The yams were awesome, the corn was overcooked and I am sure its because we got the food right before closing, the cabbage lacked salt and pepper, and the mac n cheese needed salt and pepper as well. Overall the meal was good just a few tweaks here or there and the sides would be bomb! My husband insisted that the brisket needed some smokiness and needed a little more seasoning as well. All the meats were cooked extremely well and had that nice wood cooked flavor to them. They were seasoned very well and not overdone at all. The workers were very polite and kind. They kept us informed as we waited on our food. We had potato salad and green beans on one plate and potato salad and fried okra on the other. The sides were very complimentary to the meats. It's a Food-truck style business owned by Les and Miss Paula. Both wonderful people and it is so very evident that they love what they do. Everything that we tried was screaming with down-home, made-from-scratch love!! Pork Ribs-Outstanding / Brisket-Outstanding / Pulled Pork-Outstanding!! I tried and loved their Collard Greens, their Ranch Beans and their Cornbread. They are open at the location that we went to on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
