This place is great. The staff are all really friendly, the beer is cold, the food is hot and served promptly. It can get busy about 6 pm, but otherwise, it's easy to get a table. Pro Tip: If you like beef, try the quesa birria tacos. They're not on the menu, but they are amazing!

It's a hit or a miss when you come here. Food is good but the staff can be rude sometimes.

I came here on 11/13/20 with my friend. We were sat around 6:30. We were sat fairly quickly after arriving. They are requiring masks are are enforcing social distancing by sitting at every other table. Staff were wearing masks. We got our drinks and chips and salsa pretty promptly. An appropriate amount of time passed before the waiter (whose name I don't know) took our order. A salad came with my order, which i barely touched. I ate the cheese and a few bites of lettuce. I ordered the steak and grilled chicken. It normally comes with grilled veggies and French fries. I opted to get steamed veggies for the sake of doing keto. The meats were good. I asked for medium well steak but it tasted/appeared well done. It was a little tough but it was fine. I ate it. No complaints with the grilled chicken. The veggies were very plain, lol. No seasoning at all. There was no salt or pepper on the table. The waiter never came back after taking the order... There was a guy going around refilling salsa though and that was done for my friend. My friend got the fajitas Texan nachos. This included chicken, shrimp, and steak. He stated it was good but only had 5 shrimps. Main reason for 3 stars is lack of service. We needed a box, refills, and the check but didn't get any of that. At the end when we were ready to go, we just got got up and went to the register ‍

Chicken was still pink, rice was mushy, and their salsa tasted like tomato paste and lime. Would not recommend to anybody!

Not that great, the food is kinda bland for Mexican food. Not a real good Mexican taste. I ate there once and I won't go back.

The service was great!…read more The amount of options, amazing. I ordered caldo de res and wasn't impressed. The broth wasn't flavorful, and I had one piece of corn, one piece of carrot, one potato, and one piece of zucchini. The potato was cooked thoroughly, but it was really grainy, had a horrible texture. Th zucchini was so overcooked, the only reason I knew it was zucchini was because I seen the skin floating in the soup, it was just a spoonful of mush at the bottom of my bowl. There wasn't much flavor to the soup at all, but plenty of meat. One of my favorite soups, but I wouldn't get it again at this restaurant. The dip had a wonderful flavor, but was the consistency of juice... couldn't pick it up with a chip. I poured some onto the chips but didn't do much good. When they brought out my rice, I poured what remained on top. My dates food was decent, but I forget what it was called. The drinks were good, but I didn't really feel the alcohol.

Should have read my previous review of this place b/c I ended up getting fajitas again (its usually my go-to). Ordered the fajitas pina, which was a huge pile of chicken, steak, and shrimp, topped with grilled pineapple. It was pretty good, but they overcooked most of it; maybe its because we had a big group. It's a huge portion and comes with all the fixings to make a great taco.

So I came back home this week from San Diego to visit the fam and eye balled this place last time I…read morewas home. Living in California now and being an Elite Yelper, I've explored a good amount of my authentic, mom n pop Mexican food. I asked my mom if she had tried this place and she said no. That was my cue to come on in and check it out! The restaurant and the store are both connected and I assume owned by the same people so after I placed my order for Quesabirria Tacos, I browsed the store to see what's good. In the store I found these fruits purée canned drinks (so good but hella sugar in them - which is fine too. Just don't say you weren't warned haha) and got like 4 different flavors (strawberry banana, guava nectar, and pineapple coconut). All delicious. Highly recommend. The service was good. The young ladies helped me pick out my drinks and were super sweet. Now, the quesabirria tacos...They're not the best but the meat was very tender and the price was very affordable so I don't feel like it was a waste. I would still go back and try other things. I feel there could have been more cheese and more flavor in the beef. My tortilla was also very soft/floppy. Like I said....I'd still come back and give them one more try!

But the last two time I went for lunch it was a major let down. The food is lacking seasoning and flavor it's just bland like they don't really care about how it taste . If you order off the menu stick to what you know even the meat is not as good anymore. On the other hand the chicharrones they make on the weekend are the best and my favorite highly recommend. And no this place does not offer chips and salsa it's not that kind of place
