I've stopped by this Rite Aid a few times as it's on my way to work, and I finally understand why so many shelves are empty. Luckily, they had the medication I was looking for, and I had a nice chat with the checker. They'll be closing in a few months, and this location will be the last of Rite Aid's to close. A lot of merchandise from other Rite Aids will be sent here, so when they do go on clearance, there might be some good deals. Otherwise, I have to give five stars to the end of an era. With all the mergers over the years, I'm not sure if this one was always called Rite Aid. Where I grew up, they were called PayLess Drugs and didn't have Thrifty Ice Cream, which I miss. They did have a rack of square ice cream scoops if you want to pretend you just bought your home-created ice cream cone from Rite Aid. I'll probably stop in a few more times, as it's the only Rite Aid I know of that's still open. If anything, to pay homage to an old brand. read more

After spending $68 last week I got a coupon for $8.00 but they won't let me use it. Supposedly I have to spend another $38.00 to use it. Hahahah funny! It's not my first time at the store and I'm always able to use their coupon. You can have your coupon rite-aid. I'm canceling all our medications and will never spend a penny at your store. As a shipt shopper I come across a lot of good employees and okay employees. Second time I've done a shop in rite aid. First things first thanks to the employee who just pointed where things were and was not able to stop standing in an empty line and help me by showing me. Also the ship app also said to ask for a tax exempt transaction. The employee said " no there never has been a shipt order with tax exempt" I call bs because the first time I went they did it, but I'm thinking things change in 7 months. The guy just seemed that he didn't want to be there or maybe he was new. Seems sharp but a bit lazy. It happened October 31, at 11:25 am. Hope management can help him with anything that's wrong. Overall appreciate him ringing me up fast. And as you guys know I either submit when things were phenomenal or things were horrible. read more

When it comes to chain stores, two factors are very important. They are cleanliness and customer service. There are plenty of Rite Aid locations to choose from when shopping. This specific branch was solid though not above average in the two factors I mentioned. Service was alright, but kind of indifferent. The store was fairly clean both inside and out. Honestly, I would stop in again. Just please keep your ice cream in stock. It was almost wiped out. read more

Why won't this turn into an ice cream store. I am sure thrifty's ice cream cone would compete with the Froyo's and Fruttis and Smoothies of today, in fact many still come to Rite-Aid for thier ice cream. Good idea, maybe, or maybe as bad as the U-turn signal for cars I propose at times which they still have not created. I walked over to the photo area which I had no use for since I own a digital camera and I am carrying a camera phone. I go to a quite makeup aisle and I wonder if all the people who used to flock here are at Sprawl-mart. Then, I take a step in the right direction, towards thier dollar aisle. In this economy a dollar aisle is so ideal, thiers has cookies, coffee, cereal, drinks, incidentals and household items. I also liked thier ice cream section, especially those cones, who doesn't. This store has so much liquor, if you love liquor, ice cream and 99 cent cookies, this is the place. Some of thier toys, shoes, and school supplies seem a bit pricey compared to other places but this place is more convenient, less crowded and the service was good, including the assistant manager who rang up my drinks (non-alcoholic). While some stores who sell many items Rite-aid sells have made Rite-aid thier Target, or put a Wal- up with thier sheer volume this store is still going. I will cheer for you rite aid, but if you fall to the big 2, keep selling that ice cream we have come to love. read more

Love the convenience of text messaging and pre-pay of medication prior to pick up. No long lines to wait in like other pharmacies. Never have I had an employees that was not friendly help me. Been a regular customer since about 2012. The building could use some major repairs, but beyond the cosmetic of the place, service is very fast and easy!!! read more

The people servicing the pharmacy are very full of themselves, the way customers are treated with no respect and a bad attitude, is something that is not appreciated, it is already bad enough to be sick and to be mistreated by the clerks is not acceptable, for sure they are in the wrong business, they will not always going to be young and healthy, and many things can happen in life, so maybe they need to think about that before they continue to be so dismissive with the customers. I will be transferring my rx to a different pharmacy for sure. read more

