Absolute worst uneducated pharmacist on the dam planet. The younger Asian pharmacist in the pharmacy is an idiot misinformed me several times from having me change my medicine to then when I came to pick it up he said I need a authorization so I call my doctor while at the pharmacy to get authorization while I'm on hold for an hour the idiot decides to tell me oh by the way we don't have it in stock. He needs to go back and learn customer service skills and common sense. I wasted 16 phone calls several hours of time and gas. Hopefully rite aid will take disciplinary action on him as he is not fit for his job. read more

Rite Aid offers medication take back, however their med take back boxes are full every time I go... and they act surprised when I let them know they need to call and have it emptied. it's not a priority so I will no longer go there. read more

As a part of a slightly-sketchy strip mall, it's ghetto-fabulous outside. Inside, however, is surprisingly bright and nice looking. It's a very big store so they have almost everything you need. Huge selection of vitamins and supplements, food, holiday decorations, a surprisingly large wine selection (for a drug store), and the usual cosmetics. The pharmacy is actually staffed. You don't wait as long as you do at Walgreens down the street, and they seem to know more about what they are doing. I actually switched all my prescriptions over. There is a MultiCare clinic inside, but I've never used it. Now that a CVS is being built across the street, it will be interesting to see if prices change. read more

After having "suffered" the truly perverse customer service provided by the local WALGREENS Pharmacy, my wife and I (both retired), decided it was past time for a change. We first tried the local CVS Pharmacy. I asked my physician to call in two prescriptions for me as a test. I was able to verify they had received my prescriptions using their "customer friendly (if you enjoy being ignored)". I tried at least 10 times to actually speak to a living breathing CVS Pharmacist or any of the Pharmacy staff and NEVER succeeded. Based upon rather old poor reviews of this Rite Aid store, I called this RITE AID PHARMACY third, after having over a year's worth of terrible service from the neighborhood WALGREENS, and my lack of success contacting the CVS Pharmacy by phone. I was able to navigate the Rite Aid telephone tree quickly AND I actually reached a very friendly, and very much alive Pharmacist, in less than a minute. The Pharmacist was very knowledgeable about the questions I had and gave me an excellent first impression of this RITE AID store. Based upon this experience, I had my Physician call another two prescriptions to this Rite Aid Pharmacy. The prescriptions were filled in roughly one day! From the negative reviews I mentioned earlier, I was prepared for a "grubby" store. What I found when I arrived was definitely not "grubby". It was located in a small mall complex adjacent to a Safeway store. Parking was plentiful. Inside, the store was very large, very clean, bright and cheerfully lighted and with a modern design. Each department was clearly identified by overhead signs. The store was well stocked with a wide variety of reasonably priced items. The store personnel were friendly and knowledgeable about stock location. The Pharmacy Staff were quick to assist me. They were also extremely friendly and seemed very interested in answering any questions I might have aside from picking up my prescriptions. They informed me of the number and types of vaccinations they had in stock. The variety of vaccinations the were prepared to administer pleasantly surprised me. Overall I was extremely impressed with this RITE AID store, its stock and most importantly, it's personnel. (After all, a store may be the most cutting edge design, with an incredible stock, and yet if the sales personnel avoid you or are rude and demeaning, one leaves with a negative impression). I only come here to buy my medication at the pharmacy, or periodically when I need a new photo album. The service at the pharmacy is usually lacking. No one really smiles or seems to care about how you're doing. I will say the sales clerk at the register in the other part of the store are friendly enough though. read more

