I have nothing negative to say about the restaurant itself, the seating and vibes were good! However the food severely lacked flavor. My sister had birria tacos and her consume was just not consume IYKYK, we got a French dip and the sandwich was okay but had no flavor.. the au jus was literally beef both.. when it's supposed to be a gravy. We ordered a burger and the meat tasted like eggs. Now the service was also sub par, the servers were not welcoming and seemed annoyed. This lively beer garden was a lot of fun! Even though parking spaces are limited they have a very cool art mural in the parking lot. Rino Beer Garden is a self service place - grab your own menus, seat yourselves (in wooden booths), order food, drink & pay at the bar with the bartender then pick up your food at the end of the bar. We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon at 4 PM. Loud music was playing & the patio doors wide open, making it a little chilly inside. Note, Monday-Friday from11AM-3PM the Lunch Special is a regular Burger with Fries, a 10oz Draft, Well Drink, House Margarita or Soda for $10.95. We had the Chips and Dip Trio for $12. The dips were salsa, guacamole & queso. The queso was my favorite...great flavor. The salsa was a little sweet & not very spicy & the guacamole was bland. My Mushroom Swiss Burger came with Fries was reasonably priced at $13.50. The burger & fries were good, I especially enjoyed the garlic parm sauce on the bun. We didn't try the beer, maybe next time. Place is great to have a beer and watch any sports outside!! Tons of great beers on draft and the staff is super friendly. We did get some food but really was nothing special - I got the Santa Fe salad and also got the bot Caesar wrap and both were super average and slightly bland. Stopped by RiNo Beer Garden for brunch and grabbed one of their fall specials, a pumpkin beer, which was actually pretty good. I had the chicken Caesar wrap, and while it was fine, it wasn't anything memorable. The real highlight is the outdoor patio with a great vibe, plenty of space, and almost every football game on, which made for a solid Sunday spot. The only downside was the bartender, who was super unfriendly and seemed like he didn't want to be there. They have lots of deals so take your time to look at the chalkboard so you don't miss out. We ordered poutine fries and a chicken sandwich. The fries were actually pretty good. Everything about this place was on point. The ambiance, the vibe, the drinks, the staff, the food, and the look were well planned out. We enjoyed food and drinks out on the patio and enjoyed the soft breeze in the air with the misters blowing. Our drinks weren't overpriced, so we definitely got to enjoy a few rounds and some appetizers. The only thing that threw me off on the appetizers was the chorizo queso, I was expecting more of a queso fundido, but it was still a good dip. The staff was quick to serve our food and drinks and clean up our dirty dishes. Even the other gust enjoying this place were friendly and inviting, making our visit even better. We were at the back at a high top with partial pergola roof covering (great for larger groups & sunny days). The menus are QR code and offers both, drinks & Food. Our server was very kind and consistent with her service. We all got different drinks (cocktails & beers) and a few things to much on. I got that steak salad (wasn't a fan of the dressing flavor & WAY TOO MUCH, it was drenched) and a side of French Fries (very authentic tasting real potato fries). So this place is super cute and has good prices for mimosas, love that! Me and two friends went in for mimosas and there were only three other people there, one bartender. Whoever our original bartender was, love her. We ordered mimosas and she took our card for the tab and said we could split it at the end. The waitress was fantastic, delivering all orders in a timely manner (especially with the amount of customers). Firstly, the food was delicious. We weren't sure how good it would be since the menu didn't seem that awe inspiring but we were very happy with the food quality and flavors. Probably some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had, seriously! The beer list is very large and diverse which always makes me happy and there is a short wine list as well as cocktails. Keep in mind this a "wait-on-yourself" type of place so you'll order your food and drinks at the bar...which may have a bit of a wait because they seemed understaffed the evening we were there. The food did come out in decent time but, again, you'll have to go get it from the counter yourself. I wasn't enthralled with the bartenders personality, he didn't seem enthused about playing the main order taker for all things RiNo Beer Garden and his personality was flat but he was keeping up the best he could. There are booths and counter seating inside as well as some sort of backroom which we didn't explore as well as a large outdoor seating area. Parking is a bitch as the lot is tight and not very large in comparison to the number of patrons the restaurant can house so plan on finding alternative parking in the area...or walk/bike. I get so mad whenever I drive by this place (almost every day) because of the poor experience I had. I enjoyed a few beers with two friends on the crowded back patio, but there were WAY too many customers allowed in the venue for the amount of food, beer, and staff available that day. I feel bad for the wait staff because there ARE things out of their control. Good for the ones that can put themselves on autopilot and zone out. It's just frustrating that certain beers were out, and ordering food wasn't even an option that night because they were too busy with to-go orders. We were also asked to switch tables to make room for a bigger group, which we were happy to do, but that caused us to fall off the service map. No wait staff member ever checked in with us again. They were too busy to be flagged down, so we just went to the bar to order more beer. Get here early enough, and you can find parking in their lot, but the streets of RiNo are notoriously challenging. Never mind that because I don't plan on coming back here. There are so many other breweries in Denver to check out -- ones that don't let themselves overcrowd and underserve. read more
