Disappointed- they were understaffed. I waited in line for 35 minutes to pick up an RX. They claimed they did not have it when my doctor had called it in in front of me. Rite Aid Morro Bay- you need more staff. I felt badly for the woman at the front with a line of 10 people staring at her for 35 minutes. I would not recommend- go somewhere else & save yourself waiting in line for 35 minutes when they may not even get your RX right. read more

If it were possible to give no stars. The pharmacy is an organized mess. I have been waiting for the shingles vaccine for months and they keep telling me they are out, but, get some in every once in awhile. They ask if I am on the list, which I have been. I asked them to confirm that as when I asked to be added to "The list" they wrote it down on a scrap of paper. They couldn't find my name because the list was too long to check and suggested that I let them add me again. In 2018 they have no system to track this? read more

do not get your photos developed here. i got a disposable camera done here from my birthday last year that had super sentimental pics on there. the lady gave me my envelope but not with my photos in it! she gave my photos to someone else and they took them home! it took them a week to relocate said pictures. i was pissed that i even had to worry. stupid. read more

I come here quite often. I'm always satisfied with the purchases I make here. They have all my favorite brands for my bath supplies. They have a decent selection of groceries, and alcohol. You can develop film, get your passport photo taken, or send/receive money though Western Union. They tend to have a good seasonal selection as well. read more

I specifically asked *twice* that the photos be removed from the printing queue as we were finally able to get the express printing kiosk to function properly. 6 months later, I was still getting automated phone calls that my pictures were ready to pick up. SMH read more

I have never been to a pharmacy this incompetent. Even though this is an extremely busy store they don't have enough staff. A couple of choice employees add to the joy of waiting in line for an hour to get served, I've been treated disrespectfully by one woman, and had to deal with another employee who does not have the intellect to perform basic job functions and always loses my prescriptions. I am very busy today and I came to pick up a prescription I've had a million times before and because they put in computer as a new drug they won't let me pick it up until the pharmacist returns from lunch. This is just one of many errors, inconveniences, and delays that I've dealt with. Unfortunately, there is no other pharmacy open after work. read more

Bad customer service, had my kids and I waiting for at LEAST 15 minutes by the ice cream counter while they helped other customers, I didn't mind too much because I was not in a hurry. But then we get this rude older lady, which helped me with ice cream for my kids and I, She gave us HALF of scoop (wish I would have taken a picture so you could see the joke of a scoop)and when I told her about it she said that it was fine, that it was just smooshed inside the cone, which it wasn't!. My family and I have been customers in Rite Aid Morro Bay for 20 years + , I am shocked at all the negative things said about the pharmacy and other parts of the store. We have been happy each and every time we have entered the store. I have always had good polite help finding things in the new store, as well as very solid support and advice from the pharmacy. I used to tell students that the teacher is not a computer, a helicopter nor a television set, only a human being -glad to help them anytime and however I could only remember......it takes a moment and patience is a good thing. I was looking for Christmas gift ideas and found a perfect one - a mini herb garden kit. No price sticker on any of the boxes, and no price listed in front of them. I asked a stocker if they had a scanner anywhere and he said (apologetically) that they didn't. This has happened to me frequently, especially with what they 'seasonal items.' I've been waiting for over 3 hours for an inhaler from the pharmacy. Was made to wait in 45 minute line twice and call while in line the second time. Just downloaded Yelp for first time to share that this is seriously the worst pharmacy I've been to in my life. You would be far better at any other location. Service representatives don't seem to care and are wasting time, moving incredibly slowly between each task. Prescriptions are always late on their auto refill system, they don't call the doctor for several days after the expiration. Kim and Janice in the past were great pharmacists, but this guy Ramano is a completely unprofessional prick. I Went from getting slow but good service with Kim to slow but great service with Janice, Ramano shows up and the service goes to shit, he refuses to even help or fill for me and i had done nothing and my prescriptions hadn't changed in any way, he just simply didnt want to fill the medication after several YEARS of picking up the medication from that specific pharmacy previously... Ramano has always been a short worded ass, he never helps with anything, never nice, couldn't smile if his life depended on it, complained about doing his job... if you want TERRIBLE service then this is the place for you... I have all my scripts called into Ralphs in Los Osos and drive all the way from morro bay --- where for the most part I wait only a reasonable few mins for scripts to be filled if they arent already (they usually are) and get good friendly service, pharmacist even talks to you and asks if you know the medication and need any help with it or have any questions ect, ive never gotten this at Rite Aid sense ramano has been the head pharmacist, This pharmacy needs a clean out! Completely! Get those slow tech's out of there, on days with 3+ techs working you still get extremely slow service and dump the head pharmacist, refresh the entire pharmacy with new staff and POSSIBLY you have a chance at redemption but so far EVERYONE i know avoids this pharmacy like the plague, its the worst experience you can get if you get helped ATALL! All I have to say is: FUCK everyone at both Rite Aids in Los Osos and Morro Bay. Everyone who works at both locations obviously half ass's everything, they've never tried to go above and beyond for any of my concerns such as the employee at the San Luis Obispo location. This might be the 4th or 5th time my medication was not ready on time....they've caused 3 seizures due to my epilepsy by messing up their inventory and "transferring it out" NEVER trust rite aid with your meds. read more

