LAMEST EXCUSE FOR A PHARMACY IN BEAUMONT my MD called in a script yesterday that I take every day, it isn't an 'optional' refill....I need the script. The Rite-Aid pharmacy didn't have my new insurance information for this year (following is a direct quote from 'Steven' the employee answering the phone) "The script was very expensive so we chose not to fill it". WTH? when did YOU start making decisions on IF I have new insurance that will pay and IF insurance doesn't, that your customers will NOT be willing to pay? OH, it gets better. I asked how much the script was, (expecting it to be HUNDREDS of Dollars.) "It's $38 for a 30 day supply." WTH? It's a DOLLAR a DAY??? So they decided that A) i probably didn't have new insurance and B) that if i had to pay a dollar a day...I would NOT WANT a script? Now comes the lamest statement to exit an employees mouth: I asked him why someone didn't call to ASK me for my new insurance information. He said "i guess they made the decision not to call". WTH? Any wonder why Rite-Aid is in Bankruptcy????? Do yourself a huge favor... (first, live without the Thrifty Ice Cream) and go to a reputable, in business, still functioning pharmacy. The pharmacy department so many problems with them my prescriptions for insulin syringes is a problem for them every month I end up reusing my syringes because of problems with dr or prescription but they tell you it will be ready tomorrow and it's not stay away from this place I will be changing to Walgreens. read more

Rite Aid is a decent pharmacy but they never answer their phones in the pharmacy! I brought this up to the pharmacy manager, and she said, well we just can't answer all the call, everybody is busy! What an answer from a manager! It sounds to me that they need to hire a manager here that cares, and works through this problem! Good luck if you have to call this pharmacy!!! read more

Upon entering the store, I was warmly greeted by a store employee named Maria. As I browsed the store, I liked the layout, how bright it was inside, and food items were easy to locate. I was also pleasantly surprised to see plant based/vegan food items throughout the store including plant based jerky, chips, and microwaveable meals in the freezer section of the store. When it was time for me to checkout my item, I liked that I had a very short wait time (less than a minute.) Maria quickly rung up my item, gave me my receipt and told me to have a good day. Due to the pleasant experience I had at this Rite Aid, I plan to shop here again in the future since I'm now aware that they carry food to assist with my vegan lifestyle. read more

the best rite aid in entire area. I was using the rite aid in Hemet, but would rather make the drive to Beaumonts Rite Aid. The people who work there are nicer, more courteous, and make sure the customer is taken care. if you live within a 30mile radius of this Rite Aid(1660 E 1st St) and use Rite Aid to get your medication then make the drive it's way worth it! read more

We have been with this pharmacy for over 5 years. We have always been happy with the pharmacist until today. Steve (pharmacist) on duty today 9/23/20 at 6:15 pm was rude and nasty. Steve, if you no longer want to serve your client/patients, please QUIT your job! My husband do no deserve to be yelled at by you. Next time that I witness your nasty behavior towards my medically compromised disabled husband, I will ensure that I return the favor towards you. Dont waste your time coming here.. I cant even call on the phone to ask if they have a vitamin in stock!! ( 1 month ago) I dont know why the employees are so unhappy, I am an Amazon prime member and I will just order my stuff from them or I-Herb. Yesterday again, I called and had them hold a supplement behind the counter..I get there, waiting in line for about 5 minutes and decide it might bequicker if I check the pharmacy first.. The pharmacist wouldnt even come to the window and a lady was already in line in front of me.. My phone is rigning off the hook because I had to be somewhere.... so I decide ok, maybe I should go back to the front?? thats where I had to wait ten minutes.. At the front: they made me wait in line for 10 minutes and wouldn't even ask if I had a quick question, No ONE, not one employee smiled and cared if I spent money there.. so after waiting there in line for an eternity, (the person in front of me did full blown grocery cart shopping...). I get to the front and they said.. yeah its not here..(they barley looked), "go back to pharmacy".. I was already there at the pharmacy.. so I had to wait another ten minutes and the girl at the pharmacy window barley looked behind the counter and didnt care if I got what I needed.. This was on Sunday 4/25/21 at about 4:30-5pm. This ping pong, rude crap was over the top..just because they are too stupid to pick up the phone and call the pharmacy extension and check for me.. Making a customer walk back and forth several time was just mean! too bad.. I have an older partner a Vietnam Vet, I care for, that is on about 10 medications.. they could have had our business.. they blew it.. Ohh... when I called to try to straighten out what was going on, the supervisor just smarted off to me on Sunday night.. So don't waste your time.. they don't care about you or your money.. spend it where you'll be treated like a valued customer with some respect. read more

I was called here for an interview & I was told to come in later when the manager would be there, & this wasn't the problem. The problem began when the manager hid in the back & had an employee tell me they are not hiring & I was wasting my time. This was VERY unprofessional of the manager. read more

