Sandwich is similar to this picture made on long, thin, sliced, sourdough bread with quality ingredients.

A favorite here is a sandwich that looks similar to this picture: Fig & Brie sandwich on a long, thin, sliced sourdough roll ADD ham. This little shop also offers pastries, etc. Occasionally, I've seen discounted pricing on Saturday. Loaves Menu: Seasonal Selection Bacon, Scallion, Parmesan and Onion Rye are the current Saturday specialty loaves. Stop by for our weekly specialty loaves: Tuesday - Cinnamon Raisin Swirl/Ciabatta Wednesday - Multigrain Thursday - Seeded Rye/Ciabatta Friday - Challah Saturday - 100% Carolina Ground whole wheat

Totally impressed with the pastries we selected for dine in. Seating availabe along the wall and window. Tried the morning bun and guava and cheese pastry. Very good. Definitely butter rich. Park in shopping center across street if no street spots available.

The best smell on the planet is here! Fast friendly service! Delicious pastries. I could eat here everyday!

Cute lil bakery offering everything from a danish to cinnamon roll to breakfast sammy to homemade cheeses n butter! Oh and the have a full coffe n tea bar with in house made syrups including ear grey or juniper syrup! The latte I ordered was perfect creamy with little foam as requested and hot enough that I could zip on it for a bit to enjoy! It's located in an artsy area of west Greenville that seems to be going through a transition of some sort! The cherry cream danish was excellent- real cherries not that yucky compote stuff and real vanilla cream and just enough sweet to enjoy but not nauseating artificial sweet! When we return to Greenville we shall definitely stop again!

RISE is the best fucking bakery I've ever been to. Some of the best coffee, pastries, BREAD, and people. Every employee there treats you with immense respect and care, they truly want what's best for you. They make sure you get what you came in for; whatever is gonna make your mouth buds tingle, lips twitch, and will fill that void inside your tummy. And if you came in to find that something is out-of-stock, then the team is sure to find a substitute. The seasonal items just get better and better, where I'm left wanting to write a strongly worded email to the owner to keep them year-round, but I never hit "send" because I know something great is right around the corner (still debating sending one about the matcha cookie... make it year round man that SHIT WAS FIREEEEEEUH). I want to say Rise should be more popular, but I'm selfish and want it all to myself. Rise is hands down the coolest place I visit, one of the few places I regularly do. Hell, I'm writing this review drinking an insane Maple Cinnamon Hot Coffee and chasing it with a juicy cardamom bun. Outside of the food and drinks they sell, the building and location is supreme. The shirts, stickers, and bags are all top-shelf and if I were rich I'd buy them all. They decorate for the seasons and make everyone feel warm and welcome. With all the change that's happening in the world and life, it's nice to know you can walk through those front doors and always know what to expect; a bakery that treats you like family.

This place doesn't disappoint. I had forgotten they change the menu 3 times a day based on the fresh ingredients they have on hand. This day they had a brisket sandwich with fries, which I substituted for a delicious garden salad. You really can't go wrong.

We were seated on the terrace by the door, which was less than desirable but still good. The chair I was in was awfully uncomfortable, but the benches were suitable. For food, we ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts, Earl Grey tea bread, chicken tamales, berry French toast, mushroom bruschetta and fried oysters. The Brussels were good and perfectly cooked. The Earl Grey tea bread was good, but too sweet for me (not a sweets person). My friends ordered the chicken tamales and berry French toast, respectively, and enjoyed their meal. For me, the menu didn't have anything that caught my eye, so I made a meal of the small plates. I love mushrooms, but I felt that the mushrooms in the bruschetta needed to be chopped. Their meaty texture and large pieces made it less than desirable, even though the flavor was good. The oysters were well-cooked and served in an ample portion, but with cocktail sauce rather than aioli. When asked, she brought me the paprika aioli that's on the Brussels sprouts. Still, I think a lemon-and-herb aioli or a lemon-and-horseradish aioli would have been more appropriate for a fresh brightness to cut through the breading. It was almost a good meal, but oftentimes the devil is in the details.

I was hungry and didn't know what or where to eat, not like there is a lack of options, but did I want ramen or something more local in regional flare? I picked the second one. I ended up at Tupelo Honey because fresh southern fried chicken sounded amazing and this place wasn't going to break the bank. I guess this place is a chain but I didn't know this until I was eating. The staff were beyond friendly and attentive and they answered all of my questions about the food. The restaurant was super clean. I ended up ordering the half bird with original seasoning on it. The seasoning the put on it is a crystallized honey power and something else in it, it gives the chicken a nice sweet flavor but not overpowering. They also have a spicy version for you spice lovers. The half bird came with 4 pieces as one would expect, the crust was crispy and the chicken was awesome. I was eating the dark meat and couldn't get over how juicy it was. The real test as you all know is the breast, is that going to be dry? Nope, it was so moist and flavorful, it was a home run. I guess they brine their chicken for some good amount of time and it shows. My sides though I wish I would have gotten more adventurous, the meal came with two sides so I got a salad and the fried potatoes as a recommendation from the waitress. They were good but the mac n cheese looked better. Overall this place is great and I would go again. It's right downtown and the service was fast and friendly. Great place for some fried chicken .

We were there on a Saturday night and people were everywhere. But once we stepped into the lobby there was a lovely piano bar . This hotel has a calm, refined feel to it. The bellman met us at the door, took our bags upstairs and even walked around to show us where to park. The only downside for me was that our room was just a little bit elevated from the street so we could hear a lot of the Saturday night fun that was going on. If you would prefer not to hear the street sounds you may want to request a room on a higher floor.

The property was very impressively decorated for Christmas!! I loved how the large, two story Christmas Tree was in the main lobby and extended to the mezzanine level and they decorated it so very nicely! I also noticed the garland inside and wreaths outside. The whole property was nicely kept up to shape as well, so regardless of seasonal décor, I'm sure it's a beautiful place any time of year! This property has a restaurant onsite, Spoon Bread is what it's called. They also have the Piano Lounge. The Piano Lounge has a bar, which is a nice (and clearly popular) place to hang out and meet prior to leaving the property for dinner. Also a nice place to gather for that after dinner night cap with co-workers. Sleep quality was decent. HVAC in the room was nice and quiet... the worst part of the room was the bathroom, which I hated because you can't open the door and use the shower, because the door opens into the tub. They need to replace the door with barn style or pocket doors, like other properties have. Only other issue was the valet. I tipped a dollar on one drop off one day and the valet gave it back. I've never had that happen before. So, a dollar isn't enough and you prefer nothing at all? Noted! Overall, the stay was nice, but next time I'm in town, I'll try the AC across the street - It's looked way more festive outside and it's worth a try.

The local peaches inside taste so sweet (like a southern summer peach should!) it was not too sweet. The gelato was a wonderful enhancement.