5 stars for excellent service, 4 stars for pricing, and 3 stars for availability of ice cream flavors. The woman who got the ice cream for my friend and I was very nice and friendly and had a good sense of humor. My friend was disappointed because they were out of cookies and cream ice cream the last 3 times she went, and being a popular flavor, you wouldn't expect it to be out for that long. Either way, the customer service experience was pleasant so it wasn't a big deal. She also told us about a sale on tub ice cream, so we got that, too. Two ice cream cups and two tubs later, we went to pay and the same woman rang us up. We got a coupon for $5 off of $15 and jokingly said we could come back for more ice cream. I also like being able to gain plenti points and occasionally the app has coupons. I have yet to have a poor experience here, so 4 stars is a good average. read more

We drove up to Rite Aid at ten till 10 and saw their sign was off but their door opened. We parked, hurried up to the door as an employee walked out and we asked if they were still open. He said yes, but you've got 5 minutes. We said that we only wanted ice cream and that's when everyone kind of exploded. The guy who was mopping the floor behind the ice cream space actually said "really?" when we asked if we could get ice cream. I mean, I get that you want to go home but guess what? You're still open! So they gave us our ice cream and we paid and got out of there. We were still in the car a few minutes later when they all came out, so I guess our late arrival really didn't mess anything up for them. read more

Usually, one thinks of convenience stores as having fair prices. Not so at this one. Rite-Aid had soda water priced at almost $2 for a small no named bottle and about the same for the known brands. These can be found at a grocery store for around $1. I don't mind when places are still quaint (no modern remodel in 15 years or so) but I do mind when it's disorderly. Visiting this location drove me to go to the Target around the corner based on prices and ease of finding what I needed to buy. read more

I LOVE Thrifty's ice cream & glad that Rite Aid kept it when they took over, this is my neighborhood Rite Aid & I've been coming here for years & I hate to say it but it's one of the worst Rite Aids around. They NEVER have their ice cream in stock EVER & if they do they have it in the back storage, I had to ask TWICE last time for them to check & one employee told me no all they have is what's out there & then the other one came out with a box with the ice cream in there & told me here we have it. WTF?! Holding out on customers? Or just being lazy & not stocking up is sucky all around! & they don't sell the Thrifty's sugar cones either they only sell the waffle cones & the plain cones. LET ME START with these THREE words: RUDE , WEIRD STAFF!!! It's so sad to say that I've genuinely never felt welcome here and constantly watched by the staff members! I am a local and have gone here more than 15-20 times and it's time I left a review because I have been holding it in for such a long time. I had a recent incident with the man of Indian background staff member. First of all he's verrrrry forceful in his demeanor and aggressive but I've never had a particular incident where I let it get to me nor I thought it was of any importance. (It's kind of hard to get me mad actually) but this recent incident I asked for cash back and he responded in an unnecessary raised tone, "NO CASHBACK". I mean it was so loud the customers in line looked at the commotion. I was already feeling particularly unwelcome prior to this due to the constant glares from both the female and him that were working there. I felt mortified so I defended myself and told them that I work in customer service and it seems to me they don't want this job and I suggest they get another job with no human contact since they are incapable of being polite. read more

