Fast and very helpful staff being that this was my first visit. I had the whole wheat Margherita pizza. It took no time for it to get fixed and cooked. Very good pizza. I like every component of Rise Pies pizza, and that's saying something. Pizza is one of those things that even when it's bad it's good, but Rise Pies puts care into every detail of their pizza which makes it exceed expectations. Their crust is thin and cracker-like, in a good way. It's not bland either, it's got a buttery or olive-oily flavor and gets nice and toasted in their oven. Despite it's distinct cracker-like texture and flavor, it's also got a satisfying chew. The sauces are very good, my favorite is pesto by far but the regular plum tomato and diavolo (spicy tomato) are good too. As a big fan of pesto, I think Rise Pies has really nailed theirs. It's so flavorful and savory, without taking away from the other ingredients. I order it every time and I've converted several other people over from the tomato sauces. It's just too good. They have a great selection of cheeses, which was something I didn't know I really needed in pizza. I was always happy with shredded mozzarella but now I am a big fan of their whole chunks of mozzarella, which melt perfectly on top of the pizza and give you big bites of creamy, milky cheese which are sooo delicious. Ricotta is also surprisingly good on pizza, it's nice and sweet, soft, and creamy. :) Lastly, their ingredients are pretty stellar. I'm a stickler for just pepperoni on my pizza, and theirs delivers. My husband often gets "the works" though, and he likes many of their ingredients. Some of his favorites are prosciutto and the hot peppers in oil. And that's just the pizza, the service and atmosphere only add to the experience. Whether I dine-in or order to go, the staff is always quick, friendly, and accommodating. The owner has gotten to know our family and always greets us and pretty much knows what we like to order by now. The place is always really clean and organized, too. They have 2 Coke Freestyles as well, for people who like them. They also serve beer and wine. Also, the meatballs are really good too. Anyways, it's very good! Wow this is a chain? This is my first visit here and just know that I love me a pizza made as big as humanly possible. Rise pies are not big pizzas in fact their only flaw may be they sell just personal size pizzas. Rise pies are charcoal cooked VERY QUICKLY and for my money very correctly. The ingredients were super fresh and unbelievably varied. The hot oil peppers were great. I have only been here once so I can't make the proclamation I would like to which is that Rise pies has the best pizza in Savannah. (Savannah is a pizza desert by the way) read more

Pizza is great! But the gluten free crust taste a bit like cardboard. Sauce is yummy and the ingredients fresh. Just work on that gluten free crust recipe. Also....the staff was friendly and courteous. I saw 6 behind the counter. Other improvements needed: The staff needs to wipe tables. Couldn't find a clean table in the place...had to get napkins to clean myself. Bathroom did not have soap to wash hands. The big thing about the pizza is that it cooks in like 60 or 90 seconds. Create your own salads and a homemade meatball. No pasta, but they have a meatball. It wasn't busy at the time we came in. I was using a walker. I came through the door and was met with a line strap barricade. They want you to walk a long line. No. Forget it. Not happening. My husband ordered for me. Only way to know the toppings is to read a menu, which you can also use on your salad. I asked my husband to get me a side salad. I didn't know it was create your own. I had to get up to see the toppings. My husband moved the strap barricade so I could get through. I ordered a sweet tea. It was so weak. I told him to dump it out and get me a Pepsi. They have the new dangled machines with the touch screen. Ok. He ordered our pizza. He's a pizzaholic. It was just "Meh." Mine was too. The music they were playing for the 30,40 and 50 year olds was Rap. We asked them to change the channel. They did, begrudgingly, and the new music was not much better. Totally not worth the money!!!! We had one pizza which was the size of Subway's pizza for $10. Two drinks were $5. A side salad was $4. Totally $20.29. Located near the lighthouse at Tanger outlets, my mom, aunt and myself shared a big ed pizza, side salad and meatballs. The big ed pizza is unlimited toppings. Our pizza started in this order California Plum Tomato, Shredded Mozzarella, Fresh Mozzarella, Oregano, Spinach, Chopped Garlic, Pepperoni, Bacon,and Mushrooms. Usually their pies are meant for one person but between the three of us it was the perfect portion, and the side salad and side meatballs were also a good size. As for taste everything was delicious. The pizza was not too thin crust and the ingredients were all well spaced out. The meatballs alone in its sauce I chose ricotta cheese with it was soft and juicy. And the salad all fresh which was accompanied by glazed balsamic vinegar. The staff was friendly and patient with this new comer. The place was very clean as well. I didn't go to the bathroom don't know if they have one otherwise I would report on that too. I definitely highly recommend and will revisit this pizza joint. read more

Rise Pies deserves zero stars! If you want decent pizza fit to eat, DO NOT go to Rise Pies at the Tanger Outlet in Pooler, GA. My husband picked-up a gluten-free pizza from there earlier tonight. The cost was almost $13, so he assumed it was a regular size pizza, instead it was a very small personal pizza. The crust was completely burned! At first, I thought it was just the outer crust, but the entire crust was burnt. It wasn't fit to eat. I called Rise Pies thinking they would reimburse our credit card, but instead some incredibly, rude person claiming to be the store manager argued with me. He claimed he cooked that pizza himself & that it wasn't burnt. And in fact, he said it was impossible to burn that type of crust! He kept interrupting me and yelling at me! He said the only way to get our money back was to bring the pizza back another day with our receipt. That junk needed to be tossed in the garbage. I can't believe after he ruined the pizza that he was so rude, mean & hateful about his mistake. A wise person knows better than to talk to a customer that way. What a delicious restaurant with a great value! It's at the outlet mall next to H&M. You have a choice of gluten free, regular, or wheat crust, 8 different sauce choices, about 5 cheese choices, and countless toppings options. The pizzas are thin crust and cooked in a pizza oven to perfection. Everything was ready very quickly yet made exactly the way each person wanted. Each of my family members got a pizza and loved them (beware, the buffalo sauce is very spicy). I got a salad with 3 types of lettuce and as many veggies as I wanted for less than $5 total. Worst pizza ever. I actually downloaded the app specifically to review this. I ordered on their app ahead of time so once I went on my break the pizza would be ready for pickup. I get there and they hadn't started my pizza yet so I had to wait 10 minutes for my pizza I ordered ahead of time. As they are boxing my pizza they ask me if I wanted cheese on it or not. My pizza had no cheese on it but at this point half my break was over and I didn't have time to wait for another pizza so I take it back to my work (which was only 2 stores down so maybe a 3 minute walk). The toppings were horrible The olives were dried, all 6 of my pepperoni were falling off and were definitely the tiny ones you can buy at the grocery store in a bag. The jalapenos were the worst they were sour and tasted and looked like it had been strained out of a relish and put on my puzza that I eventually scraped off.
