Catch of the day, Salted Sea Bass
    Jon K.

The service was amazing, the food was amazing, the beer & wine was ... you guessed it, amazing. 4 people ate and drank our fill for $400. There was no one else here, and we had an amazing time joking with the waiters and seeing the catch of the day. They set it on fire, and made a huge production of the salted sea bass. This was the end of a work trip and out was an absolute highlight of the trip. They brought out drinks on the house, so the staff must have had a good time ",too! Kudos to Elvis, Leonardo, and Sabrina!

We found Agli Archi based on the convenient location to our hotel and some positive reviews online. The customer service was absolutely top notch! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and they made us feel very welcome. We tried a variety of cuisine from pizza and lasagna to lobster and squid ink spaghetti and everything was amazing! They helped us choose a wine to our liking and that was the perfect fit to our meal. If you want a superb dining experience then I would definitely try Agli Archi...you won't be disappointed

Good food in a nice quiet place in Venice with a great wine selection. great service that seemed to really care about you. I had a great pesto and prawn linguine.

The dishes we had were good but it was definitely a touristy spot. It was also a bit past midnight when we asked if they were still opened...but would I go back? Probably not but service was amazing

    Risotto con Pollo

A nice evening in Venice and of course hungry, we stumbled across this restaurant. The food and the service was very good along with the atmosphere they had going on, almost make is it feel like you're home. I had the Risotto con Pollo and my girlfriend went with the Ravioli. My meal was fantastic and my girlfriend loved her Ravioli. The ingredients fresh and flavorful and well located next to our nearby hotel. They had house wine, so decided to go with the house red. Glad I did because the wine was amazing. I'm happy to have made it to this establishment because everything was great and the folks were very kind an amiable. Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing some food!

This is a new restaurant we randomly selected and it was so worth it. The wait staff was exceptional, they were friendly and engaging. The chef, Luciano, delivered our food and was very friendly, which made for a memorable experience in Venice.

We stopped for dinner on a cool October evening and sat outside along the canal. Our party of 4 ordered included fried calamari, mushroom ravioli, small side salad, and pizza. The food was delicious as was the service. Note they we ordered a bottle of wine instead by the glass for a better deal. I highly recommend dining at this cafe when visiting Venice.

Fantastica greater, and server Bruna! Gratzie!

We were walking by deciding where to eat when Bruna's personality and description of the foods realed us in. Fabulous to sit right at the water and enjoy the evening. The spritzer was tasty and our food delicious. Grazie molto!

A combination of a thunderstorm and an early dinner meant the place was empty, but Marco and other staff welcomed us warmly all the same. We had the antipasti Parmigiana Di Melanzane (fried eggplant with cheese) and enjoyed the mains Pasta Al Forno (baked pasta with beef and peas), Pasta Con Le Polpette E Salsa Di Pomodoro (spaghetti with meatballs - not pictured), and Turbante Di Pesce Spada "A Beccafico" (baked swordfish). These were also with the Casa Rosso wine and Birra Siciliana beer both blonde and red. All food was superb. The fried eggplant was flavorful and fresh, and the bread was crispy and savory. The baked pasta was rich, the spaghetti and meatballs were nostalgic, and the swordfish was delectable. Safe to say we all cleared our plates easily. We wish nothing but the very best for Marco and his restaurant. This food was some of the best we had on our two week stay throughout Italy. The atmosphere, staff, and of course the amazing food made for a great experience that we would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced homestyle Sicilian meal.

From the moment we arrived, the owner, Marco, made us feel genuinely welcome. He explained that the food is Sicilian and quite different from what you typically find in Venice, which was exactly what we were hoping for after days of similar menus. The menu is short, focused, and built around family recipes. We ordered the pasta of the day, the roast beef, and the smoked salmon dish, and every single item was fantastic. To finish, we had limoncello made by Marco's mother, and it was absolutely delicious. What really made the evening special was Marco and his family. They were warm, kind, and genuinely happy to share their story with us. We loved hearing about his late father and the lasting impact he had on both the family and the restaurant. One of the most memorable parts of the night was joining in the restaurant tradition of coloring pictures and exchanging them with drawings already hanging on the ceiling. We ended up taking home a picture created by a family member, and it will be making the journey back with us to Carlsbad, California. Without a doubt, this was the best dining experience of our entire trip through Europe. Highly recommended!!

The waiter is very friendly and invite us to have lunch, and menu price look reasonable so let's go for it. We ordered clam and mussels. So amazing and yummy, especially the soup! For dinner in peak season, try to make a reservation as the restaurant is very small. We arrived before our reservation time and were seated immediately inside and greeted warmly by the restaurant owner. We ordered a bottle of wine to start (most under 20 Euros for a 75 ML bottle). For appetizers we ordered the cheese with honey for 13 Euros, absolutely amazing! We also combined this with the local olive oil and fresh bread brought to the table to start as well. For our second course we chose two pastas, the Penne Alla Amatriciana (I think it was around 12 Euros), and the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (I think it was around 12 Euros as well). Both had extremely fresh homemade ingredients and were out of this world and extreme attention to care in the preparation. For our entree we split the breaded pork chop (I think it was around 20 Euros), including a side of potatoes (similar to the steak fries that you would see in the U.S.) The service was absolutely amazing and we loved dining alongside the owner and his family and meeting the cat that also lives at the restaurant and comes by to greet you during the meal as well. It truly was like you were dining at the home of the owner and is a must try if you are in Venice!
