This place is really good. I tried a Packzi pastry. It's fried but airy and sweet at the same time. I also tried the cheese pastry. The flavor was phenomenal.

So glad I found this little Polish gem here in Utah! It's a cozy store with a decent selection of Polish kitchen basics, everything from pickles and pierogi to jams and seasoning packets. I've been here twice now specifically for their pączki, and both times they did not disappoint. The rose-filled ones are especially delicious, perfectly fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. Efficient service too. If you're craving a taste of Poland or just want to try something new, definitely stop by!

    Paczki Day!

Stumbled upon this Polish bakery and grocery looking for paczkis. I'm so thankful I did! The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store was clean and neat. They carry many Polish items, including baked goods, kielbasa, pierogies, seasonings, pickled veggies and more. In addition to paczkis, I brought home pierogies and kielbasa. I'm looking forward to going back!

Cute little Polish restaurant and market in West Jordan. It's very clean and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have baked goods but also savory dishes.

    Amazing Paczki with assorted fillings!

Disclaimer: I haven't been to the physical store but one of my Polish colleagues brought these amazing goodies into the office, Paczki ( pronounced like ponchik). Essentially like filled donuts. And this of the Year in Feb for "Fat Thursday", I'm told they have more flavors. The black current filled one was surprising amazing. The breading has a slightly different and pleasant flavor than the traditional donut. I will definitely stop by the store in the future. Try the Paczki, especially this time of the year!

So good! We got a pierogi pizza and paczki. They had 4 flavors available that day, rose, cream, plum and black currant. The plum was my favorite, my daughter loved the rose and the husband liked the black currant. So, overall everyone was pleased! The service was quick and very friendly. We chatted with the employees for a little and they were super nice. The inside is awesome! So many yummy polish things to try. We got some juice and chocolate. I will definitely be back!!

Golabki Plate - Also includes a roll and delicious pickled vegetables.

I was unsure how to rate this restaurant because there were parts of my meal I absolutely loved, and also parts I didn't. Lets start with the good. The Paczki is AMAZING. Soft, fluffy, and fresh! I purchased a cream filled one. I want to try the jelly filled ones as well. So good. I will go to RISE just to purchase these moving forward! You have to try them! The Golabki Plate, however, left a lot to be desired. Overall it was bland. I found that it lacked flavor and moisture. Everything needed more salt. The mashed potatoes were dry and crumbly. The carrot, onion, and apple mix was ok. You could taste the caraway, but it lacked salt as well. The cabbage rolls could have used a sauce. They were dense and dry. The saving grace was the pickled veggies that they included on the side in a small cup. They were perfect! So flavorful and delicious. I wish I had gotten more than a small cup of it! I ate it on top of my cabbage rolls and it made them more palatable. I REALLY wanted to like this because I always like to support small businesses. This was a miss for me though.

Last week Mrs Lacey talked about this place being open and awesome and just had to visit. Put in a large order over the phone and 40 minutes later picked it up. Didn't get to take enough pictures of the food, we all went to Liberty Park and ran out of room to put the food on the table. My favorites were the dill pickle soup, the bacon & onion pierogis, the cabbage rolls, the Polish street pizza, Paczki (filled donuts), and Kolacky cookies. They had some awesome weird candies in the store with no English label on the them. The owner was very knowledgeable and was able to explain in great detail how the food was prepared. Can't wait to go back!

This place is awesome. Loved the cheese pastry, variety of selections and staff. The Chicago Dog is nothing to frown at either! Hard to find in this city.

My parents in West Jordan. I like to get them treats on occasion. Getting a good product, you never see and getting it to them at the right time has been the challenge. This latest occasion was for Father's Day 2023. I looked up some local bakeries on google that I hoped could deliver in time and had good reviews. I didn't know what to expect when I got in touch with the Flour Box Bakery. It was after hours when I sent a message on their website, expecting to be contacted the next day. I received a message from Gienie (pronounced Jenny if I'm not mistaken) at 9:42 PM that night. We texted and agreed Friday at 9AM to talk. As agreed, she called me on time. Of course, as timing goes, I wasn't available to talk. She texted me again to follow up. We texted and talked and all of it was smooth and helpful. Initially I was looking for delivery but upon ordering I had a change of plans. I bounced back and forth between pickup and delivery a few times. Gienie was amazing and patient with her accommodations. Not only did she take care of what I needed, she gave great advice. She texted me when the baking was completed and another when it was delivered. She also threw in a few favorites as "extras" at no charge, which was not necessary but appreciated. I didn't get to personally taste the product being in Idaho. I did confirm with my parents, Aunt, Uncle, Brother and Sister who all gave rave reviews on the baked goods. I look forward to trying other products and will be ordering more on my next trip to visit. Thank you Gienie.

The owner is always a delight and anything new I have tried here has not let me down. Which is why I had to add my last experience sampling what may sound not appealing at all. I noticed on one visit that a family had come in and bought up all of a certain menu item. When I visited another time I saw there were a few of those items on display and I decided to try one for myself. It was called Taro Mochi Dried Meat Floss Cake. It sounds like it wouldn't work, but to my surprise I quite enjoyed it. Semi-sweet cream filling and chewy fresh mochi sandwiched between light and fluffy sponge cake then rolled in a dried meat floss and what looked to be nori. The smell was a little pungent, but I always try something once. I never know what I may like until I've tried it and this is definitely a "Don't Yuck My Yum" situation. (Shoutout @doobydobap) I hope this local spot gets all the love because the husband and wife business owners are doing great things here!!

The selection is massive, and everything looks fresh and inviting. We tried their tres leches cake and caramel pudding cake, and both were absolutely delicious. The tres leches was moist and rich without being overly sweet, and the caramel pudding cake had a silky texture with just the right amount of sweetness. We also sampled a few other baked goods, and everything we tried was solid--clearly made with care. One thing that could improve the experience for first-time visitors is labeling. None of the items are named or described, so unless you're already familiar with traditional Mexican pastries, it can be a bit of a guessing game. It would be really helpful if they labeled each item or provided a menu guide. That said, if you're open to a little adventure--or already know your conchas from your cuernitos--this place is definitely worth visiting. I'll be back to try even more from their incredible selection.
