I'm a sucker for a good sandwich, and Eleven Deli is top notch. We stopped in around noon on a Sunday and it was packed, with a line to order. You order at the counter, grab a number, and then find a table. Seating was filling up quickly, but we managed to snag one. I went with the Focaccia & Mozzarella, and wow. The house-made focaccia might be some of the best I've ever had, soft, fresh, and with that perfect bounce you want from focaccia. It's filled with fresh mozzarella and spinach pesto, and I added chicken for extra protein. The sandwich is huge, easily big enough to split with someone. The sandwich itself is on the pricier side ($17 + $6 for chicken), but the quality is there. You can also add prosciutto for less, which I'd definitely consider next time. The house pickles on the side were gas. We also grabbed a half loaf of sourdough for around $6, which I thought was a great option. My fiancée and I sometimes struggle to finish a full loaf, so being able to buy half was perfect. I had some toasted with breakfast the next morning, and the sourdough was excellent too. They also have a great-looking pastry selection, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to work my way through the other sandwiches, both grilled and cold. Phenomenal experience here- line was long-ish on a Saturday at 11am. We arrived just in time for the lunch menu and the order taking process is very efficient. Had such a great experience at Level Deli. When you enter, you order at the register then grab a table inside or outside. You're given a number and they bring your food at to you. The service at the register was great; they were so helpful. I ordered the lamb kabobs. It came with 2 skewers, hummus, tzatziki, grilled lemon, a flat bread, pickles, a tomato and cucumber salad, and cabbage. It was plenty of food and it was so delicious. I would highly recommend getting this entree. For dessert, I got the snickerdoodle which had a nice taste but it's not the texture I like for that type of cookie. It was quite a thick cookie. Not cheap but the sandwiches are huge and delicious and made with a house baked bread. Everything here is great. It's been our go-to place after visiting the wonderful art museum nearby. This place can get busy but no matter how crowded it was we could always find a spot. The staff can help when it busy. The hummus plate is another great option, it's huge and can be great to share. I went on a bright Wednesday morning with a couple of friends and ordered the classic breakfast, swapping bacon for pastrami (a first for me) with an everything biscuit on the side (also a first). Both were revelations. The eggs over-hard might be the best version of that order I've ever gotten from a restaurant -- just a whisper of uncooked yolk in the center, perfectly seared on both sides. Skillet potatoes were spot-on. The skillet pastrami was rich and properly crisped at the edges. And the two generous slices of sourdough arrived with a scratch-made blueberry jam that I ended up smearing on everything I could -- sourdough, biscuit, probably would've eaten it with a spoon if no one was looking. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich, which clearly belongs in the staples category. The baguette was the star: toasted outside, pillow-soft inside, zero tug-of-war with your teeth. That detail alone tells you the kitchen cares. This is the Ron Swanson part: there's an unapologetic confidence to this place. They know exactly what they're doing, they're not trying to oversell it, and they're not interested in charming you into liking it. They're just going to hand you something excellent and trust you to figure out the rest. The coffee was good. The food was setting-a-benchmark good. A real 5 out of 5 stars, no pickin nits. Mild observation, not a complaint: the service is counter-only, no traditional table service. Would Matthew McConaughey or Reese Witherspoon dropping plates off elevate the experience? Sure. But Ron wouldn't have it any other way, and honestly, neither would I after eating here. If I lived within 45 minutes of downtown Denver, this would be my destination breakfast. Quite literally one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I got the Braised Pork sandwich which is: braised pork, arugula, pickled onions, and an aioli on baguette bread. The pork was juicy and well-made. Every bite was so yummy and I finished it all in one go. Their pickles look spicy, but aren't. They are super sour, which is something I like, so I put it inside my sandwich and it made an awesome combination. The line was long at 1 PM, but moved fairly quickly. I was also concerned about parking, but there was a parking lot directly across from the Deli. Staff was attentive and quick, overall. Fire sandwich spot. We're visiting from California for new years and stumbled upon this place on Yelp since it was walkable from our hotel. We arrived around 12:30pm and there was a line out the door until 2pm, so definitely prepare for a wait. They have a good amount of indoor seating but it was so busy that we had no choice, but to sit outside. Luckily, it wasn't too cold. You order at the counter and the register workers puts a description of you on your receipt so that your waiter can find you. I got labeled big white scarf :D. Our orders came pretty quickly and we were solidly impressed with everything we chose. Starting with the classic Leven Biscuit (we asked for their apple jam and butter on the side). The biscuit was fluffy and the apple cinnamon jam was unique tasty. It's not the best biscuit I've ever had, but it's a solid 7.5/10. I believe you can order biscuits in bulk and jars of the jam prepackaged. The avocado toast I ordered came with some sliced tomatoes, pickled red onions and seasoning. Again, not the best avocado toast I've had, but the bread was extremely high quality and I'd have purchased a loaf if I wasn't flying home with an overweight bag that day. I think a little drizzle of olive oil or even some pepper flakes would have added the perfect last flavor layer to this dish. Finally, the breakfast sandwich was perfection. Truly no notes! The bread was the star, but a close second to the wonderful pastrami slices, cheddar, eggs and crunchy arugula and greens. My partners iced pumpkin spice latte was stellar as well. This place healed me after a night of drinking. Would I come back here? Absolutely. After a long morning spent at Meow Wolf Convergence, we were really hungry. I looked up places to eat and found this deli on Yelp. The interior is homey and inviting with beautiful hanging plants everywhere, lots of tables to dine at and even a bar in the corner serving up some delicious drinks.
