I was looking to have my water heater flushed and to have the factory spigot replaced with a larger one so that I could do future flushes myself. In Gardena, the water here is quite hard and calcium builds up quickly. If left unchecked, it can ruin water heaters as I'm on now on my 3rd in 15 years. According to Home Advisor, flushes should bb about $100--but everywhere I called would either not give a price range without an onsite assessment or were quoting double what Home Advisor was suggesting... and those quotes didn't even include a spigot replacement. I assumed the Home Advisor price was either out-dated (or didn't take into account CA pricing) as I called over a dozen plumbers. I called Right Flow during this process and while they were not the lowest price, they were quite reasonable and middle in terms of the estimates I was getting (when they would actually give me prices). One of the other plumbers I called insisted he could beat any price but needed an in-person inspection. So I agreed, they came out and their quote was more than double that of Right Flow's and many of the others. More over, they claimed to also do HVAC but had to admit their associated quote for HVAC maintenance over the phone could not be honored as they assumed I had a different system that used small filters. (I won't slam that plumber BY NAME in this review but they are definitely on my black list for claiming they can give estimates on HVAC maintenance without seeing the unit while simultaneously bemoaning that water heater flushes are impossible to quote without seeing the unit in person). After much fiasco like this, and 2 days worth of calling around, I went back to Right Flow. I called them in the late morning and was able to make an appointment for later that day. Joseph showed up right on time, called me right before arrival (as requested) and was overall very polite, professional and attentive. He quickly assessed the project and finished it in just under 90 minutes. Now I can do future flushes myself. If I ever have plumbing issues in the future, Joseph will be my first call. read more

Not a good experience. I'm a small business owner, a franchisee, but I think the plumber thought I was a corporate store because he jacked me on price. I needed a toilet tune-up (i.e. a few replacement parts, etc.) At first, I was impressed by how quick and prompt he was; he was very close. But at the end of the job, he asks me for close to $400 worth of work for an 1 1/2 of his time. That's over $100/hour. Then I look at the invoice and he tries to charge me $26 for a new toilet handle; a $5 item at the plumbing store. It really gets me upset, because I would have used this guy again and again if he would have treated me right. I bet if he did the same job in my house, he would have charged me half the price. read more

I usually maintain my kitchen drain to be cleaned every year as maintenance but the problem of a slow moving drain became more obvious after I had plumbing work done by a plumber recommended by Home Advisor.. I called Right Flow Plumbing to clean out the pipes by hydrojet but we discovered that pipes were installed at right angles and would not allow proper cleanout of the kitchen and laundry drains! When Right Flow Plumbing opened the walls to check the pipes, more anomalies were found!!! The pipes installed were of the wrong siZe, connected with rubber and clamped, causing backup and thus the slow drainage!!! Instead of fixing the problem, the other plumbers made it worse( like for them to be called back to fix the problem??) also the drainage pipe they installed on the driveway was too shallow ( 6 inches below) when the standard depth should be 18 inches!! And water was found stagnant in the Pipes because the slope was not correct to allow drainage flow! Well, Right Flow Plumbing ( Joseph) made the major corrections, and completed the job. clean up was well organized, he always left the area clean after working, completed all in 3 days!! He has done other plumbing work with us before and has always effectively performed quality work on time and efficiently!! Joseph is always careful and neat around the work area.