I just scrolled through and read all the reviews for this Rite Aid and I have to say that I actually don't agree with most of them. Granted, I'm basing this on my one and only experience here, but hey-it was pretty darn good, y'all! I mean, I came an hour before they closed (not on purpose necessarily, I'd went to another location closest to my home thinking that's where my doc had sent my script...only to find out that I was indeed wrong in my assumption, and should go to other locations and see if I had better luck. And frankly, THAT location was ridiculous and I've been there more than once. You wanna talk about rude employees, profiling, being followed, wrongly targeted for possible theft for absolutely NO REASON WHATSOEVER (), completely ignoring you when you're clearly waiting patiently for help at the pharmacy, being talked badly about for again no reason at all and you can CLEARLY hear what is being said, inappropriately and unprofessionally acting personnel with other customers and the conversation being conducted between the two, incompetent and unhelpful, blatantly rude techs and pharmacists who act like you're a complete idiot when you are trying to find out if your script is there, being treated like you're some kind of scum or something for no reason, being told as soon as you walk in (my first experience there) that you're not allowed to have your purse in the store and you'd have to leave it somewhere else to be able to shop there at all, being treated like a shoplifter when you're anything but and it's the first time you've ever even stepped foot in there and have more money than you know what to do with and absolutely NO desire to steal anything from there at all, offensive, rude, insulting, aggressive, confrontational, condescending, ugly, mean, hateful, uneducated, unethical, unprofessional, inhumane, hurtful, ridiculous, atrocious, ludicrous, insensitive, intolerable, insufferable, misguided, miserable, ignorant, embarrassing, horrifying, horrible, terrible awful, bad, bad bad alllllll around in every sense of the way and terms, just an absolute disastrous failure and disappointment of a store. That's the one I'd went to first. I won't mention which one. Not important enough. THIS location though? Even though I'd went in right before closing, I was promptly helped, by a friendly woman at the counter. Gave her my info and she checked with the pharmacist about being able to fill my script. He said yes and to wait and they'd call me. I asked if I could just browse and she said yes and so I did. When it was ready, I'd found a couple things in their amazingly big selection of make up, fully stocked and plentiful which is rare in my opinion (for rite aid particularly)! When I went to pick up the meds it was almost closed, she asked if I wanted to pay for them right there and I said yes and apologized for any inconvenience, she replied with telling me it was fine. Also, while I shopped, I didn't feel uncomfortable because I was followed or watched at all. Because I WASN'T! It was AMAZING. I am ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS followed and treated as a thief and wrongly accused of theft in every store I go in. Literally. It's such a problem I have a suit. It's bad. So I fully expected that kind of experience and was beyond excited to see that I was wrong and I was left alone to shop (AND NOT EFFING STEAL ANYTHING FOR EFFS SAKE! JESUS!! )!! It was so pleasant, so nice, to feel like I wasn't looked at like scum and I guess kinda like...I guess it felt like I was actually being respected as the person that I AM!! And that's sadly not ever the case anymore. I was elated to feel like I was treated appropriately and kindly....I could have hugged those security guards and employees...literally! I left feeling so good, I cried happy tears. When not even an hour before I left another rite aid feeling the exact opposite and crying very VERY different kind of tears and feeling quite opposite of the feeling I had when I left this one. Total ends of the universe. I mean just complete and total opposites. Honestly couldn't have been happier with the way my experience went my first time coming here. I've actually had nothing but good experiences coming here to fill my prescriptions! In the past week I've had to come in 3 or 4 times now with different prescriptions and everyone I have encountered has been friendly and helpful. I came in Monday with 2 different prescriptions that my Dr. had prescribed: 1st prescription(was his 1st choice for me to use, but told me it was very expensive) 2nd prescription was a generic(and less expensive) the technician that was there was nice & friendly enough to take the time to look up both so I could see the price difference(1st was $159, the 2nd was $10) and decide which one. The obvious choice was the 2nd one! This is my first time not going through a Kaiser or Group Health pharmacy to fill prescriptions so this was a hassle-free experience! As I waited for my prescription to be filled; I walked around the store and I noticed 2-4 aisles completely barren. I guess they were in the process of filling out their seasonal section? This place is horrible. My son was in a lot of pain and when we walked in to get his prescription filled the pharmacist left the counter to go grab his lunch. He said as he left someone else would help us, but that wasn't the case. When he came back after 10 minutes and I asked how long it would be to fill the prescription he felt the need to say "I'll just wait to eat my lunch after I fill it!" The place is dirty and disgusting. The only reason I went there is because the Walgreens pharmacy wasn't open at the time. So sure, great that they are open later, but a horrible experience! read more

Came here this morning to get some "drops"/ medicine for my persistently plugged ear, after initially going to "CVS" caddy corner at 8am & waited 15~20 minutes and they never did open(WTF?!?! ~ but I hesitate to rate them a "1~Star" here, as the boss may have had an emergency, something suddenly happened, they were "being robbed", etc.(???)~who knows).... My first experience here was quick and easy however my experience after that was the total opposite hence the 2 stars. Getting them to transfer my prescription from the Fred Meyer Pharmacy took 3 days. All of which I was told by a technician they would work on it. That's it. And each day I called they told me they didn't have any information on hand about a transfer despite me calling numerous times to ask. The 2nd day the technician told me I needed to call the Fred Meyer Pharmacy to have them send it over. Turns out that wasn't the case AT ALL and Rite Aid is supposed to call the Fred Meyer Pharmacy to get any kind of medication transferred over. This experience was beyond frustrating because I really needed my prescription the first day but it was continuously pushed back. read more

