Pharmacy was awful. I went to get my prescription where I gladly gave my insurance card for the payment. She walked away, came back and asked for my fathers social security number. I am still on his insurance but in all the years I have refilled prescriptions I have NEVER had to give my dads social security number. Not only did she ask for it but after she did she flipped a receipt over and was ready to WRITE MY DADS SOCIAL SECURITY ON THE BACK OF A RECEIPT. Looking for a simple phone charger. Store opened late, and then whilst looking for said charger was confronted with a man named Anthony who yelled out near me "I need to get laid." When I mentioned something to the lady helping me out I was told "oh that's just Anthony" apparently this place has no respect for its customers. I have never had a bad experience at this pharmacy, and I've been going to it since it opened. The clerks are friendly and helpful; I'm usually greeted by name. They have gone the extra mile in getting my refills renewed. Sometimes you do have to wait while the staff is taking care of the drive-in window, but that's usually brief. read more

I thought they were wonderful here, both the pharmacy & the store. I was on vacation & forgot my meds. I called to check on them & my Drs. office had called them in, but insurance wouldn't refill because too soon. The pharmacist called insurance & got everything straightened out & I got my meds. Also, I was staying a resort about 1/2 mile away & I bought a bagful of stuff. I was not going to get an uber for 1/2 mile! I started walking & the manager came out & offered me a ride to the resort! I have used Rite Aid pharmacy for years and they have always been so helpful...in the past. There seems to now be an entirely new crew working there and I guess they think their job stops after they pour pills into bottles. I went there today to have a prescription filled and my doctor wrote right on the face of the prescription to fill with whatever my insurance covers. Which mean, I have options. They filled the prescription with the brand version and it was going to cost me $50 out of pocket. If I hadn't of pushed it and I really had to push her, that's what it would have cost me but in the end, I got a generic version that cost me $0 out of pocket. While I was trying to explain to her that as a consumers that we rely on the pharmacy staff to help us understand our options so we can make the best choices. Her response was to blame the doctor and walk away from me while I was still talking to her. This would have never happened with the old staff. Such a rude disappointment. read more

Came a few minutes ago, looking for a simple nail polish for the girls. Mind you as soon as I approach the isle, a co-worker asked if I was going to pay for them!! I replied with a simple yes, and asked why she gave me such a remark. Her attitude totally changed, I decided to walk away and continued down the other makeup isles. Well she was right behind me the whole time!!! How rude I wasn't going to steal them I yelled which caused some attention to the isle we were on. She walked away and that's that as soon as I turned around to check out the lipsticks they had. I get a sudden voice on the overhead saying camera check on isle 3 I was on isle 3!!!!!!! I'm not quite sure how people get promoted to be manager with such terrible customer service and attitude. Ms. Nicole was extremely upset that a group of friends and I were hanging out while we were getting/eating ice cream. It's fine if it's not allowed you know but Nicole basically told us to get out because it wasn't a hangout spot. I have been using this Rite-Aid pharmacy for app 1 year. I don't think I have even had a prescription filled in the time frame they promised ever. I show up and it always seem like it is gonna be an additional wait. The other day I was at the ice cream counter and the ice cream person was sweeping the floor and picking up trash. She put the lid of the container on the station where the ice cream scoops were. She proceeded to pick up the trash and then She washed he hands for about 10 seconds with NO SOAP. She asked me if I wanted a cone or cup. I told her I wanted her to wash her hands. I asked her to please wash her hands with soap and she told me she was going to use gloves: I explained that the gloves do not take the place of hand hygiene particularly that she is using her dirty hands to put on the gloves. I finally decided to stop coming to this pharmacy and store today and seek a pharmacy and store that is more customer service and oriented. Today my doctor sent my script electronically to this pharmacy at 830. I went in to pick it up 4 hours later and she told me it would be a wait. I asked why it was not ready. She told me they did not open until 10 and that they were busy. No apology. I think 2.5 Hours is a fair amount of time to fill a script but perhaps I'm wrong. At least an apology. Nothing. I asked to have my scripts transferred to the Walgreens and they told me I could ask the Walgreens to call them. Not a problem. She didn't seem phased. And neither am into simply transfer my business both at the pharmacy and the store to the local Walgreens. There are way to many businesses out there that want my business. Why not give it to them. The Rite Aid chain is not one of them, no worries. Glad to say so long! read more

The moment I walked in I was greeted by by the cashier and when I was struggling with finding a particular brand of cough drops the manager Christina saw i was more than a little overwhelmed. RITE AID Why the cashier is sitting down outside in front of the Rite Aid on his phone ? January 18, 2018 11:OO am. Never going back in. I wont be returning here. Really bad feeling 111 S Sunrise way PS, Ca. I ask a female worker "where is your ladies room?"! She says by the vitamins. I go use the restroom first. Next I pick out my items. Today they didn't have the item I was looking for, so after I used the restroom I exit the Rite Aide. Entering my car I look in my rear view mirror and noticed the cashier that was at the first register seconds of leaving was suddenly outside the front door looking at me in my car ! This desert has several employees who will follow you outside of the stores and or see your car, take down your license plate number and or take photos of your car. I have witnessed it with my own two eyes. I have seen it done to other customers as well as me. Well I'm guessing this Rite Aid employee is on strict directions to to do just that. The worst feeling a person can get is when your being watched by an employee and you have done nothing wrong. This type of behavior is not only DANGEROUS it's rude. read more

Very clean and the cashier and check-out were quick and fine. Some good pricing. However, we did not have a very good experience with the Pharmacy. Unfriendly attitude and obviously unhappy that they had to deal with a printout instead of an insurance card. Then indicated that we would have to wait two hours (on a mid-morning working day for not usual medications). We took the prescriptions to Vons Pharmacy at the Rimrock Shopping Mall and had the prescriptions filled with courtesy and within 20 minutes. I guess the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 111 S. Sunrise is too busy and doesn't need the business or at least that is how we were made to file. Even if they were too busy, they could have dealt with us in a more customer friendly way. A surprise, and hopefully an aberration, as I've never had any problems with Rite Aid before. read more

They have gone above & beyond for me on several occasions. Must say considering the amount of volume they do I find them to be very professional. If they could get my automated refill right... The usual pharmacy disaster. 4 girls running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Not that busy but still took 50 mins. to get a flu shot. Tell me it will take that long and I will come back! Finally asked one one of the chickens how much longer and she answered "right now". I guess that means 20 minutes later. Finally after 50 minutes a girl comes out and stabs me in the arm. Needles don't bother me, so for me to say ouch it really had to hurt. The person who helped me get ice cream his name is Paul he is very rude and does not appreciate the customers at all. I wanted to get some rocky road ice cream but they were out so i ask Paul or he had some more he answered very rudely go to the back and get yourself a gallon then when my friend tried to tell him he was rude to me he claimed he did not care and got even worse than before.