Giving this place a 1 star due to the NASTY and POOR attitudes of EVERYONE in the PHARMACY. I have visited this location many times cause it's down the street from my place. However, it that seems that buying medication from this particular location also means being a COMPLETE NUISANCE to the pharmacy tech and the pharmacist. Upon walking up to the window, the two behind the pharmacy looked up, stared at me, didnt greet me, and looked back down to continue whatever they are doing. After 5 minutes, one finally grunted "hold on. We will help you in a minute!"....well sorry if I am such an inconvenience to you. I suggest driving 5 minutes down the road to Walgreens where people at least are friendly and will be happy to help you and not make you feel like a complete bother. read more

I love this Rite Aid in Beaumont. It is on the newer side of town, near a sushi restaurant and a nail place. I like to stop in there for some pop and to take a whizz when I am arriving to Beaumont after a long drive from LA. It is big, it is clean, the bathrooms are not locked like they are in SOME places. Now what about those places? Fuck those places. LOCKING the door to the loo? Barring my access to the water closet? Infringing upon my natural born right to pee freely? This Rite Aid respects my bladder. They also have a nice cosmetics dept, tons of lovely xmas rap. And by xmas rap, I mean: Now on the first day of christmas, my homeboy gave to me A sack of the krazy glue and told me to smoke it up slowly Now on the second day of christmas, my homeboy gave to me A fifth of hendog and told me to take my mind off that weed Now by the third day of christmas, my big homeboy gave to me A whole lot of everything, and it wasn't nuthin' but game to me They don't really have real rap in Beaumont. Went in, in a hurry, to pick up something for my newborn. Stood by the pharmacy check-in window to ask for some help( three staff clearly saw me waiting) no on helped. I finally gave up. Went to check out, the cashier was rude and it was obvious that she didn't want to be there anymore than me. Most useless and frustrating rite aid visit. read more

Ice cream...Ice cream who will scream for ice cream.. This rite aid has the Thrifty ice counter built in. I have fond memories of going to Thrifty's as a kid and getting to pick out my own flavors....always seemed to be the brightest colors. I guess those stained my parents car seats the best. I am a little more refined now, but those thrifty ice cream cones are the tops....This particular Rite Aid had every space full. This is a problem for the Rite aid in Yucaipa they always have holes in their case on the flavors they run out of. Great fast service too....I was about the fifth person in line and it went fast. read more

Got our flu shots yesterday. The staff was polite and efficient. So nice to get in and out right in our own neighborhood.

Update: My husband too was angered by this whole situation. He took it upon himself to try and get the matter resolved. He spoke with the store manager, and she was quick to look into this matter. While she promises this won't happen again. I won't know if it's really resolved or not until my next refill. I do appreciate her quick response and actions taken to resolve this problem. I'm not an unreasonable person and understand things happen. Which is why I was so mad in the first place. I've given them many chances to make this right. I haven't stepped foot in that store sense and doubt I will for sometime. The two stars are for the manager trying to make things right. read more

Your average new Rite Aid. Not much different from any other new Rite Aid in a newer area of town. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Not crowded and the ice cream is great as usual. My family and I walk to Rite Aid for Ice Cream during the Summer. Of course the potty is open. Beaumont has more police offers per capita than any other city in the Inland Empire. There is no sushi restaurant in Beaumont. You must be referring to Tolucas Mexican restaurant. The comment at the end of the review is not correct in my opinion. read more

Rite Aid on Oak Valley used to be my favorite one but what's with the Cashier running to and from two different registers?? It makes for a very bad shopping experience. They think it's faster to check people out but when you're left standing there with your transaction half completed while your cashier runs to the other register to help another person it is not faster and creates a feeling of chaos. Hire the appropriate number of staff. I dread when I need to pick something up real quick now and must run in that Rite Aid because I can't wait to drive to one of the other stores. read more

The store itself is okay.. Prices are high but thats to be expected. My issue is with the pharmacy. The pharmacist is an ass and likes to play dr.. He tries to over ride what my dr writes me and my mom and wife have the same issue. Then on top of it he treats you like a criminal for it... He should go back to medical school for another 4 years if he wants to play doctor. read more

I mostly stopped here for the novelty of checking in somewhere in Beaumont, but I needed advil and snacks too so it worked out. The store was well organized and tidy. Staff was friendly enough, although the line was a little long and slow moving. The best part, they had the old school thrify's ice cream, like the kind in the cylinder shaped scoop. read more

I had to take minute and review this Rite Aid purely based on its staff (after all drug stores are basically all the same). It does not matter what day or time I arrive I am always greeted with, "welcome to Rite Aid" (they must say that a thousand times a day) and a smile. No matter how busy, the staff is friendly and patient. They make a point to call on other clerks when there's more than 2 people in line and truly seem to enjoy their jobs. This group of individuals are doing a wonderful job and I'm very grateful, thank you! read more
