I really don't need to go as often anymore since I've gotten older. So there is an expression: fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Once before I went in for brow tinting a few weeks before my daughter's wedding. Came out way too dark, and it was pretty shocking for my personal taste, but I am pretty fair, and it did fade over time so it wasn't as dramatic but it took a long time to fade. Well I went again. I did specifically say not too dark several times. I get it, and in their defense, you can't cover grays with a light color. However - between the shaping and tinting, I now look like 2 separate caterpillars have molted over my eye sockets. Just a warning - if you have fair eyebrows, proceed with caution (or don't) do tinting here.

Normally I get pretty angry red up there after a threading and I was bracing myself to tear up and grit my teeth for the pain but she was so gentle and I literally had none of my usual pain. The space is very clean, pretty and minimalistic. All their tools are hidden behind large mirrors situated in front of each chair so there isn't any tables with clutter on it. The whole salon is cozy but roomy. There was another customer there and she was able to have her baby and a stroller right now to her. Mamas gotta have nice brows too, y'know. I said i wanted to wax my legs, and the woman at the front desk said something to the other woman in another language and she then walked me into a room. I didnt like how she treated her colleagues or how no one greeted me. The waxing session itself was very painful, other wax places don't hurt as much as this did. They use all purpose wax, which she had to repeatedly go over the same areas because it wasn't working well. The lady was so nice though, she was great. I am not coming back because the wax is really cheap and they double dipped.

My mom and I usually get our eyebrows and upper lip threaded, we don't have thick eyebrows which makes it somewhat hard to shape but Maldi beauty always does an incredible job of making our eyebrow look thicker than they are. All the employees are so nice and great at what they do. Right now with covid they've made the necessary changes to make their customers feel comfortable including getting vaccinated and using a threading necklace to avoid having to put the thread on their mouths. It feels very safe to go even now :)
