She was yelling for them and all and nothing. Then there was a time I was in there at open. Looking everywhere for a worker as the self checkout wasn't working. I too had to get to work. But no one is around. Finally she comes out and she is talking on her cell phone. I ask for assistance and she gives me an attitude. I said I could have robbed the store and you wouldn't have even have known because no one is out here. She was like I can see you on the camera. I said well then clearly you aren't watching it because you would have seen me looking for someone to help me or heard me calling for someone... it wasn't a secret I was having an issue with the machine. This last visit was the last. Prescriptions are never ready. The pharmacists don't return calls after they are supposed to be calling the insurance company to get it to go through. The technicians have no idea what they are looking at on the computer and obviously are not trained appropriately. Once my scripts are called in by my doctors, they seriously do not fill them till you call and even then, they may not be ready. I'm done!!! Goodbye and now I don't know where to go!! Once you answer initial screening questions, you'll have to make an appointment. The trickiest thing for me was to upload our insurance cards since I could not use texting options. Time limit of 20 minutes to register seemed long enough initially, but it became a fight against time since I had to take a photo of cards, crop them and upload them. Epic failure, but as the saying "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!" goes, so I got my photos ready to upload, and then tried to make appointments again. Actual test was a drive-thru affair. You show up on the appointed time, drive up to the window, provider will go over necessary patient identification questions, double check your registration information, gives you test kits, and supervises your self-administering test process. She instructed us to deposit test tubes in a bin and told us the results will be ready in 1-4 days. You had to establish CVS account online when you received an email. We were so happy our negative results were posted in two days. Airline requires testing done within 72 hours of departure, and obviously 96-hr turn around wouldn't have worked... I think it's an expectation management technique. It all worked out at the end!

I truly appreciate his taking the time to research and not be so quick to just quote a price of $450 for the inhaler. Many other pharmacies would have done that. even Costco did not find the price I received here I highly recommend. very customer focused. I am on Social Security, so this is extremely important to me.

After calling around to 29 places yesterday, the 30th place that I called was The Medicine Shoppe in Boyertown. Ed picked up the phone and he was beyond any level of pure kindness that I can't even think of any words to say. He took a few minutes out of his day to talk to me versus a majority of other places I spoke to who wanted to get me off the phone as quick as possible. Ed is truly pushing and advocating for the Group 1A also known as - the high risk, and elderly. He was so genuine and compassionate that I felt the passion for what he does, did, and will continue to do during our entire few minutes, spent on the phone together. After calling around everywhere yesterday and then hanging up the phone after speaking to Ed. Him and his staff are true superheroes trying to help out their elderly patients. From a granddaughter who is trying to help her grandfather get his vaccine... Thank you Ed and your entire team for what you are doing day in and day out.