I have been a satisfied customer of this Rite Aid for many years. In this day and age, we are quick to complain..and slow to compliment. I decided to let you know how helpful the Manager, Dorie -- and the. assistant Manager Ernie were with an ice cream request! I was on a mission, looking for "Heavenly Mint", or something to that effect. I did recall purchasing there in the past..Well, after researching my request, they discovered the mystery ice cream was called "Mint Truffle". They brought that flavor into their store & will stock it in the future. I am grateful for myself, a disabled stroke survivor who is confined to wheelchair, and also for my neighbor who is ill, and bedridden. To many, it probably seems like "no big deal", but for us...it was! Thanks for going that extra mile~ read more

I just called the pharmacy there. The clerk rattled off her greeting, mumbled something about getting a flu shot, and finally got to the "can I help you?" part. I explained that the pharmacy in Paso Robles didn't have my eye drops in stock. She then checked for me and said, "No. We don't have that either. Sorry, goodbye." I said, "Wait, wait a minute. How long would it get to order some." Reply was that it would get in Monday afternoon and I said I could wait that long. Then I asked if I should call on Monday to see that it had been filled. Clerk said (impatiently), "It will be ready by Monday afternoon!" I think she should have asked me first if I would/could wait while they reordered. She almost hung up before I asked for the reorder, and she was not patient at all when I inquired further about the prescription being filled. Not real impressed so far with this level of service. And, now that I think about it, she should have asked for my phone number in case they had a problem with getting the prescription info from Walmart's in Paso. Not a real happy camper at this point! read more

Zero stars for this pharmacy. Not only do they mess up EVERY SINGLE prescription I've tried to fill there, they just tried to charge me $119 for a medication that costs $18 at Health Plus in San Luis Obispo. When I asked for an explanation, all they said was, "well, this is a retail pharmacy". WHAT does that mean?? "We rip you off" is what it means. Don't go there! ESPECIALLY if you don't have insurance. This should be ZERO stars. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to and I will not ever go back! My doctor called in two prescriptions yesterday. I went in today at 4pm and the clerk handed me one. I asked where the other was and she said she didn't know...."maybe they had to order it." Then she said I had to come back in 30 minutes because she had to re-bill since I had just given her my insurance card. When I came back she handed me the one prescription again. And again I asked where the other one was, and again she said she didn't know. I asked her if she could find out (DUH!!), and she was gone for awhile (WHY didn't she do this while I was gone?). When she came back she told me that this other Rx was no longer available and that the pharmacy would call my doctor tomorrow. WHY didn't they do that when they realized it wasn't available!?? So I asked her which one was I getting and which one was I not getting. I knew one was a creme and one was a cortisone, but I didn't know the names of either because my doctor and I had talked on the phone. I never had anything in writing. She said "It's for dry itchy skin." I said, I know that (that was why I called my doctor), but is the cortisone the one I am getting or the one that isn't available. She said - AGAIN -"It's for dry itchy skin." I said well I guess I will have to look it up on the computer. I will find another pharmacy in Morro Bay or I will drive to SLO. read more
