I went here as a go car wash member and was asked where was my go pass that I never received and the car in front of me did not get asked for a Gopez, but they did lift the gate up so he could go through. I tried calling this establishment five times no answer. I would not recommend this for a dog wash for a homeless dog. read more

The manager Daniel at this establishment is completely unreasonable as far weather conditions go or customer service. I purchased the Go big package with the 48 hour guarantee. As I explained to him once arriving off from work the day of expiration and it was raining quite bad on Halloween no cars were at the establishment & it looked close without a doubt. I figure coming as frequent as I do , explaining the situation the day after wouldn't be a problem. He advocated my only options were to repurchase another wash or sign up for a monthly subscription. Even given the circumstances , I had him take a look at the vehicle and the markings as he shrugged his shoulders and repeated my two options. This is where I take my big Ram 3500 to get washed. Does a good job when it's not so busy and they have everyone packed in there like sardines! It's a good idea to go when it's not that busy. We have the unlimited fast pass, we need to keep the pass on the lower left side of the windshield to catch there scanner. Any higher and it's not going to pick it up. They also provide vacuum cleaners to keep your vehicle clean and also have a station that sells air fresheners, stuff to clean the interior and tire shine. Oh and there's some cleaning buckets with brushes you can wipe some of the dirt and stuff off your vehicle before you pull it in. There's also a fast pass lane you can pull up to and get in quicker. read more

After over two years of regularly using this facility to maintain 3 cars, this place disappoints as they refuse to be accountable to their customers. Their machine ripped off part of my grill and bent up my hood. In return I received Nothing but canned form letters refusing to take any responsibility. They refused to provide their insurance information to either myself or my very reputable insurance company. On top of all of that I had to replace my credit cards after several attempts to cancel their services with continued charges for their service. They said the damage was not because of the "strips".  Since the damage occurred on the SECOND wash....NOT the first wash, they are just lying.  The second wash was done because the bird droppings were not removed the FIRST time. first let me say that I am a big fan of self-serve outlets. I have been to this car wash several times and was pleased that I could complete the transaction at the kiosk. The last time I went, there was an attendant hovering at the entry point. It was obvious that he was there to give verbal instruction to the customer. I went into sensory overload. I turned off the radio in the car. I even turned off the car engine, yet with the loud noise of the car wash in the background and the attendant chatter, I could not concentrate on the screen. I backed out of the entry point, parked the car and went over to talk with the attendant. He insisted that it was his job. I thought the whole idea of having a self serve kiosk was to save the labor costs. I went to another car wash location that day and doubt that I will return. I do not need someone looking over my shoulder and trying to up-sell their product. read more

We frequently go to Rio. Not bad for the price. It's now $4 for a simple wash, but the vacuum is no charge and that is worth it. A suggestions, If you have a pickup make sure you remove everything from the bed. We forgot and out went the trash bag of hunting boots and clothes. Great place if you only need 3/4 of your car cleaned. Rio's carwash did a great job on the front 3 quarters of my small crossover suv. Wish they'd have gotten the back though. It wasnt even touched by their brushes. I didnt expect anything fantastic, just a quick rinse and dry to get the winter salt off. But I would have thought a small crossover being a popular of a vehicle style, would have been an easy job for their machines. Rio, please advertise what services you really provide. I have been using Rio Massaponax location for several years now and overall am pleased. I have a monthly pass for the managers special which is the highest level wash available. My only complaint is that the wash does not get the back of my 2014 Ford Explorer clean. Other than that, very satisfied. read more

