I have never experienced coffee like this before. It is 100% worth the stop. The banana latte is my go-to and honestly I have never wanted to try anything else. It is that good. But one time I told the owner I wanted something different, and he made me a chai latte that was just as amazing. You can tell they really care about what they're making. The espresso itself is perfection. It is smooth, no bitterness at all, and the quality is always consistent. Every time I go, it tastes just as good, if not better than the last. Coming from someone who used to drink Starbucks all the time, I can confidently say I will not be going back. I will always stop here instead. I LOVE this place and recommend it to everyone. It was one of the most unique drink options for an early morning. I had waltzed right in a few minutes after opening. The owner had barely put out the parking lot sign, when I had stepped out of my car. It's hidden inside the lot and if not the signs, I wouldn't have spotted it. Upon walking in, I noticed the catching art and design of the portafilter. I stared at the design and menu before ordering. I was the first customer of the day! The owner made small talk with me, but it was definitely pretty early. He was friendly and kind, as he was making my order. Watching him brew the coffee in front of me, while holding a casual conversation was a nice experience in the shop. He also gave me a coffee sleeve with my iced drink, just because I asked (I keep sleeves as part of a collection). The banana latte is strong. After drinking half of it, I can feel the caffeine hit, which is rare for sweet drinks. You can taste the coffee, banana, and milk. Definitely a bang for my buck. My other co-workers ordered a hot honey cinnamon cappuccino with oatmilk, an iced golden hour from the spring menu, a cortado and a cinnamon roll. Based on our experience, I think I'd stick to ordering coffee here next time instead of the matcha.
