I went to pick up my prescription here. It wasn't busy, but the only pharmacist there was on the phone so I politely waited for about 5 minutes until they were free. When they rung up the meds, I expressed surprise at the price and asked if the insure was applied. Pharmacist said yes, sorry, it doesn't cover much for this medicine. I said, ok, I guess it is what it is, and paid. My wife, who is a nurse, saw the receipt and got really upset, saying that there are coupons and all sorts of ways to save money for the meds. So she called to see if I could return the medicine (unopened, which I still cannot) or if they would price match after the fact. The pharmacist straight up lied to my wife saying that he had told me about coupons and asked me to step aside "because there was a line". I was never told about coupons. I was never asked to step aside. When I left, there was no line, as far as I recall I was the only customer at the pharmacy at all. Avoid this place, it's poorly maintained and an eyesore. I should have figured that would extend to the pharmacy, guess that's on me now. read more

I've been coming here for 5 years and in the past year it's turned into a nightmare experience. If your provider puts in a prescription it will sit on "Received status" for at least 2-3 days. Then say "Oh it'll be ready in 30 minutes". Then to make it all worse if you have multiple meds they will only have 3 out of 4 ready. Tell you that's all and when you realize you're missing one it'll say ready for pick up. The staff is extremely rude these days. Today they even tried handing me somebody else medication. After years of coming here this place has turned into a joke of a pharmacy. Once they delayed my kids antibiotics and I called and they said "No big deal" like getting my child healthy and her medication wasn't a priority. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your Medications. If management is reading this please do better for the health and safety of your patients. read more

I came to get some passport photos and there was two employees at the front register with no customers to ring up, they were just standing there doing nothing. They saw that I was waiting at the photo counter and they didn't bother to call anyone to help. Times are tough, and people are going through difficulties. Life is very different and some people are struggling. That being said, you should expect that your pharmacy should be accurate and professional. You pay for a service. You expect that for the most part, the service should be at least average. This pharmacy has gone downhill in the last year. Please don't send me a text that my script is ready, only to tell me when I've been waiting in the drive-thru for 30 minutes that it actually isn't. Please don't tell me how I should behave in front of other customers, just because you don't care for the fact that I was unhappy and irritated that you didn't have my script ready. Please don't lie to me and tell me that you filled my prescription just to satisfy me, in the 60 seconds it took to pull out of the drive-thru line and park my car to go inside and try to get my prescription. Please don't tell me that your store manager cares about their customers either. Calling the store to tell them that this is not okay was as much a waste of my time as waiting in the drive-thru for 30 minutes for a prescription that they couldn't find. I only called the store manager because the pharmacy tech/clerk was rude and condescending. This is pretty much the last straw. I'm transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. The customer service here is very good. The worker who helped me tonight by drive thru pharmacy went above and beyond in helping me with my prescriptions. He also checked to see if my insurance would pay for a product and it did. CVS never did things like that for me and seemed annoyed that I was there. But not at this Walgreens. Popped in for a last minute workplace baby shower gift . I was glad they were a one-stop shop - got the gift bag, baby goodies and a little something for mommy. Good location, right at the corner of a busy intersection. Pro tip: BEFORE you hit the gas station, there is a nearly secret, unmarked driveway/ entrance that takes you to the rear part of the store. The lady who helped me today was very sweet and gave stellar, full service - from finding the baby bath gift set and suggesting other goodies. She kept a look out for me and was quick to guide me to the cash register. And she even put all the purchases in the gift bag with care. Super bonus: one item was on a product recall status and she let me know that. I really appreciate people who go beyond the usual. I had the worst experience booking an appointment then going through the process at the pharmacy. I arrived 5 minutes early , I went to the counter and asked if I must wait in the long line as I have an appointment at ...They quite bluntly said wait in line. I wait in line . The same lady that knows I'm there for the appointment I checked in for -asked "what can she do for me" after waiting for my turn to speak at the counter when I get through the line. I again state why I am there and that I have a ... appointment. She says ok let me get your paperwork. She returns with a ballet of forms to be filled out . It's now 15 minutes past appointment time. The chairs were all empty /how nice it would have been had she given me the paperwork to fill out instead of standing in the line. They used to have this one girl in there that had the stankest attitude. I'm glad she's gone now. Selection and pricing can be a bit wonky at times. I usually come here to get Red Vines, nail polish, makeup and water. If I limit it to that generally I come out on top. If you stay on top of they flyers/coupons you can get some great deals.