I went here just today to have my prescription filled because the pharmacy is 24 hours. When I walked in, I was greeted by a female employee and was pleasantly surprised. However, when I went to the pharmacy, I stood in line for about 5 minutes when I was the only person there and then I finally got tired of it and went to the 'drop off' booth. Lo and behold, there were 3 people working and yet, they still couldn't see me waiting in line? That doesn't make sense. The pharmacy technicians don't even bother saying hi and one of them looked particularly disgruntled. I had to call my house for some extra information and when I told the disgruntled technician if she didn't mind holding for a minute, I swear she rolled her eyes at me. Do all technicians hate their lives and treat patients like sh@#? I don't even know... I don't plan on going back here to fill my prescription, again. read more

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Last visit in there there was a disconnect between my doctor's office and the pharmacy. The pharmacy tech (Nicola) kept telling me prescription hadn't been sent while my doctors office said it had. Long story short, after multiple calls my doctors office resent the prescription (for a UTI) but this wasn't until I'd broken down crying saying I wanted to speak to the pharmacist - Nicola said he was in a meeting and had "no idea" when he'd return. When I went back to get my medicine she berated me when I asked to speak to the pharmacist who walked right behind her. This was completely uncalled for. The pharmacist ignored me and she continued. All our meds have since been sent to another pharmacy. Note: after switching pharmacies I was told the current pharmacist at Rite Aid (who was out of town when this happened) had recommended she be fired but someone keeps overriding him. "Rudeness Overload." Went here with a prescription for Vicodin and Amoxicillin for my root canal infection, with a swollen face, in a lot of pain. Dropped off the prescription at 12:30PM and was told to return in 30 minutes. The lady repeated "Pick it up at 1 o'clock." So, I did some grocery at Safeway located right next to them and returned at 1 o'clock. The lady at the Pick-up counter cannot find me in the system and sends me to Drop-off counter stating "You have to talk to her (Pointing at Drop-off lady)." Drop-off lady says"I'm still entering you into system. But I am doing my best." I am OK with this and stand behind the stanchions to wait. The customer behind me has some complicated situation and the Drop-off lady gets stuck with her. Pharmacist in white coat tells Pick-up lady to help me, but she explains to him whatever she explains to him. 15 minutes later, the Pharmacists finally comes forward to the Pick-up counter and asks for my DOB. I give it to him and he cannot find me in the system. He then tells me to wait. Again, I am OK with this and I step behind the stanchions again to wait. It's not like I am in a way of everybody and there is no one else at the Pick-up counter to begin with. Yet, the Pharmacist looks at me with annoyance and tells me "Standing there is not gonna help." What an attitude. He further tells me "Go sit over there" pointing at their waiting area which is completely outside of their view. After 15 minutes of being invisible to them behind the stanchions, what makes him think I want to sit in the waiting area which is completely outside of their sight is beyond me. He doesn't even tell me how much longer I have to wait. I feel like I were an unreasonable child being scolded in public. Again, at no time, I complained that they were running behind the schedule. But I certainly did not want to be forgotten after I had stood behind the stanchions for 15 mins waiting for someone to get my pain medication ready. I am not happy with the Pharmacist's attitude and tell him I have grocery in the car. He tells me "You gotta wait." He could have said "Would you like to take a seat? Won't be long, maybe another 10-15 mins. And I will let you know when it's ready." I get frustrated and tell him that I am in pain only to be brushed away by him stating "Everybody is pain." I got my prescription back and went to Walgreens where the staff anticipated my needs with ease: Vicodin = "Are you in pain? Don't worry, we got this in 15 mins." said Walgreen's Sr. Pharmacy Tech. When I got the prescription back from the Rite Aid pharmacist, I told him I was going to call in to speak with their Customer Care. I heard his response as I walked away, "Go ahead." I also heard a woman's laughter. I cried in my car in the parking lot because the pain was so bad, my face was swollen and I felt helpless. 