    Fresh cup of coffee

I am a regular here at Rise Cafe and enjoy the convenience of walking across the street for good food and customer service. As always, I am glad to see Rise Cafe with a full house. That's definitely a sign that the food is not sitting and is fresh. The staff is always friendly and accommodating with a smile. Today, we enjoyed the pleasure of eating out on the patio because it was a nice day. Another good experience.

Great breakfast spot Came in late morning on a weekday so it was quiet. The people were nice and the service was very good the food was great. GF got a bacon and egg breakfast sandwich that was very good. I got the Junkyard bowl all the way which was incredible. The iced coffee was fresh and very nice flavor.

Average. Not bad but nothing special. There are so many good breakfast spots around the area that this one did not stand out. Note: there are only about 8 tables inside. So get there early or plan on a wait. It's teeny in there! All the girls I interacted with from my carryout order were very nice :)

    Junkyard bowl - rubbery eggs

On a recent breakfast outing, my wife and I wanted to give them a try. Their eggs Benedict were just OK and the hollandaise sauce is more like pure butter without any acid. We also had junkyard (or something to that effect bowl) and it was just OK. The eggs both for the Benedict and the bowl were very rubbery for some reason. The atmosphere is outstanding, the service was excellent, but the food was just mediocre and for the prices, it was really expensive. There are lots of other breakfast places that offer superior quality food for the cost (or less expensive). Willing to give them one more try but not anytime soon. To those about to dine, we salute you!

3.5 stars, rounding up, because Rise only uses pasture-raised eggs. My husband and I visited The Egg at this location a couple of times before the change in ownership to Rise Cafe, but everything with the transition was seamless. The menu is the same, except Rise has higher prices. We've visited here a few times since the change in ownership, and they are consistent. Rise has a small dining room, but since we eat earlier than most, we've never had trouble getting a table inside. I like the mixed grill omelette, which is an American cheese omelet with diced ham, bacon, and sausage. This omelette is FULL of meat, but the cheese is a bit sparse. I learned that cheddar can be used in place of American, so I'll ask for that the next time. I like their hash browns, especially since you can get shredded cheddar as a topping, or add onions and peppers. You also get toast, and I prefer their sourdough. (Note: They pre-butter the toast.) My husband likes their corned beef hash with over-medium eggs. While not a huge portion of corned beef, you can tell it's house-made, and it's delicious. He gets their homefries--served in soft cubes--which can be spruced up with cheese, onions, and peppers. Their English muffins are really good, too. I have to mention that this is the ONLY restaurant I know of that uses pasture-raised eggs from Vital Farms. The proof is in the beautifully orange yolks. We only use pasture-raised eggs at home, and appreciate that Rise serves only the best eggs. Service is friendly, and their food is freshly-made, so you may have to wait a few minutes before getting your food. But it's never been too long. The coffee is hot, but weak (in my opinion). I really prefer my brew to be stronger, and since the owner shared that they have espresso, I'll add a shot of espresso the next time. We will return!

The food is always good. The waitress was friendly and offered some recommendations. The ambiance is a basic Cafe that is clean. We enjoy going there on the weekends

First time trying Rise on Mother's Day and it was a decent experience. We were seated quickly but had to wait a while for our food. Inside is small but there is also outdoor seating. We ordered the Iced Chai Tea Lattes, the Fried Green Tomato Bene with Hashbrowns, and the Junkyard. The Chai was pretty good but it comes with a ton of ice so it was watered down quickly. The Fried Green Tomato Bene was really good, but the hashbrowns were salty. They also gave out tasty mini deserts for Mother's Day. After getting our bill we were gifted a $5 off coupon for our next visit which was nice. Overall it was a good experience and I would visit Rise again.

We visited Rise for breakfast last weekend on the recommendation of my kids who said it was so yummy...and they were right! We arrived around 10 am, and of course, the place was packed. We opted to sit outside, and it was very windy. I can see that being a pleasant place to dine when the day is gorgeous. Because we were chilled, we ordered steaming cups of hot cocoa. What a decadent treat that was! So full of punchy chocolate creamy goodness! Our meals were delicious too. I had eggs, hashbrowns, ham and biscuits with gravy. Really yummy, but it was a lot of food, but I was able to share. We also tried pancakes, which were fantastic as well. Service was attentive and kind. My only complaint was the music they play. I always feel vaguely uncomfortable when religious music is playing. It is of course, their prerogative, but it seems like you might want to be a little more inclusive in 2024. Not uncomfortable enough to keep me from going back, mind you.

