Absolutely the worst pharmacy in Los Angeles. Incompetent. Inefficient. Long lines always and your medication is not ready even hours the scheduled pick up time. Just awful. read more

I've been coming to this establishment since it was a thrifty's in the late 80s.. This used to be the best store in town! For the last three years it is gone completely downhill, the cashiers are the slowest people on earth in the store line as well as the pharmacy cashiers. Everybody acts like they are working off of a quarter of a brains and don't do their job of making sure the pharmacy patent is taken care of or well informed about what is going on with any hick ups in a refill and they don't even attempt to call you to inform you of there is a probes with your refill or if they need anything additional to help the situation . I was told 2x that I my meds would be ready in 15-30 min . I came back 2 times to hear the same thing they told me earlier in the day . They said we are waiting for approval from your Dr . I said what approval ? They said your dr has to approve the refill. But little did they know I was Sitting next to my dr when he called the pharmacy and said I'm calling to approve a Refill and he gave my name and birth date and med he was requesting to be refilled . They said no problem it will be ready within the Hr . I go to pick it up and they said we are waiting for dr approval when my dr Called it in in the 1st place. So they said we have to call your dr Bcuz there are no notes about his approval . So they call my dr and I hear the convo. And the pharmacist or pharmacist cashier says ok we got it taken care of it will be ready in 30-45 min they ask me if I'd like to wait or come back and pick it up . I said I'll come back . So I come back in 4 hrs to pick it up and they tell me . We haven't gotten approval from your dr yet THE WORST RITE AID IN CALIFORNIA. The pharmacy line is always 30 min long with one cashier . They are always under staffed and service sucks read more

Disorganized mess. Always a line. No staff in the aisles. Bizarre inventory; they don't have basic pharmacy stuff but sell beach coolers. Only advantage is open 24hrs and validated parking. otherwise avoid this mess of a store. read more

i go to this pharmacy as only a last resort bc it's open late and the closest one to my home. Tonight with 2 people working the counters and 2 people in line I waited 30 minutes to get to the counter to pick up my prescription and they tell me my insurance info is not in the system which was a surprise to me considering I just a few days ago picked up a prescription at this pharmacy using it. My husband decided to buy a few items and pay for them there. It took over 5 min for them to break a $100 bill. I ended up missing my friends birthday party tonight bc of this pharmacy. A month ago my husband had surgery. The hospital called them after the surgery to call in his prescriptions. The phone rang for 30 minutes literally and no one picked up so I had to take in the prescription with him waiting in the car in rough shape. They told me his insurance was down for an hour and they would call me when it was back up. I went home and upon arriving in my door 10 min after leaving they told me it was ok and ready for pick up. Nothing is ever ready when they promise it, staff is clueless, place is a mess, long lines, should I continue? Hugely improved! Recently remodeled. Light and brighter. If you were used to the old layout, it's changed but way cleaner, bigger aisles, shelves are well-organized, even the people working there look happier. Still takes forever in the prescription line and with the new store, bathroom is still unkempt by the end of the day. They need to work on those two issues, but much better than before! read more

Peter is the best employee! He makes it his mission to help others! Once I needed breadcrumbs and Peter tried to find them with me and the store was sold out. Peter then found me in store 5 minutes later and told me to try and crush crackers up instead. I know this review sounds silly but there needs to be more helpful people like Peter! read more

Have been sitting on hold 31 minutes to find out if they were able to fill a Rx my doctor called in this morning. Of course no one answered for him so he had to leave a voicemail. The girl came on my line once to look it up, she didn't find it right away and just put me on hold another 20 minutes. Infuriating. read more

The worst. The pharmacy are so understaffed you always have to wait at least 20 to 30 minutes just to be seen thats with only one or two people in front of you if there are more run. I have to change pharmacies. Don't go here. read more

If I could give no stars I would. There pharmacy is terrible. I've gone and put in an order TWICE for Med delivery and TWICE no meds came. Why? Because they are incompetent and lazy. Everyone in the pharmacy line was upset and irritated. I've never encountered such lack of professionalism. And in Beverly Hills. You would think the fact that you pay a zillion dollars to live in this area the service would be good. Worst in LA. read more

Very convenient with a very nice staff, especially Leon and Rod. They Always greet you with a smile. There is a Lot of parking, which is free with validated. They are open 24 hours. Have everything from liquor to electronics. Not so fond of the pharmacy. read more

In our experience, this Rite Aid store offers a large variety in an open, pleasant and cool store setting for those quick items you need to get. It also has a pleasant seating area outside and one of the few old-time-priced ice cream parlours left over when it was the 15-cent Thrifty ice cream cone. Delicious flavours, and a sweet, cooling treat for the kids on a hot day! Very good value, thank you, Rite Aid! read more

Used to love how friendly and helpful the staff were. I have been a a loyal customer for years and I have had to deal with the new, 20something hispanic male cashier 3 times in the last week and he has the WORST customer service ever. He is rude, and has ZERO social skills. Get rid of him or train him properly. The rite aid on Beverly Dr is actually closer to my house so I guess I will be going there from now on. This has been my family pharmacy for 50yrs. It was previously Thrifty Beverly Hills. I am now a cancer and heart patient at Cedars Sinai and the pharmacy supplies all my meds. But every time my caregiver or I try to pick up my legal med we are harrassed, embarrassed and most often sent away or told the outright lie that my Doctors have been called for verification - when they have not! I now have shingles on top of a 2yr battle with cancer and heart disease and have just been lied to and harrassed the second time I have attempted to fill my essential prescribed pain med. - when I am not even supposed to be out of bed and quarentined!! I am 71yrs old and am being treated like a criminal drug addict! The opioid crisis is NOT about denying terminally ill seniors their life support med!! Terrible rude pharmacy staff are using ego to 'police' and gain specious power over innocent sick BH people! Rotten store! Rite Aid - Get Out Of Our Town!! read more

Most incompetent and slow pharmacy I have ever been to. Wait in line for 35 minutes just to be told the prescription won't be ready for another hour. Come back in one hour, wait in the slow line for another 30 minutes, and again, rx is not ready. This happens every time. I am finally transferring my prescription. read more

This pharmacy is the best there is! The pharmacists and technicians care deeply about their customers and work hard to provide the highest level of service at all times. This is the best pharmacy and I'm fortunate to have them as my pharmacy. They have made an incredible difference in my life and the lives of my loved ones because of their dedication and expertise. They take time to make sure things are done right and even advocate for customers when insurance companies don't cover medications that should be covered. This pharmacy is open 24 hours and amazingly, they provide the highest level of personalized customer care around the clock. Big shout out to the pharmacy manager, Stephanie Dunbar, and to her amazing team at the Rite Aid on Canon!! No store ANYWHERE have I ever been SO frustrated with. Whoever was and is in charge of this renovated Rite aid should be removed immediately. It is appalling that they spend so much money renovating an entire store in one of the most wealthy cities in in the country and refuse to put on more than one cashier. there are six brand-new cash registers and never has there been more than one cashier. I have been visiting this Rite aid frequently since it has opened after the remodel and not once ever have I seen more than one cashier (The manager behind the cigarette counter does not count) four instance the last time I went in the store I counted 22 people waiting to check out and one cashier. If you had to buy something no matter what you would be waiting over 10 minutes. Why this store did not install automatic checkout Machines knowing that they will never ever ever but more than one cashier on is mind blowing. read more