3 days after I submitted my feedback to their Customer Care, I finally received a call from the Pharmacy Manager who had been out of the country when the incident occurred. Apparently, the rude Pharmacist was "Acting Manager" and had to work 12 days straight to cover the manager's absence and I had to "pay the price." I also learned that he could have simply and easily helped me right there, right then by filling my prescription since he is indeed the Pharmacist on duty but he chose not to. Absolutely unethical and unprofessional. I had been here before when I broke my hand back in Spring 2016. Because of the timing it happened, and because I could not drive and I needed my husband to drive me around, I was always there during the night and the girl working at the Pharmacist's counter was ALWAYS helpful. But I will not return here where you are treated like a unreasonable brat just because they do not want to see people waiting behind the stanchions when they are behind the schedule. read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. If you need your medicine, which you probably do since it was prescribed then I recommend you don't come here. My daughter who is 7 months old has had a fever. We went to the ER at midnight left the hospital around 4, before leaving they faxed her prescriptions to rite aid. I wake up at 8:30 to take my daughter to school and give them a call to see the status of my medicine. I don't know why but previous times I've had to call for them to even get started on filing the prescriptions. But anyways i call and they tell me they are working on them that it should be like 35 minutes. Okay perfect I can drop off my daughter to school and I can go right after and pick up the medication for my baby. I go in and it's been like 45 min maybe 50 and they tell me they are still not ready that they would call me when they were. 30/40 minutes pass and they call me. I go up to the counter and give my daughters name and birthday. He says that I'm here for X medication and I said yes I also have another one and he tells me that there's only one prescription. I explained to him that the doctor from Seattle children sent in two, and I needed both my medications. He went and asked someone about it and he told me it wasn't ready yet. Ringed me up for the first one and once again told me to wait. Like I stated earlier I need both medications to care for my daughters on going fever. So I wait, I walk around the store and my daughters then needs a diaper change I ask someone for the restroom and they tell me they don't have a diaper changing table. So the manager lets me in to the back room to change her diaper. I could hear them saying stuff through the intercom, but not clear enough. I guess they have their crew bathrooms back there because a pharmacist walked out and rudely asked if someone told me to come back here. I said yes and she walked out. When I walked back out to the store I went back in line and waited behind like 4/5 other people. When I got to the counter the same guy helped me and said that the person who was working on it had to step out and give some covid vaccines. So once again I had to wait. I walked around the store some more and since no one was calling my name I went back up and this time when I got to the register the same pharmacist from the restroom was now there. I asked her if my daughters medication was ready because I've been waiting for a long time and she asked me her name and birthday. She told me there was only one prescription and that they had already given It to me. So I explained to her what I had already told the gentlemen. Instantly she started being rude and talking to me like if I was dumb. I asked her if she can get someone else to check because they had told me this whole time that someone was working on it. I pointed out who and stated what they had told me. All she said was he probably didn't understand you he is new. I said so I've been waiting this long for nothing??? I said thank you and left. I call the hospital and they fax over the prescription again. I call around 8pm and The answering machine is just on a loop, they supposedly close at 9 so I don't understand why I wasn't able to speak to anyone. This morning I call and I'm not greeted all I hear is HOLD, I wait for a few and when someone asked what they can do for me I start talking and click they hang up. I call again and Im put on hold. Then they answer and i ask them give my daughters name and birthday and they said the prescription was processing, then she looks at what it is and says she doesn't think they have it in stock. She says they can put an order in for it. Now I will be having Walgreens call them to see if they can fill my prescriptions. read more