After riding around trying to find a brunch spot on Mother's Day that did not have a 2 hour wait, we stumbled upon Rise Cafe. It's a cute little quaint spot. There is ample seating outside, a bar that seats around 7 and several tables inside against the wall. It would be hard to sit a large group of more than 5 or 6. We walked in and were immediately greeted. There was about a 10 minute wait for a table and we were promptly seated in about 10 mins. The ambiance was casual and artsy with a nice variety of Christian music playing in the background. We ordered the iced Chai Latte. It was good but had extremely too much ice. I'm not a fast drinker and like to drink along with my food. By the time our food came out the chai was watered down. It did take a while for the food to come out, we weren't in a rush, so that didn't matter much. I ordered the Junkyard with a pancake instead of toast. It's a bowl with hasbrowns, ham, sausage, salsa, mushrooms and gravy. It was nice and heat hot. This was actually a good combination, but the hasbrowns were extremely salty, and made it hard to enjoy. The pancake was in the shape of a heart, great touch, but it was cold to the touch. The butter would not melt. I would suggest keeping the pancake under a heat lamp until the entire dish is ready. For mothers Day, there was a complimentary homemade chocolate rose, filled with lemon custard, and raspberry sauce dessert and a $5 coupon for our next visit. Delicious! 10/10. That should be an option on the menu. Overall, the staff was friendly and checked on us a couple times. There are a ton of other menu items, if I were to return, I would try other options.

This is a conveniently located, quaint breakfast spot. While the inside is cozy there is outdoor seating. The service and timing were amazing! Our sever Fabiola was so sweet and had our order correct from start to finish. I ordered a veggie/western omelette with hashbrowns and subbed French toast. We finished with the Ultimate hot chocolate- I was literally licking the cup lol. I love that there were vegetarian options, the playlist was popping lol and you could honestly feel the love there.

Back again to enjoy the wonderful food prepared here. Instead of breakfast we tried their Lunch menu. They did not disappoint, their hot dog was delicious!

Great service. Food came out quickly and hot. We got the pecan waffle with bacon and the Junkyard. Lots of parking available in plaza.

Fresh Egg - Where Diets Go to Die (Happily)…read more Our group of 4 1/2 (yes, somebody only ate half their plate because self-control showed up late ) walked into Fresh Egg thinking we were just grabbing breakfast... and walked out needing a nap and a moment of silence. Let's talk FOOD. That omelet? Fluffy like it trained at egg boot camp. Stuffed with sausage, ham, bacon, cheese basically the Avengers of breakfast. The home fries were crispy golden cubes of perfection. Not soggy. Not greasy. Just straight-up breakfast excellence. The ham slices were thick and flavorful like they meant business. That biscuit sandwich? Soft, buttery, and holding everything together like a breakfast superhero. And those cheesy grits? Creamy enough to make you emotional. Add melted cheddar and it's basically Southern comfort in a bowl. Portions? Generous. Flavor? Elite. Coffee? Flowing like we were at a caffeine convention. Now let's talk about Jonathan Jonathan delivered AMAZING service. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, and on top of everything like a breakfast conductor running a delicious orchestra. Drinks stayed filled, food came out hot, and he made sure our whole crew felt taken care of. That kind of service turns a good meal into a great experience. The vibe inside? Busy, lively, happy breakfast energy everywhere. You can tell this is a spot people return to again and again. Final verdict: We came hungry. We left full. We left smiling. And yes... we'll be back. Fresh Egg you cracked the code.

This spot delivers exactly what it promises, making it a reliable choice for the area. To start, the coffee was great--hot, fresh, and strong. For my main dish, I opted for a Western omelette. It was perfectly fine, a solid choice, if not spectacular. My husband had the egg, bacon, cheese breakfast sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason I'm docking a star is for the side of corn muffins I ordered. They were, unfortunately, a complete letdown. They were hard, dry, and truly tasted like small stones. Even piling on the soft, fresh butter couldn't save them. However, the excellent service and the positive experience with the main dishes and coffee easily outweigh one bad side item. We had a good meal overall, and I would definitely go back again (and just skip the corn muffins next time!).

