Had dinner here while looking for a spot that accepted reservations, and I'm glad I found this place! The restaurant is super cute inside, and I love that they even have a speakeasy-style dining section (though I ended up sitting in the main dining room). We started with the cheesy bread--definitely a highlight. So delicious and a great way to kick things off. Our server was incredibly nice and bubbly, which made the experience even better. The Caesar salad was your standard Caesar, but fresh and well done. For my entrée, I ordered the shrimp scampi. It was good overall--just needed a little extra salt for my taste, and next time I'd probably ask for fewer sun-dried tomatoes. The Sauce is a very nice addition to the Pooler area. Even though Pooler is not huge, it lacks high end cuisine and variety. The atmosphere and ambience is really nice. The pizza was really good, I didn't love the antipasto salad; as it had items in it that I wasn't used to in my antipasto salad. Overall it was an 8/10 for me. My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and sadly it was very underwhelming. We sat at the bar since we didn't have a reservation. The bartender was really nice but they didn't have a ton of beer selection as I hoped. Also....,please note the under the bar backing.. I don't know what it's called but it is SOOOOO uncomfortable! They have gate panels and every time your knee touched it it hurt! I think most of our complaints was about that bar island. I ordered the penne creamy lemon garlic. Again just very underwhelming the pasta to me tasted store bought I could have easily made this at home. My boyfriend had their lasagna which took the longest to make. My sister, who is a big foodie was in town for a few days. I made reservations at The Sauce and she was quite impressed. Our food was delicious as their sauces are all home made in house. We feasted on the Caprese Salad and Spaghetti with a creamy lemon garlic sauce to which we added chicken as our protein choice. Everything was perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. The restaurant has a welcoming feel and their Speakeasy couldn't be more intimate. This is such a great local Savannah Quarters restaurant and I'm always pleased. read more

09.2025. Love this Italian restuarant. I went twice this month. 1st time was a girlfriend outing. Its very nice and quaint in there. The food was great and I had enough left for lunch the next day. I ordered the penne pasta, spicy red sauce with shrimp. They also have a happy hour until like 6pm. 2nd visit was with a lil boo thang and we had a couple drinks then went into the speakeasy. I suggest you get a reservation. Tables are reserved for reservations. No reservation you can use one of the available couches. We did have a server but you can't order food, just drinks. We had reservations so we got seated right away, however, everything after we got seated did not go well. Our server took a while to come back with our drinks. We ordered everything with our apps and that was only the garlic bread and a salad and the garlic bread was good however the salad was something out of a prepackaged salad bag. It was so depressing to look at and then our pizza took over 45 mins to come out. My dad is a diabetic and we were all being patient as it was busy but manageable. I asked the guy who seated us how long it normally takes and he said 25-30 mins. It was not worth the wait. We were all starving by the time it got to us and just wanted to get out. 4/19/26, Party of 5, Reservations at 6pm, Table 42, Check number 26. Let's talk food first: The pictures on the website were awesome, however, when ours was served not quite as impressive. For starters we all shared 2-small pizza's 1-Bianca and 1-Margherita, I'm not a fan of white pizza but in most cases the Bianca has some flavor, this pizza had zero flavor, the Margherita was ok, but nothing I would do again. My wife had the Lasagna the pasta was cooked nice, the sauce ruined it with a bitter taste, my mother had the Pasta Bolognese which was pretty good, my sister had the Baked Penne which she also said was pretty good.. my daughter had the Burrata Al Pesto, which she said was ok and I had the Penne Lemon Garlic Pasta w/Shrimp this was quite good and I I were to go back would order again. Overall, we would rate the food 6/10. Service by Armando was ok, he probably should learn to converse more with his customers by talking about the menu and any specials. Now for the Ambiance: The inside of the restaurant was very nice the walls looked like a deep maroon color on the walls, huge monitors with flowers, the problem was the place was to dark, couldn't see too much which was a shame, because I like looking at the dishes coming out of the kitchen... didn't see anything, and the music, it was so loud and had such a beat it ruined the experience-it was like they wanted to make it into a night club atmosphere... the other customer that we could see were around 40 on up in age, not the music I would have played in a Italian Kitchen. We also saw a lot of food left on plates at the table next to ours, which is not a good sign. If I were the owners, managers and staff, I would do some after hours tastings of the menu, and make adjustments, only if they agree with this review, if not that's ok... but repeat customers is the goal, not the one-time customer that doesn't return. As far as the Ambiance I would rate it a 5, because it was too dark and the music choice and volume was awful. read more

