The paint job itself was impeccable. Spiro and his wife, who manages the business affairs, could not have been nicer or more responsive. They truly wanted us to be completely satisfied. Everything was done on time and budget. This past fall, we called them back to paint our bedroom where a seam had appeared, not their fault. Again, Spiro did the same fantastic job, making every effort to ensure our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use SRP again for any painting job. This partnership with Home Depot seems flawed with a bait and switch to lock you in with Lex…read moreConstruction, who does absolutely nothing but install a door and overcharges for labor, especially custom services, such as a cement saddle/threshold fill, to ensure the door fits. They Home Depot rep states one thing and Lex Construction seems to state another to replace a basement walkout external door, which is 32"x76", for a rough opening of 34"x78" with a cracked cement saddle/threshold. We didn't want to pre-pay $40 for any door measurement unless the Home Depot rep called to confirm Lex Construction could do both: replace and install door with cement saddle repaired and filled to close flush for preventing water from flowing through the cracks. However, the Home Depot rep recommended a fiberglass door using our own measurements and pictures whereas the door measurer suggested a steel door later. It's unclear if we can lower the cement saddle to use a standard door (~32"x80"). It took two weeks playing phone tag to schedule the door measurement without any voicemails leaving potential times of availability. Whenever I called, the lady was unavailable, driving, or not ready to handle anything until she could call back at her convenience. Then, the measurer arrives late due to traffic, which isn't his fault. He was courteous, fast, and helpful. However, I feel the measurements seemed so rough that I wonder how precise they'll get the install right with such estimates, not exact measurements. He said the quote would include the lockset as told by the Home Depot rep, but then the quote doesn't include it. Plus, the coordination and misinformation are confusing when the quote seems to be only for the labor (~$650) to install the door and custom work (~$1K) that isn't accounted for with any price breakdown or duration with rough delivery (e.g., three weeks to order custom door) and installation times. This is not only an inefficient and misleading process, but a frustrating and unhelpful one where I don't recommend going through two parties, who don't seem aligned for a seamless transition and customer experience. Don't waste your time with Lex Construction. It's clear that they haven no sense of customer service. They have left me with no recourse but to never trust them and Home Depot in Flushing again.

I had to go through these problems and it was REALLY STRESSFUL...!!! now, I just found out the cabinets started falling down!!!