Car wash ripped antenna off the car. Blonde haired kid with a baseball cap was in office-we told him what happened he didn't say ONE single word...he went got the antenna handed it to me and left. This is the second incident I've had at this place. Your customer service is a joke. Took my Chevy Silverado in for car wash. Some kid comes to my truck with a wrench to remove my antenna. He lifted the plastic shield along windshield. I had just been in 2 days prior because pollen was so bad. The guy unscrewed the antenna with no problem. Then Saturday I go back and this is when this kid tried using a wrench. Weakling!! My radio worked fine. Now it doesn't. I get a call today to inform me that my claim was being denied by the main office. Yeah; their main office is right there on 17 at the car wash, where I left a lengthy message about my radio not working. So the assistant manager calls me to tell me that "unfortunately they are denying your claim". I filled out a claim form there at the car wash, they took pics etc etc. Just trying to act like they give a damn. So I made an appointment with my mechanic to fix the antenna/radio damage. You can deny my claim till hell freezes over. After my mechanic is done, I'll be going to small claims court. We'll see who's claim gets denied. Just like my truck; I can be mean as hell, and when I know I'm right will fight to the bloody end. Stay away from this place. They tear your vehicle up and then tell you they aren't paying for the damage. Shouldn't have messed with my antenna to begin with. But you will pay whatever bill my mechanic gives me. He was playing on his phone, not helping, said "ya think?", when we said it didn't work. Didn't apologize, didn't do anything to make me want to come back. I have 3 cars I maintain with your monthly managers special. I understand we are having to take precautions with this virus going around but to completely close the vacuum area is unacceptable. I'm at more risk going to Walmart or a grocery store than vacuuming my car next to someone else. Your providing less service and I'm not seeing a refund!!! Any of the washes that include their hot wax leaves a terrible sticky residue all over the vehicle. These tacky droplets attract dirt and pollen making the car get dirty faster! In two days it looks worse than it did before the wash. Talked to the manager and was told that not enough people have complained for them to do anything about it. Basic $4 wash is fine- nothing special, but does a decent job (unless you have a spoiler- doesn't wash under it!). read more

Something went very wrong inside the wash bay and the owner refuses to take responsibility for the damage. Your car will be SCRATCHED! I went to Rio car wash and my new truck was scratched during the wash. I filled out the damage claim inside the lobby and they told me that the owner would contact me to take care of the damage. I received a generic email stating that the damage was not caused at from the car wash (which is completely incorrect) I asked the owner to look at my truck in person and he refused. First, I made a mistake by purchasing a monthly package. I went to the car wash and the sticker they put on my windshield didn't work. The attendant had to run inside to do something to let me in. The truck in front of me had a trailer hitch attached and entered before me. The inattentive attendant got the truck on the tracks and then I was placed on the tracks. I placed my vehicle in neutral and let go of the steering wheel. As my vehicle entered the first set of blue cloths (I couldn't see the vehicle in front of me) I hear and feel a hard thud. My vehicle jerks back and then forward to another thud. The Rio Carwash personnel shut the wash off and I see the truck in front of me off of the track. They got the truck (with the trailer hitch) back on the track and tell me to move up. They started the wash again and I immediately parked after exiting the wash to look at my car. DAMAMGE!!!!! I look at my license plate which has a HUGE round (trailer hitch ball size) dent. I flex the license plate to see my bumper which also has the same damage. The car behind me had tapped my rear bumper but there was no damage. I went to find a supervisor who actually approached me and told me the other guy had drove off to the WAWA next door. The supervisor managed to get the other driver to come back to the wash and we both filled a claim form out and got our copy. I was told I would be contacted within 48 hours by the Rio Carwash person who handles claims. I received an email with 2 videos and a letter saying the driver a head of me was at fault and they would not take any responsibility for the incident. I reviewed the videos several times and saw nothing that would suggest the driver in front of my vehicle hit his brakes or any other errors. This was purely the car washes fault and they refuse to take any responsibility. I have attempted to contact Rio Carwash several times now with no response after I have requested their insurance information. Oh did I mention my car was purchased brand new less than a month ago?! They offered me 2 months free car washes because of the incident but that isn't going to fix the damage to my car. I want my car repaired and I have a sneaky suspicion that the guys insurance who was in front of me ( he opened a claim with progressive) won't be paying for the damage. I warn all of you who want to use this car wash; Do not use them. If anything happens in their establishment they will refuse responsibility even when there is no evidence the patrons are at fault. I can't believe the refusal from these people to acknowledge any responsibility. read more

