A few months ago I went into this Rite Aid for their Ice Cream. No one was behind the counter but a cashier asked one of her co-workers to help me. The guy was in the middle of mopping the floor of the store. He wasn't too excited to stop what he was doing. In fact with annoyance he pushed the mop into the pale (spilling some of the solution on the floor and himself.) I should have passed then but didn't. He went around the ice cream counter, took off his rubber gloves and waited for my order. I gave it to him. One pint of black cherry. He completed it then handed it to me to pay, which I did. I noticed something which I had noticed at other Ride Aid ice cream counters. He didn't weigh it on a scale. I asked him about it and he said they didn't have or use a scale to measure their sizes (a pint, quart, half gallon and so on.) So you just eye ball it? Right. How about other Rite Aid IC counters. "No scales. So my ice cream order was in the hands of someone who had an industrial cleaner on his clothes was upset I pulled him from what he was doing to scoop an alleged pint of ice cream. This rite aid has always been close by, convenient, and friendly. They usually have a variety of inventory so i never leave with out something I need or had intended to buy. They had recently just remodeled and it looks amazing; marble floors and everything. I think they have a coffee joint with the ice cream bar now. So cool, Awesome! read more

I was so surprised by the renovation! Good bye to the Rite-Aid of my childhood... The service by the cashiers is still as bad as ever though- expect a 30 sec transaction to take about 3 mins with 2 interruptions and the cashier leaving maybe once for a few minutes with out explanation. This place is the worst when it comes to service - most notably the pharmacy. Considering how busy it is -- not to mention its zip code -- the pharmacy is almost always under-staffed -- and forget getting anyone in the pharmacy on the phone. Most of the time, the line rings and rings and rings -- or you will get put on hold forever and no one ever picks up again. It's pathetic. Also, I called for a prescription refill, knowing that I was out of refills and that they would need to contact my doctor. A week later when I checked in, they still hadn't contacted my doctor. Then, when they did, they used the wrong communication method despite having been dealing with this prescription for several years. Consequently, I ran out of my meds on a Friday night. Bottom line -- I'm switching pharmacies even though Rite Aid is so close. read more

This is my favorite ice cream hangout place!! My friends and I get together at least once a week. It's in the heart of Beverly Hills and in the best location. It's near home and I can do my quick last minute shopping at the drug store once I'm lready here. They have a nice patio with tables a chairs to relax and hang out. You can take their delicious ice cream to go or to stay. Perfect outing for the kids too. Clean and nice workers. I'm going to eat my 2 scoop chocolate Brownie ice cream now!! Yumm oh and buy coffee that's on sale!! Can't get wrong with those 2 things! read more

My first time at this rite aid getting medication. Fantastic customer service! Even though one of my meds was ready, Rosalee went out of her way to call every other rite aid near by to make sure I get the other med I needed as well and not wait another day. This Rite Aid has a pretty good environment and it's clean. Good area but the lines at the pharmacy use to be a little long, but, nowadays they are not long. The ice cream is awesome though and the prices are great! I'll be back. The butter pecan is wonderful! It was about 2 dollars for a scoop. The location is in one of the best areas of Beverly Hills 90210. The people are very friendly and they always tell me where everything is. The best part is free parking!!! Maybe this Rite Aid is worthwhile strictly based on the fact that is open 24 hours, but I would avoid this pharmacy if at all possible. This pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Each time they mess something up, I think it must be the last, but then they do it again. They have made huge mistakes in the past that were unforgivable. I only ever go to them in emergency, like I did today. I called ahead, put in a refill request, they said they authorized the refill and that I could come in later. I go in, and the pharmacist tells me that, no, in fact, I CAN'T have my prescription, even though they said it was authorized. She asked me to pay them $200 dollars if I wanted to get my prescription without having to use insurance. I asked her why I was told that my refill was authorized, and she replied only, "Well, I don't know who told you that!" This pharmacy is horrible, disorganized, and SO RUDE. Unbelievably rude. They never apologize for anything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Customer service here is horrible. The lady rudely asked to state my purpose as to why I was in the customer service line. Then had me stand in the checkout line to do my return. I didn't have my receipt on hand and paid with my card for item and she insisted that she can only give me a gift card. I use to work at a Rite Aid and I know that is not true! I have been coming here for so many years because it's in a convenient location for me. Only go here if you have time to waste and enough time to wait around about 2-3 times longer than you were told. I have never once in my life had to wait so long for them to prepare medication. I dropped off Medicine was told it would be ready in 45 min. Knowing they take a while ended up coming back an hour and 45 min later. The medication was still not ready and hadn't even been started! I know they have the capacity city because they saw I was really upset and prepared it in less than 10 minutes. I would have much preferred them be honest with me since the beginning that it would take even three or four hours when I dropped it off. They know this happens often so why don't they just ad just so I wouldn't have to be rushing and rearrange my schedule an extra hour or two to their "estimated" time frame. Basically if you have the time to wait (over 45 min to 1+ hours) for your prescription then this is your spot. Honestly I think they truly don't give a shit because if they did they would have fixed the problem by now or would have looked into a revising they're business structure. It's too bad because I'm sure their pharmacists are good - but they come across as lazy, slow, and inefficient. Honestly I don't think they care that you have a job, or have to make money, or that time is money, or that you might be a student in pain who needs every minute to study for her midterm coming up. Basically no respect for your time - whatsoever. I'm not the only one that has these feelings. Multiple reviews about this same issue have been posted since the beginning of the year and it doesn't seem like any changes have been implemented. Again, if they cared maybe they would have put some attention to this issue. Their responses on yelp are the same or every complaint : "call customer service..." It's their way to try to redeem your loyalty and come across with having at the very least "acceptable customer service". Rite aid BH, let me just tell you that customer service and being proactive is extremely important in today's society and generations. Especially with the quick responses we get from technology nowadays. People who can't afford to have that technological way to keep customers updated compinsate in other ways. At the very least, they have my cell phone on file and could have called, texted, or left a voicemail to let me know the status of my order. There are are automatic technological services that can even do it for you - no need to employ an additional person if you can't. read more

