I could have gotten arrested to show a judge that I wasn't in the wrong, but whatever. I left, and ever since then, sutter hospital has treated me like hot, stinking garbage. After what THEY did to ME. I eventually had to just reorder all the cards and be stuck with no access to any money for a while. I would sue the socks off these people if I had the money to.

I had my first visit to this ER over the weekend on Saturday night. I have to admit I was preparing…read morefor the worst. I hate being at the ER. I've been to a few in the Sacramento area as well as Roseville Kaiser ER, and I've been to a few ERs where I live now in Bakersfield. I really had low expectations. Driving up it was really easy to find the part of the hospital we needed. Parking was really simple and close, especially for a saturday night. I was shocked. We walked up and security was speaking with someone at the front who wanted in just to sit around. It was nice to see someone at the door was fielding those odd balls from just hanging out. We hit the metal detector line and that was easy even with my toddler. Walked up to triage and we were 3rd in line. We got called up within 5 minutes of being there, which is impressive considering I've been to ones where the triage lines are 30 minutes long. The triage nurses were efficient and effective. We got sent to the waiting area but as we walked away, they called us back up to triage for vitals for my toddler. They let us know we would be called back for a triage room shortly given the circumstances (some burns down her leg). We waited in the waiting room about 10 minutes and then got called into our triage room. The doctor came to see us about 10 minutes later and told us he needed pictures to send to the UC Davis burn unit to advise on treatment plans, but she definitely had 2nd degree burns and they'd be getting her back to a room until they heard back. Another doctor stopped by and he was awesome, last name Sullivan, a D.O. i believe. He reiterated some of the same things as the prior doctor and got my daughter the water she was asking for! Then a nurse came and took us to a room. Our nurse Josie was really great. She made sure that I was also drinking water and taking care of myself given the stressful situation. She and another nurse got my daughter a toy to play with that distracted her for a long time. She hooked up my daughter for heart rate/pulse and explained it all to her in toddler words so she would be less scared. We were there waiting to hear back from davis probably another hour to 1.5 or so? After we got treatment instructions, the doctor and nurse did their jobs with that stuff. They also gave us follow up care info for the children's hospital outpatient clinic about 36 hours later to go to. Overall this was one of the best ER experiences I have ever been around for. Very clean, very smooth process, and kind staff members. The waiting room was not as sketchy as some others ive been to. The medical billing/admin person was nice. The situation was super stressful but I feel like going here really eased some of the awful parts of a not good night in our lives. I am grateful for the people who helped my daughter!

There was another patient in the same room that had a male nurse and he was pretty rude to his patient who was an elderly woman that had taken a fall. I'm just glad he wasn't the assigned nurse for me. Overall experience for me was an A rating! Thank you for taking good care of me while I was there.