Excellent home cooked Italian food. The place has a cool atmosphere with TV art. The food is fantastic as is the service. Big bold flavor without the need of adding additional salt. Server and bartender Jacob, very friendly and efficient! The Caesar salad was perfectly dressed with fresh lettuce and very crunchy croutons. We went on a Saturday night spontaneously. The restaurant is small and beautifully decorated. Our waitress Amber was wonderful and treated us like we had been friends forever! We orders the caprese salad and bruschetta appetizers. Bother we're so fresh and delicious. The balsamic was very flavorful. Our mains were the chicken Marsala and the parpadelle with spicy vodka sauce. The chicken Marsala had such good flavor from the caramelized mushrooms and onions to the Marsala wine sauce. While visiting family in Pooler we really enjoyed our visit this spot offers a fun bar experience with some of the best espresso martinis around. The salads, especially the antipasto, were fresh and flavorful. The pasta dishes could use a bit more spice, but the garlic bread was a hit. Both were lacking seasoning but the white cheddar sauce helped the flavor for the lobster mac. Overall a good visit but the food really needed salt. This is the old lvl up pizza and arcade place owned by the same individual, last name Patel. He also owns the taco place next door. Food was nothing to get excited about. The sauce was very sweet. Wife's lobster Mac was dry and bland. The expresso martini was good though. They are making a speak easy inside the place where the arcade games used to be. By making the place reservation only they are trying to make it something it's not. You can walk in and sit at the bar without reservations as long as seats are available. This place opened about 7 weeks ago. Visited the first time today. We did take out so it was a bit of a wait. Definitely was worth it. Looked over the website, Made reservations, First thoughts that this was going to be an enjoyable experience. Small place, dimmer lights on the table, had promise. Was seated by our server, who brought us water and menus. So far so good. Then came the noise, not just the out of the normal conversation and background music but a full on "Wild Wings" Football crew at the bar. Three minutes later our meals, delivered by the chef arrived. Looking at our table he said "Should I bring these back later?" No, we will take them. In my mind, they were going back to sit under a heat lamp. So, we ate in reverse... server walked past us several times with our empty plates in front of us. Must have been the manager who walked by and noticed that our small table was a little crowded. Removed the dinner plates, which gave us room for the salads and appetizers. Have I mentioned how loud it was...it was hard to hold a normal conversation. Not to ruin the meal, we ordered desserts. Now I enjoy a cappuccino with dessert but they do not serve it. Here's the good at least with what I ordered. I enjoyed my bruschetta and my friend liked the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Caprese salad was good, could have used a touch more balsamic glaze on the mixed greens. The house salad was missing the cucumbers which was something that would not have bothered me. His thought was he should have went with the Caesar. I went with the Chicken Parmesan. It was fresh, lightly breaded and tasty. The spaghetti and house marinara was good. I've had worse, I've had better. They served you plenty of spaghetti. The other meal was a lemon pesto chicken which was not a hit. I didn't try it but after a few bites they were done with the meal. The server did not set the chicken on the requested pasta. Their complaint was too much pesto. (This made me laugh... as I said it's in the name) but they said it was overpowering. I went with the limoncello mascarpone cake. Loved it and wish that the serving was three times as large.(not that I need it). Salted Carmel I'm told was great, cannoli not so much. Again, I did not try them. I will only rate my food: 8/10 Service: 6/10 Ambiance: here's where I have the biggest issues: If you're going to go out and be an Italian restaurant be a restaurant. If you want to cram a sports bar and restaurant into a space the size of my living room it's not going to work for me. I want to enjoy my meal, take in the food that was prepared, relax with a nice glass of wine.