There are many great options to choose from especially if you want to go the healthy route. There are pancakes, waffles, etc on the menu too. The portions are good since you get sides depending on your meal choice. The place has a nice farmhouse cafe vibe with wood tables and spacing is good. Now the bad: There were mugs already on the table which I do not care for, because I'm not sure they take them away for each table. I wanted hot tea, but when I looked in, it was dirty. The other mug was clean so that was the one I used. I got my hot water, tea bags, cream and honey packets to make my tea, but I don't get a spoon. I'm not sure why they don't give teaspoons, but when I asked for a spoon, I got a large soup spoon. Not sure about this. We placed our orders and everything came out fine, except when I started eating my bowl of fruit side, all the grapes were brown on top. Seems like something noticeable that is not as fresh to serve to a customer. Disappointed with this too. Another thing to mention, we had to ask for water refills. Then when someone brought over a refill they brought a carafe. Why not start out with the carafe? Server waits until end of meal to bring it, then brings another glass afterwards with water too. A lot of these issues seem to be training and management of the restaurant. I have been to other locations with better service. So, overall, food was good. I got the frittata and my daughter got the braised beef breakfast tacos. But, if there weren't so many silly issues, I think I could rate this location higher. 3 stars

So, no waiting for a refill. I also got two pastries to go-- both were spectacular. Sweet in a savory and memorable way, rather than being over-the-top and masking fake-y ingredients with sugar like many places do. The bakers do a wonderful job. It's absolutely beautiful inside--warm, cozy, and intimate in a way that makes you feel like you've stepped into a little escape Perfect for a date night or a relaxed evening out. We were seated pretty quickly, which is always a great start. Our server, Ashlene, was an absolute gem Her sweet personality and warm smile made the whole experience even better. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave some really great recommendations (we love a server who knows their stuff ). We kicked things off with drinks I had the spiced cherry mule, and my husband ordered a margarita--both were genuinely delicious and well-made. For starters, we shared the artisan bread (perfectly done, soft with just the right texture ) and a shrimp cocktail. The only tiny note: the cocktail sauce was a little on the bitter/strong side, so just go easy with it When it came time for the main course, my husband kept it light, but I went with Ashlene's recommendation--the Cajun chicken pasta--and WOW They make their pasta fresh (HELLO YES ), and it was flavorful, creamy, and not dry at all. To wrap things up, we shared the Budino for dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending. We both loved it. Overall, such a great experience from start to finish. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and standout service--definitely a spot we'll be coming back to

He heard good reviews so i figured he knows me well, so why not. As soon as I went in, I was greeted and seated. The menu looked great but I was stuck between 2 items. The waitress encouraged me to get both and even substituted my pancakes. Everything tasted great and it took no time for me to receive my order. The Caramel Apple Crisp Pancakes were amazing, even though I should have asked for syrup, it was great without it. I also tried the Coastal Crab Cake Benny with grits and I was full right after. The ambience reminded me of home, everyone appeared to talk with everyone, it wasn't loud, the waiters and waitresses were speaking to customers like they knew them for years. I will definitely return and try some other items, but I definitely recommend anyone to go!

Welcome to the Serve, the Cornelius answer to how to be active while enjoying good times with friends. Reserve one of their 10 pickleball court in their air conditioned room or grab one outside when it's not hot. There are also golf simulators, dining space, and event space so bring the whole crew to have fun and hang out. The courts are spaced out so groups can play and have a comfortable booth to sit and order food. Their bartender Krista was very engaging and happy to suggest a beverage with your favorite libation. We ate in the restaurant. My son enjoyed the kids chicken tenders. My wife and I enjoyed the short ribs grilled cheese and the bbq chicken pizza. There's a full breakfast and lunch menu and breakfast is available till 2 on Saturday so you have a variety of options to order. If you want to hang out as a family or with friends you'll have a great time at The Serve.

This was our first time here, and it's a very nice venue. To start, their coffee is delicious and strong. I had the Double Up, with scrambled eggs (with added cheddar), bacon, sausage links, sourdough toast, and fruit. My husband had the Short Rib Hash with a side of potatoes. He forgot the hash also had potatoes, and should have gotten something else, because he had far too many potatoes! My scrambled eggs were a little over cooked and the cheese was only melted on top (rather than being mixed in), but they were still decent. The bacon was perfectly crispy--as requested, and the sausage links were fine. The sourdough toast was buttered and delicious. And the fruit had watermelon--a nice addition to the usual fruit cup. My husband's short rib hash was good. The eggs were perfectly medium, but the potatoes were a bit salty. Easy Like Sunday still makes our favorite version of this dish. Our server was very pleasant, and the wait wasn't too long for our food. I loved that we could pay with ApplePay via the Toast handheld. While everything wasn't perfect, we'll definitely return and try some different items. I want to try them for dinner, too!
