Everything was exactly as requested and confirmed when we booked our stay. Facility and grounds - This location was immaculate. The parking lot was well tended and large sized (and felt safe and secure.) And parking IS FREE. Room - Our one-king bed room would have passed an Army drill sergeant's white-glove inspection. It was spacious and well-appointed. The fridge and microwave worked just as well as everything else in the room and on site. The hot breakfast - Are you kidding me? This was no ordinary morning motel breakfast (think of those nasty oatmeal spills and over-filled waffle makers.) No way! We're talking custom-made omelettes and breakfast burritos made fresh from scratch while you wait! (SEE MY PIX) But wait, there's more! You get a cappucino and latté machine, hot chocolate, juices, fruit, all the other classic favorites, too! And, yes, it came free with the room. Ease of access - You're in line of sight from the freeway, not a quarter mile away, but without any of that highway noise. Bottom Line Last? - YES, DO BOOK your stay here! I am beyond sick and tired of hotels that refuse to buy enough luggage carts to have them available for their guests, and also refuse to enforce any kind of policy that holds guests responsible for returning the carts in a timely manner. Suggestion: If you want a cart you provide a $50 deposit (charged to your room) and if the cart is not returned in 30 minutes you lose the deposit. I should not have to make 8 trips back and forth at check-in AND check-out to shuttle my belongings from a full-size SUV packed for a 3 week roadtrip (everyone knows not to leave a single item in their vehicle overnight). The TV's built-in entertainment system was frustrating to navigate and outdated. I expect easy access to Netflix/Tubi/Prime Video in 2026. I was not given any info about WiFi and I could not find a WiFi signal. Parking is very limited and even more so when the hotel is hosting a party on their back lawn. If management would address some of the issues mentioned above this could be a 5 star Best Western Plus, it certainly has the potential.

Parking is a bit of a hassle and we ended up paying the $10 for hotel,parking in a lot around the corner. It was worth it as we could walk to restaurants within blocks of the hotel. As for the room itself, it was moderately sized but we had room for all our gear without tripping over anything. The king sized bed was comfortable with 5 pillows provided (the norm seems to be 4 nowadays). The room was very quiet but the bathroom has a sliding barn door which unfortunately doesn't muffle bathroom noises which should be private. Decor is soothing warm neutrals with a small sofa and a desk chair provided for seating. There is a small frig but no microwave. Keurig is provided for in room coffee but I would recommend going down to the lobby where fresh brewed coffee seems to be provided. 22/7. We did not check out the rooftop garden due to the weather. Would've enjoyed a drink in the cozy bar adjacent to the lobby but it doesn't seem to be open yet. I would definitely stay here again should I have the need to overnight in Ellensburg.

Since it was just for a couple nights, I decided to get something downtown so I could walk around. I found Hotel Windrow online, booked the room and what a fantastic surprise. This boutique hotel is indeed RIGHT downtown. It's stylish, easy to find, obviously in a great location, and the property includes a hip little lobby bar a space called 'Top of the Berg' which is a rooftop area with fire pits, etc. very cosmopolitan. The rooms were lovely, very homey with a small couch, desk, large bathroom and comfortable bed. I walked two blocks to a fantastic Italian meal (more about that in another review) and overall, had a truly fantastic and easy night. A couple amenities to highlight include ample parking and electric charging spaces for electric cars or hybrids. I love finds like this, and plan on making at least one night stay over a regular occurrence now if I'm traveling on I-90. Recommended.
