    Margarita

The margarita was watery and disappointing and the service left much to be desired but the views of the city and mountains over the golf course and the sweet potato fries saved the day. These sweet potato fries will live rent free in my head. We went without the kids but the laid back atmosphere with spread out tables would have made this a family friendly option to bring the kids.

best views in denver! decent food, full bar with 12 beers on draft, speedy service from really nice servers (although a little short staffed at times). the tuna melt is awesome, the mexican hamburger with green chile is my fave. grilled salmon and fish and chips are both excellent.

Stopped in for a drink and a view. Thursdays is their prime rib night...too bad I ate before coming. Drinks are strong yet reasonable and service is friendly and fast. Who could ask for more as you watch the sun set over downtown Denver?

City Park Grill @ the City Park Golf Course clubhouse The view from the patio alone is well worth a visit - you won't be disappointed. This is a great (kinda still 'secret') golf course patio restaurant. You can probably already guess most of the menu: Cobb salad, Caesar Salad, burgers, wraps, BLTs, French Dip. No surprises, other than the food is really good. The steak bits were outstanding. Full bar: beer, Arnold Palmers, John Dalys, etc. They could've used another server, but it was 82º & sunny on their patio today. I think this spot is going to become quite busy as more people make the discovery.

Very good BLAT with onion rings

This year Denver opened up the City Park Tavern at the new entrance to the City Park Golf Course on 23rd Ave across from one of the entrances to the Denver Zoo. The view from the restaurant alone is worth 5 stars. Truly a great place to watch the sunset over the City and the mountains. The only problem with that suggestion is that the place closes at 6 p.m. The good news however is that they say they're open all year round so bring a jacket for winter time sunset viewing (or just be boring and sit inside the all glass western-facing wall:). Today we sat outside and had good to very good sandwiches and sides. Mine a BLAT with onion rings was 3.5-4 stars as was my dining partner's chicken wrap with fries. Nice server who was a bit crushed by all the outside tables, but the place is definitely an option in that part of town these days and way better than the old snack bar / restaurant for the course that used to be at the corner of 26th and Josephine. Biggest plus = the incredible view and relaxed style of the spot. Downer for a business lunch that you have to drive to = the "relaxed style" of the spot. Sign me, David "FORE!" Walking distance from the Denver zoo. You can play a few rounds of golf then enjoy a drink by the greens. What a view.

Beautiful views, nice bar, good menu. I got the turkey reuben, my hubs got the burrito, both very tasty. Always love the option of sweet potato fries on the side. I was almost expecting more of a brunch menu on a sunday after golfing, it would be nice to add in a few breakfast-y items! Also, there are 6 tops in the dining area which is odd to me because most of the time golfing you are in a group of 4. I would also love to see a 9 and dine at the golf course paired with this restaurant!

For those of you who are unaware, City Park was completely redone over the last two years and is basically a new course. Well, right in the middle is the new clubhouse, which is home to the City Park Tavern. This is a terrific patio setting with views looking downtown. Man - How do you beat eating lunch after a nice morning of golf? This spot had a nice little brunch menu and the $10.95 Breakfast Burrito was absolutely HUGE. Lots of Green Chile sauce. Couple this with a Bloody Mary and it makes for a pleasant food coma. The rest of the breakfast menu seemed pretty standard. I saw Eggs Benedict... another brunch favorite. Pretty sure that they have a full bar. I saw plenty of beer being drank. I didn't have a chance to look at the lunch/dinner menu. It also looked like there was plenty of space inside for colder weather. Great addition to the Denver Golf scene. I could totally see coming even on a day I didn't golf.

I ordered a pesto mozzarella focaccia sandwich and added chicken, coconut ube latte and the tahini brownie. Initially I thought it was expensive but then I saw the portions! Lasted me two whole meals and was stuffed both times. Everything was DELISH and so fresh and the bread is made in house!! The coconut latte was also a surprise because usually restaurant coffees are meh, but it was VERY good. IF YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE ONE THING FROM THIS REVIEW LET IT BE THIS: GET THE TAHINI BROWNIE. I've never had anything like it- crunchy, soft, moist, DELICIOUS. And so worth every penny. Will absolutely be back this place is so cute and great for a casual breakfast or lunch

The service at the register was great; they were so helpful. I ordered the lamb kabobs. It came with 2 skewers, hummus, tzatziki, grilled lemon, a flat bread, pickles, a tomato and cucumber salad, and cabbage. It was plenty of food and it was so delicious. I would highly recommend getting this entree. For dessert, I got the snickerdoodle which had a nice taste but it's not the texture I like for that type of cookie. It was quite a thick cookie. As we were leaving, I got a baguette to go. I enjoyed eating it for a couple of days but there's something about it that's a little different though I can't quite put my finger on it.

Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but they use premium-quality ingredients that really set them apart. The bread on their sandwiches is fantastic, and they've recently started using beef tallow for their French fries, chicken sandwiches, and wings which takes the flavor to another level. They also offer gluten-free options, making it a great choice for everyone. It's a smaller establishment, so be patient if there's a wait it's 100% worth it. The customer service is beyond what I've experienced at some high-end restaurants. While waiting for my food, I got to witness the teamwork and communication between the kitchen staff and front counter crew. These guys were hustling, working efficiently, and clearly taking pride in what they do. It was genuinely impressive to watch. Whether you're stopping in with friends and family or grabbing a meal solo, the atmosphere is welcoming, the music is great, and the overall vibe is positive and upbeat. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you can thank me later! And whatever you do, don't leave without trying one of their homemade ice cream sandwiches!

The place is small and seemed perpetually busy, so it took a while to get our food. But, there are also lots of interesting things to look at, so it wasn't bad. And the staff was very friendly I ordered the South Carolina BBQ sandwich, and we split an enormous basket of sweet potato fries. We liked that there was frosting to dip them in. My sandwich was good and generous; I only ate half, which meant that I got to enjoy the other half at another time. At first, we were not very impressed with the fries, but we managed to eat them all, so I guess they actually were good!