I went with the "Super" $12 wash. I was surprise the vehicle came out as shiny as it did. The tires looked great. I was impressed by the 12 dryers at the end that dried 95% of the vehicle off. I thought it was brush-less, but it is not. read more

I've been coming here for years and have never had a problem. With a $3 car wash, limited people interaction and free vacuums, I enjoy coming here. Today started out normal, but when I was done with my wash, I pulled into the vacuum parking lot and all but three spots were taken. But when I tried to pull into any of the spaces, people had their doors open on both sides refusing to move. Also they were using the vacuums for the empty spaces. I finally found a space on the end, but the part that connects to the vacuum was broken. Then when I was vacuuming, I heard very loud music, it was a car with all the doors open playing rap saying cus words...I had my 9 year old son with me. So how about instead of paying a young girl to walk around and ask people if they're interested in the unlimited car wash package, pay someone to enforce things so that the customers don't have to confront eachother. read more

I used this car wash at least 5 or 6 times before they did all their upgrades and never had a problem. I loved it fast and convenient. Went to go and they were upgrading so decided to go after it was done. When I finally made it back there after the upgrade my truck was going through the was and I heard this noise. I was really hoping it did not damage the body of my truck. I pulled over to the vacuums and I am trying to keep my daughter and dog in the car and I was distracted and did not immediately see any noticeable damage. When I was going up the road I notice my antenna was leaning and never noticed that before. When I got to where I was going I checked it out and saw that my antenna was bent way out the body on my truck where the antenna is attached was dented and damaged paint chipped. I called the very next morning had to leave a message. I requested the insurance information in this message as well. No call back called the next day same thing requested the insurance information via voicemail again. I didn't get a call til days later to come in and fill out a form. I went in to fill it out and said I would get a call with 24-48 hours which I know is protocol. Friday I never receive a call I only receive an email with pictures and scanned letter from the general manager NOT the insurance company denying my claim. Saying that with the pictures of the signs saying they are not responsible for POWER antenna's and removable antennas. Neither one of those apply to my antenna as I responded back and made a 3rd request for insurance information. I was completely ignored. This is unethical and completely against insurance standards to not report a claim to their insurance company and to try and deny it themselves without taking the proper course of action. DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH!! They have no problem taking the payments for cars to be washed but when their wash causes damage to your vehicle they will avoid you like the plague! I hope the owner of these car washes knows what these so called "managers" are doing and what kind of situations they are putting the business in. read more

Last spring I went to this RIO location to get all the pollen washed off my car. I asked the attendant "how much it would cost for "the works" & was told it would be $21. Then, I was advised that I could join the "unlimited washes" club for $10 a month. So, it seemed like a great deal! I decided to join for 2 months. I stopped in a few times, timing the last visit to coincide w/ my 2 month membership. I asked when I went back for the last visit how to cancel & was advised to take off the magnetic strip that had been originally attached to my windshield, which I did right after that car wash. Two months later, I checked my e-mail & was shocked to find out that they had charged me $40! I contacted the Car Wash manager & was told that the best they could do was issue me a $40 gift card! I proposed they give me an extra 2 months of unlimited car washes, but they were not willing to work with me... read more

I just bought my Jeep Liberty a week and a half ago and took it to the 3 dollar car wash in Massaponax for its first wash. The car wash was rough but I thought nothing of it. I then got out to vacuum and noticed a large scuff on my driver side door. I then inspected the rest of my car and found multiple scratches on each panel! I wanted to cry my eyes out! The attendant came over and inspected the car as well and knew it was the car wash that did it. He had me file a claim and I received a response today stating that there was nothing they could do and that there car wash couldnt have done it. Look up their reviews on yahoo, in 2009 the same thing happened to someone else! Its actually eerily similar. I will be taking them to court if they do not agree to pay. read more
