I was quoted 158 for this job the day prior over the phone and I confirmed at the start of the appointment if that would be the price. My brakes were in poor shape, missing a brake pad on one side and the mechanics spent an extra 15-20 mins working on my cylinder. At the end of the job, Chris informed me that they got air on the line and would have to bleed the brakes. (I've always had my brakes bled at the end of any brake job so this is standard for me to have done whenever I get my breaks done. They told me this would be an extra 120 dollars at the end of the job. My father is a mechanic and said that price was a little high just to bleed the brakes and was very familiar with the procedure. He told me "go call your dad and ask him to send you more money." When I asked if they could take 20 bucks off and knock the price down to 100 from 120 he asked me to tell him how old I was which I thought was rude and uncalled for. I told him I was 30 and he proceeded to say "wow you look 18" and said "one day you're going to have to learn that everything in life isn't free sweetheart." When I went to his office to pay he also said I'm going to have to buy him lunch because they spent extra time working on my car than they planned. Disgusting behavior. I would not recommend this shop to any woman (or really anyone) unless you want to be taken advantage of and upsold. They ended up bleeding one brake so my car would be somewhat drivable. My interior dashboard was also scratched up when I got my car back from them.

My wife needed that car for work within a few days and my time was limited during that time to get it somewhere to get fixed. I called CLTmobile and got an appt booked right away. Most recently, I took my 2020 Chrysler 300S to Steve for sorting out after getting it back from Gastonia CJDR with a number of minor issues that weren't properly corrected as requested, along with being given insufficient commentary/excuses. Steve kept the car for a couple of days, making sure everything was done right. 300S now drives properly, starts, idles and accelerates properly, with better fuel mileage according to the dash instrument MPG display. I corrected the headlamp aiming myself before taking 300 to Steve as I knew this was a subjective matter. I now grin bigger than ever every time I drive 300! Far from the first time I've gone to an independent shop to get a vehicle under warranty corrected by someone competent. This is the first Mopar product I've purchased since 1985 for that reason. The last GM product was purchased in 1981 for the very same reasons. Wishing Steve continued success and look forward to doing business with him for years to come.

Removing a transmission or engine works is lengthier. Fix the tire and then go back to the more complicated job. It's not difficult.