I've been to this store 3-4 times and sad to say but every time I've had the worst customer service. The man that works behind the register is always so mad and rude!!! Worst thing you can do is ask for ice cream because he rolls his eyes and starts throwing things around making you feel as if he's doing you a favor. I come just about once a week to get ice cream for my kids and I. Every week it's the same nice lady. She's always running the homeless out. She's always so friendly. Tonight a man served me and my kids, he was so rude impatient and trying to rush my 6 year old daughter to make a decision. After we made our decision and I was paying another couple came up behind us, instead of finishing our payment and handing me the receipt, he says go ahead and grab it as he's getting their ice cream. The store was recently remodeled so now it looks very nice and modern. The Pharmacy is great which is the only reason I go. They get five stars. One lady there knows me by name and voice when I call in a prescription or ask if my refills are ready for pick up but I guess that's what happens when I've been going there since I was 18. My only main complaint and one of the reasons I'm thinking of switching pharmacies is the location. I constantly run into pan handlers begging right outside the door. I've had people ask me for money even as I'm getting out of my car when I'm alone at night. It makes me very uncomfortable to the point where I won't go until a weekend morning instead of after work when it's convenient. Overall the store is now very nice, The Pharmacy is excellent, the surrounding stores are all being remodeled, but the beggers are a problem. Yes I am a mystery shopper so I know good service when I see it not to mention I am an extreme couponer so I visit many many stores especially drug stores. There is one person that stands out to me every time I go because I do frequent the store and then evening after I get off work. His name is Joseph doesn't matter how busy things are doesn't matter though I'm an extreme couponer she is always patient he's always helpful, he always asks if I need help finding anything. If something Rings up on the cash register that I thought was clearance and it wasn't he always catches it he tells me I know you still do you know that this one wasn't on clearance I bet you thought it was. What store associate does that they're just so on to the next person. If by chance another customer comes behind me and they always give me that look because I have my shoebox full of coupon then he asked me politely do you mind if I take care of them and will proceed to another register to take them so that I don't disturb how quickly they are. So I would like this sales associate to be recognized for his professionalism he is over and Beyond friendliness helpfulness and overall the best sales associate that I've encountered so far. You have a really great story here and the other associates are wonderful too like I said not too many people really think too highly of his extreme couponers but this store never makes me feel bad about it that's very important to me since I do it to cut corners thank you so much for listening to me. This Rite Aid is alwats clean and organized. It is well staffed. The pharmacy is great, better than CVS, Walgreens and the hospital one I also tried. They have my meds right away. Just today I came in from urgent care. Both ok my kids have strept throat. They close at 10 i show up at 930pm and the Pharmacist not only took my script but asked me to wait so they xan start asap. I went to walgreens before rite aid because it was across the street from the urgent care they were like uh no too late ... aside from this, i buy all me seasonal decor from here, great deals. read more

I went there today to pick up some water bottles. Usually I go there because I want to pick up something fast. I don't really care if it's a dollar higher than other places as long as I can get out of there right away. When I went there this guy was taking care of the ice cream counter. There were three of us waiting on the other side by the regular cashier. Well, as soon as he took care of the ice cream customers he zoomed over to the other side and was running two registers at the same time! He got all of us taken care of in a few minutes. As I left the store I told him that he was good, real fast. I love giving props to people who think outside the box. They are few and far between and should be given the recognition they deserve. This store was really messy! Went to buy some ice cream for my boys and the woman acted really bothered when we asked for assistance. Then when we went to pay she told me that there would be a fee to use it. I told her that it does not state that on the register and said for this one time she would waive the fee. This review is for the Pharmacy only. This pharmacy is closer to home so I switched from Walmart and am so glad. The lady that helped me my first time there is named Fetty. Fortunately the second time I had to pick up a refill she helped me again. She is one of those people who cares about providing excellent customer service. This was a brand new prescription for me. She was thorough in making sure my insurance coverage and all the details of usage were clear to me. And she was kind while doing so. read more

If I could give this pharmacy a ZERO, I would. Every time I come here, my prescription is either not ready, or they don't have it in stock! I have a very common ailment, so them having to order EVERY SINGLE TIME, is not right! They always give me 2 or 3 pills to "hold me over until the order comes in"... Honestly, I'd rather not have to drive to pick up my prescription every other day. The Pharmacist at this location is rude to say the least. I called to ask if my prescription could be refilled...the guy that answered the phone said 10 minutes. When I arrived, the rude pharmacist said it wouldn't be ready for at least an hour. I called 2 hours later and it still wasn't ready. Don't come here! Find somewhere they appreciate you, plus the store has a really weird odor! read more

Poor customer service in the Pharmacy as well. This is the second month in a row they had to special order my pain meds. I understand the first time because I just moved to the area. This time I reordered in plenty of time to get doctor approval (Monday) had to call twice to make sure they sent the request, then they decide on Friday that they need to order the meds. I was out by Friday. Let me say it was a VERY long weekend with no pain meds. I called this morning to check the status and the response was they have no idea what's coming in until they get it. May I just say "Wow". I'm going back to my old store in Whittier Quad even if it is a bit of a drive. read more
