I got a #2 Cheeseburger combo. It was very good!, very tasty. I know because I'm a mom and pop burger snob. It has onions and pickles and thousand. The meat is not chewy. I would get it a bit more cooked though. My coke was so good it had a lot of carbonation. The side thousand dressing is delicious! I peaked inside the ordering window and inside is very very clean and organized. I paid $13 total for the combo. It's a bit expensive , but worth the quality. The cashier woman has great customer service. I would recommend that you order drive thru bc its kinda ghetto outside with the smoke shop next door. 5 stars of not for the price. I recommend!

For what I was looking for, I'll keep coming back to see what else I might like. The counter guy has great customer service. Supporting the local business.

My gram loves Rio's Burgers! We stopped by here after I picked her up from the airport on the way to her house. I had the bacon burger with cheese I also added fries and a soda. The burger was tasty with fresh ingredients and the fries were perfectly salted...I will definitely be back! Note: They make every burger cooked to order so it takes a bit longer to wait for your meal as compared to a fast food restaurant. You can utilize the drive through or walk up to the window to order.

Burgers and fries are great except their club sandwiches. Disappointed with the turkey meat and skimpy on the bacon..

There's a down home, country feel to the 49'er Saloon subtly referring to the California gold rush days of yore. Looks like an ideal place for bikers and horse riders. Hearty grub with hints of traditional regional American cuisine and full bar where you will not leave hungry. There's a formal dining room for larger gatherings for families and friends. Great place to eat after scrambling around Vasquez Rocks, visiting Animal Tracks, or just hungry on CA 14 frwy. Just get off the Crown Valley offramp and head due south for about a mile. 1) Wild Game Sausage: Walk On The Wild Side With Jalapeño-Cheddar Stuffed Elk With Roasted Peppers & Onions. Big portion enough for 2 meals since the Elk sausage is so rich. Elk sausage is ground fine and stuffed tightly in the casing for dense, firm texture. You're getting your money's worth. The Jalapeño has a nice, warm piquancy while the Cheddar gives a dairy fermented undertone. The julienned red and green bellpeppers are pleasantly al dente; the onions are caramelized to bring out their sweetness. It's all sautéed in an agrodolce/sweet-sour sauce along with a touch of garlic. 1a) Side dish: Nice little garden salad including green lettuce, diced purple onion, chopped tomato, grated carrot. Chose blue cheese dressing to use for the "Buffalo Burger". 2) "Buffalo Burger" is extra finely ground, plush, velvety Bison meat. So when I ordered it medium rare, the patty turned out mushy. Next time, I will order it medium to firm up and give more of a chaw to the meat. Opted for two slices of not too crispy, meaty bacon. Mayo, tomato, green lettuce leaf, grilled onions, cheddar cheese, dense brioche bun. I spread on the blue cheese dressing to give a little funk to what I thought would be the blood minerality of the Bison meat. It's another substantial dish. 2a) Side dish of standard French fries which was crisp as requested although it didn't quite have that ineffable earthy, mildly sweet, potato flavour 1-2a) Allegiance India Pale Ale, Lancaster CA was a good counter to both food items. Dry, heavy bodied, fruity with scents of orange zest, lacquer, touch of cleansing acidity. 49'er doesn't leave you hungry so didn't have enough room for dessert. I took the Elk sausage home and made sandwiches for two meals. So eating at the 49'er isn't as expensive due to the big portions. 4 stars

Two ladies asked me at two different times if I was there for an online pick up. Two different times I gave them my order number and said I had ordered from their kiosk. After many people had come and gone with their orders, a third person asked me about my order. I said I ordered from the kiosk and here is my receipt... Hold up the receipt and showed them. Then I was asked specifically what did I order, even though they were looking at my detailed receipt. I told them and they started on the order. My order was with no caramelized onions. The order was thrown together and thrown into the box, with caramelized onions. I just basically took the bag and left. That was 12:31 PM. The presentation due to their hurried attempts to include my order, was also a disaster. First and likely last visit.

The burger patties are rubbery and chewy and are seemingly frozen. It almost seems like they have binders and fillers in the meat because it just does not taste like ground beef. They basically are on par with the frozen beef patties you can buy at the supermarket. They call it a char burger, but what char? They are literally flavorless patties. The guacamole that they put on the Santa Barbara char burger tastes terrible and is not fresh at all. I'm tired of coming here and always being let down... the glory days of the habit when it was limited to only a few locations in Ventura and Santa Barbara is long gone. The owners sold out and what we have now is a hollow shell of what once was a truly great burger spot. Never again.

I asked for BBQ sauce. No sauce, but lots of coleslaw. Yuck!!! The bread is burnt. Would the cook eat that? NO!
