Churrasco Salvadoreño Grilled steak, 3 shrimp, sausage, mixed rice & beans, and cabbage salad
    Lawrence L.

Was craving pupusas and this was a quick walk from where we live. The food was amazing. We had a party of 3 and we ordered a Botana Regular and two pupusas to split and a Churrasco Salvadoreño for myself. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful! Some bits of steak were dry but overall still good. The cheese pupusa was chefs kiss. My favorite thing there. Service was great - our waitress was really attentive and the owner of the restaurant was also nice suggesting things for us to try. Ambiance was good- there were a few families. a lot of people got to go orders. Will be back

We have been coming here for years for pupusas which are always great but I wanted to try something diff so I chose Botana regular for my son and I. He got an elote thinking it was just Mex street corn. When it came as soup we laughed but when we tasted it omg. It was amazing!!! It's only I think 6.00 and the flavor was perfect warm creamy with cinnamon sticks. Just perfect. The Botana came and there was just one problem lol it was too good! We should have gotten the bigger size and been pigs. Lol. (Next time we'll bring one more person) the shrimp was grilled perfectly. The guac was thick and the steak was also perfect. The dish came out beautifully as well! Ty!!!

Chill place to watch a game, hang w/ friends or family. No loud music but everyone's around to watch the game. Pupusas are bigger than expected but also more cornmeal and less filling. The slaw, picked cabbage that's on top is my favorite...but, this tasted more like salad. Nothing pickled or fermented about it - which I didn't like. Service is friendly, but slow. Everybody's just chillen. But $3/pupusas good deal

I thought this place would have been better based on reviews. Greasy and soggy pupusas!!! Go to panchitas instead y'all!!!

    Super Botana

Stopped by Rincon Latino for lunch. Wasn't too busy got seated really quickly. The food was amazing. Split Super Botana with 2 other people and the food was more than enough! Very filling and tasty. Also ordered 2 papusas each and the papusas were some of the best I've ever tried. The service was fast and friendly. The owner Julio and his wife are also really great people. Very welcoming and good conversation. Definitely will be coming back!

If you want authentic pupusas without paying arm + leg this place is great.

This is my go to place to get pupusas. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I also love the sides it comes with.

Is this southern Mexican food? I once visited a restaurant that said they were from southern Mexico and their red sauce was the best I've ever had.

I'd give them about a 3.5 out of 5. On a good day, they come out with that perfect golden-brown finish. On a bad day, they look and taste undercooked to the point where I've had to throw them back on the stove at home just to make them edible. The ambiance doesn't do much to help. It's your typical Mission-style Latin restaurant, kind of sticky and worn-in, but in a way where you can't quite tell if it's part of the aesthetic or just a lack of upkeep. Now, let's get into why this leans closer to a one-star experience. The staff consistently come off like they'd rather be anywhere else. They don't smile and often come across as rude. Timing is basically a suggestion here. If you place a takeout order, plan well ahead, at least 45 to 60 minutes before pickup. Every single time I've called, I've been told 25 to 30 minutes, only to arrive and wait another 15 to 20 minutes. Without fail. And in a neighborhood where parking is already a headache, with limited meters and tight timing, you'll feel that delay. Your patience will absolutely be tested. Don't say I didn't warn you. Update: Today's order included a hit inside the cheese mixture of the Pupusas. Disgusting.

Other spots I'm eating masa. Unlike many places that serve greasy pupusas, these are nicely made and not greasy. We usually order takeout since the dining area is small unless you go early. Parking can be a headache, but I've always managed to snag a spot (knock on wood). The staff are friendly, and we always leave full and happy!