These idiots have lost prescriptions on a regular basis. They filled my Norco but forgot my IBprofin and another one all on the same sheet. I had to fight with management after having a c-section until they 'found it'. This also happened to my son who is 6 with Asthma. They have lost his inhaler prescriptions and we've had to get the doctor calling them back. NOW I have a uterine infection after my c-section and have waited 24 hours for my Bactrim script but they don't have it.Doctors office faxed it over 24 hours ago and are calling them. Horrible place I am switching pharmacies. With a uterine infection or even inhalers for a breathing issue these waits and script losses are unacceptable. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely appalling pharmacy with totally incompetent techs. I spent hours on the phone throughout the day trying to get them to transfer my prescription from Walgreens. I called back six times asking if my prescription was done and every time they told me that they hadn't even called Walgreens yet! I was in tears on the phone with them PLEADING with them because I needed my prescription before they closed. They still didn't call Walgreens. I had to physically go to Walgreens and ask if they had gotten a call yet from rite aid, which of course they didn't. Walgreens was extremely helpful and found all my prescription information and sent them a fax and explained that this needed to be filled immediately, which then rite aid finally did. So long story short, thank you Walgreens for doing rite aid's job for them. read more

If I could rate the pharmacy 1/2 a star I would. They are awful. I have a chronic condition requiring multiple medications and they are consistently giving me shitty service and make mistakes every time. I have a message on my electric account at Rite Aid stating that I need to have flip caps instead of child proof ones and they literally NEVER pay attention. NEVER. I can't open half of them. For the first half of 2021 I was living with my mom because I broke my leg. I had my prescriptions transferred to the Federal Way Rite Aid for the duration. They have never gotten an order right. NEVER! Most of my prescriptions are on a sliding scale and an automated Rite Aid service calls me when they are in, but they can't release the name of the med. So they are just useless random calls I receive telling me an anonymous medication is in. The staff's rudeness and apathy border on sociopathy. DO NOT GO TO THIS RIDE AID. I've used four Rite Aids in my lifetime, as well as many other pharmacies throughout the years, and this is the worst one. Not the worst Rite Aid. The worst PHARMACY I'v ever been. Go somewhere else. Do not trust the pharmacist at this location. When I called and spoke to him about an over the counter eyelid solution my doctor had recommended, the pharmacist had me spell the name of the company, OCuSOFT, and I spelled the name of the solution, three times, Hypochlor, three times and explained in basic terms that my doctor told me to use this for my blepharitis. The pharmacist put me on hold for a solid five minutes before coming back and assuring me they had the solution available on the counter and for sale for $15.99. An hour later, when I drove across town to go buy it in the store, I could not see it on the counter. There was, however, the OCuSOFT wipes that were not the same as the HypoChlor solution. I called the pharmacist over and showed him the box and container of what I wanted. He went to the counter and pulled down the OCuSOFT wipes and tried to tell me it was the same thing. I told him to check the ingredients. When he did, he had to admit it was not the same product. I told him this was not good service! He did not acknowledge my comment. read more

Hey hey hey. Despite all the other reviews, I like this Rite Aid. Sure, it's close to home..... so convenience is a definite factor. But other than that, they've really upped their pharmaceutical team. Majority of the workers there are super friendly and quick with customers too. Other than the pharmacy I like how this location isn't crowded or busy. Matter of fact it's pretty dead. Which also means that they're usually in abundance of items that other Rite Aids would usually be running low on. So I also like coming here to stock up on items and buy them by the handfuls. Associates are usually super friendly and pretty tentative to questions. Just keep in mind the photo center is kind of non-existent. read more

I agree with the others. I've been to other Rite Aids and they were pretty good. I've had three out of say four occasions where there was an issue with my new insurance and there were problems filling my prescription. I do not know of the problem until after I get there hours later. No phone calls like the other branches. This one is lazy in my opinion. I'll be taking my business elsewhere! read more

I have been getting my prescriptions at Rite Aid for years. 9 times out 10 I have to stand in line for what seems like a really long time. One time, my Dr. sent a rx over to the pharmacy for them to fill. It was about 3pm when it was sent so I didn't come for it until around 8pm. It still wasn't ready after I had waited in line to pick it up. There have been other instances. Once they had to order a medication and said it would be in the next day. 3 days later I called and they said that they were processing it. IF this pharmacy weren't so close to my house I would switch for sure. I get most of my meds mail ordered. My local pharmacy is Rite Aid. I only get meds locally when needed. There are shady people hanging around the store wanting money. It's an uncomfortable area to shop. Don't go at night!!! I can hardly wait until CVS opens across the street!!! This store will most likely go out of business or close. In the meantime I am going to switch pharmacies!! read more

Your typical Rite Aid store, it has everything that other Rite Aids do, and this one is very well lite, well stocked and clean. The prices here are reasonable, and they have plenty of help (at least in the checkout area lol) I didn't see anyone though on the floor, so I guess if you need help you have to go to the front cashier area and ask. read more

The pharmacist was not very friendly and appeared apprehensive about filling my rx because I hadn't used her as my pharmacist before (I go to another rite aid). The pharmacy at this Rite Aid has become less and less helpful over the last two to three years. We have been regular customers and have filled about half a dozen prescriptions per month, many continuing. Almost every month there is at least one prescription that they don't have in stock and have to order. I have E-mailed Rite Aid directly about this twice and have gotten phone calls with promises to do better about having medicines in stock, but next month it's the same old story. Once I was in line to pick up a prescription with three people in front of me. Every single one of us had a problem with the prescription pick up that was related to the store's process. If we call them and try to speak to an employee, we are almost always put on hold for a lengthy session listening to 1980s music. My recommendation for anyone looking for quality service is to keep looking. read more

Although the wait can sometimes get long, that's not their fault. Every time I come in, everyone is always really nice and helpful. They are also very apologetic when prescriptions aren't filled as quickly as people expect. I think it's important to remember that there's a pharmacist shortage right now. And tons of people need medicine every day. They are working as quickly as they can. I do appreciate the pharmacy techs though. Even when customers get upset with them, they are nice about it. read more
