Desta, the arborist, is incredibly knowledgeable and always provides a fair and reasonable estimate. I really appreciate the care she takes in assessing what needs to be done--she clearly knows her stuff. The crew that came out recently to trim shrubs, bushes, and trees, as well as remove a few, did outstanding work. They were efficient, respectful of the property, and left everything looking clean and well-maintained. Carlos, the site manager (I think that is his job title), was very receptive to listening to my requests and effectively communicating them to his team. I also want to mention that the woman who handled scheduling and spoke with me on the phone (sorry, I didn't get her name) was very professional and kind, making the whole process smooth from start to finish. Montoya Tree Service continues to be my go-to, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for expert, dependable tree care.

I received three quotes ranging from $150 to $300; the $300 quote came from Manitoya Tree Service. I decided to hire them because timing was important to me, and they offered to perform the service within two days. They showed up on time, and ten minutes later, the small stump was gone. The person performing the service was very friendly, and up to this point, it was five-star service. The disappointment occurred when I learned that I would be charged a credit card fee, especially since I was already paying the highest quote. My daughter runs a tiny business compared to Manitoya Tree Service, and she never charges her customers credit card fees. For that reason, I am giving them three stars, and I will not recommend this company to my friends and family. In my opinion, every business should structure their prices to avoid nickel-and-diming customers, especially when customer satisfaction is on the line.

From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive, and highly organized. They clearly communicated timelines, set realistic expectations, and kept us informed throughout every phase of the project. They were always willing to answer our questions and took the time to ensure we understood the process and options available to us. Most importantly, the quality of their work exceeded our expectations.

They were one of three companies recommended by Lurvey. One was out of business and the other was about 50% higher. The project took 4 days and went fairly smoothly. My only concerns were that the transplants didn't get replanted as quickly as I would have liked and there wasn't as much attention to watering each of the newly planted shrubs except for a few minutes of surface watering at day's end. As it's nearing the end of the growing season when plants normally begin to fade, I won't know for sure how successful the project is until next year but if everything survives the winter I'll be very pleased. I'll try to add an update at that time. I hope to be in contact with A Garden Guy next season for updates to my front yard but will have to get an earlier start as they book up fast.