I do not recommend this pharmacy due to inhuman poor customer service. The pharmacist on call on Sunday March 27th at 8:00 p.m. has no respect for loyal customers and may have issues beyond anyone imagination. My family has been a customer of this Rite Aid pharmacy for many years. My daughter who has a serious sinus infection was unable to get her medicine due to a birth date glitch in pharmacy's computer. She has been given medicine before but when I asked for one day medicine, so they can confirm the issue with insurance the next day, they refused to provide service and take care of my daughter situation. I have been coming here since I was 8 yrs old and the level of service has plummeted steadily over the years. But I don't blame the people who work here. They are severely understaffed and corporate doesn't seem to care. They will care when people stop coming here. In addition to being severely understaffed, their bathroom is constantly in terrible shape and smells like something died inside. This Rite Aid is located in the heart of beverly hills and recently was remodeled,which it looks better and cleaner now.I shop at Rite Aid about twice a month. It is my pharmacy of choice because that they almost always have the greatest savings through their +UP program and they seem have better control of their inventory on the weekly sales items. Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that my transactions on at least 3 recent occasions have not been rung properly. The cashier on all of the receipts is the same and it is a very sweet, friendly, bubbly young lady who seems to have a handle on what she is doing but apparently doesn't. read more

I've never had such a horrendous experience at a pharmacy. After waiting for two hours, and asking the staff the status on my medication multiple times, they told me that Rite Aid is not contracted with my insurance. The staff there are extremely rude and incompetent. You can hear them fighting and yelling in the back. They also mis-placed an older's man medication (it was on the counter, but the staff did not bother to check) so he had to get out of bed and come to get it. The staff did not apologize to me or the older man. The line is long and the staff back there standing doing nothing. Please save yourself the trouble and go to another pharmacy. read more

A "new" store layout doesn't change the problems this store has. It is so nice of the Rite Aid Corporation to hire so many idiots. A prerequisite for being a cashier. How about making it a prerequisite for them to converse in English. You will have to wait no less than 10 minutes (probably more) to pick up a prescription... and the new wine section... a real plus for all the homeless laying around outside. Terrible service. Our doctor called in a prescription this morning and I called right away with our insurance information. They said they would call when it was ready. I was skeptical. I called 3 hours later. It wasn't done. They promised it would be ready in 20 minutes. 45 minutes later I showed up - not ready!!!!!! Now I am late for my appointment. And my daughter is still waiting for medicine for her ear infection. Never again. read more

If I could give the pharmacy negative stars I would as their service doesn't even warrant one star. Each trip to the pharmacy seems worse than the previous one, and I don't believe they should be allowed to handle people's medications. I have been given the wrong prescription in the past, and today went to pick up a prescription I came in to transfer 3 days ago, and after 20 minutes of waiting in line I find out that they completely FORGOT about my prescription and had to call right then to transfer it. Took over 50 minutes for something that should have taken no more than 5. Absolutely abysmal and horrid service, unprofessional workers & a waste of time for anyone who needs their prescriptions filled. Would recommend to go elsewhere for your medication needs. read more

Honestly, this is the worst pharmacy I've been to. One particular pharmacist was very rude and it's very upsetting. The lines are always long and the staff functions very slow. I don't recommend this pharmacy unless you want to made purchases, because it's truly a nice Rite Aid. read more
