I know a lot of the rite aid stores are getting less appealing and more dilapidated, this one specifically looked like it was going to shut down soon. Lots of empty shelves and even the thrifty section was reduced to one station flavors. I only came for thrifty so will not be reviewing the entire store. There was only one staff working that we saw for the entire store! There were probably more but they were inside stocking and cleaning so we could only get the one staff to help. She sounded stressed out when we asked questions about the ice cream. So far, ice cream selection was very limited. We had to pay at the cashier first and then walk back to get our ice cream, no cones though, only cup. We ordered a single chocolate malted Krunch, I really wanted to like it but to be honest it was so meh. There were frost bites in some of the edges, there is a hint of peppermint in the first bite, and the whole scoop was very watery. Overall, I usually love thrifty ice cream but this is one I don't think I'll come back unless it's the closest option (which it was for us at the time). read more

While I don't usually like to write lower star rating reviews. I'm afraid I had to here. I second all other reviewers who sent a two-star review here. So I randomly decided to shop here but didn't find any sales. Instead, I bought what I didn't need. The only sale worthy of mention was backyard decorations. I got me a couple of those super cute gnomes. I even took some pics down below to show what I got this time. I also tried a different brand of what I thought was an energy type of drink but it tuned out nasty, so I had to dump half the drink away. Well, it said 'Coffee energy,' drink so I thought 'why not give it a shot.' I wasn't gonna do that again though, lessons learned. Always stick to the brands you know. The cashier I came across was mediocre. She was by herself serving the ice cream area and cash wrap, so she was a tad tied up. I had to wait a tad to get to my turn, but when it was finally my turn, the whole experience just turned out meh. I'm not coming back here but will try another Rite Aid if I need anything from this chain in the future. read more

Came here to pick up some ice cream, however the shop is running fans inside on a hot hot day. There is no AC, the shelves are half empty, they are out of stock of half of their items. I thought they were just closing the store but reading the reviews below it seems maybe this is normal for this location. To top it off it feels a bit unsafe, some homeless are setting up in the parking lot in this area. A lady walked out who seemed to be on drugs / talking to herself while heading out. Went here today and literally felt like hell inside. I asked an employee and they said "it's like this every summer". I can't believe a corporation like Rite Aid would let their employees and customers suffer like this. I'm tempted to go back with a thermometer and record a video of how hot it is inside. They're running temporary AC units to keep it within 90 plus degrees inside. I'm not even joking. I'm reporting this to OSHA, no employee should be forced to work like this. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. The pharmacy staff always answer the phone in a timely manner and are always working so hard. The younger male pharmacist Gary is always so sweet and patient. You can tell he cares about his patients and is always helping his own staff too. He is also super knowledgeable and I know I can ask him multiple questions without him trying to rush me. The lady pharmacist is also always so kind and helpful! Like any Dr office or pharmacy we expect to wait and this pharmacy does a good job getting my medication out in a good amount of time. They treat me well here. read more

There's a reason why this location has such low ratings. Especially for the workers at the pharmacy. My family & I had an appt for a drive through PCR test. We arrived at our scheduled time in the drive through window. The lady working the drive through was a nightmare to work with. We gave her our check in code for our appt. She actually had us zoom into our confirmation email so she could see our confirmation code for our appt. Which we gladly obliged. She started typing something on her computer & immediately started blaming us for not any of our information in her system. How is it our fault? She had such a nasty attitude. We explained to her in order for us to get an appt, we had to create an acct w/our name, address, phone number, insurance info etc. We did everything we were suppose to do on our part. She went back n forth saying she didn't have any information on her end. We gave her our all of information again. My husband was very nice and polite and she kept giving him a hard time. Told us to come back another day. She could hear me tell my husband that I wanted to speak to a supervisor & she told him to come back in 20 mins. So we left the drive through & parked our car. About 15mins later, she called back & said my daughter can get the PCR test & we can't cause she couldn't get our info. By this time I was pretty upset! I told my husband to put her on speaker & I told her wanted to speak to a supervisor. She could tell I was livid! She then rudely said " Fine" and put us on hold. I knew she wasn't going to get a supervisor. We were on hold for a while. I decided to call with my phone while my husband was still on hold oh his. Sure enough, I was able to get a supervisor right away. I explained everything to him. He put me in a quick hold and all of a sudden everything was fxed and we could go back to the drive through to get our test. It was obvious the lady at the drive through did not want to help us. Most likley too lazy to enter our information into her computer. Sometimes it takes a few tries. She obviously did not want to do it. Don't take it out on us. Her attitude was what really upset me. Very rude & unprofessional. This is not how you treat people. This caused unnecessary stress for and shouldn't have happened. read more

Was buying ice cream at rite aid the store clerk was super busy there was a line and I see the manager minding her business in the back. Seems toxic af like come help your coworker there are many ppl. Finally she comes out and then while I'm being ringed up an old lady comes in and asks where the lemon juice is for cocktails. No joke these two employees, including the manager are both clueless bouncing questions off eachother and no one wanted to help I was like are y'all for real rn. So I said ok let me help you find it and left the checkout to find the lemon juice for her and we found it. I was picking up medicine here for myself. I asked the pharmacist how to take my medicine and his response was "I don't know" straight to my face and laughed. 1. How the hell are you going to have a pharmacist at the pharmacy and he doesn't know how to take the medicine he's giving out? 2. If i can give negative marks to this location to the pharmacy area I would. Just looked at the reviews and they have too many negative reviews and I can't believe management is ignorant to this. I've had the worst experiences here for the last year or so. No procedures in place, FAIL to provide advise on medication, when you ask for it they are rude about it, and to top it all off, they push the button "decline advise for medication" for you without asking if you want to be advised about medication.l because they are either lazy or don't care about their profession and the people they are providing services for. I believe the staff were Jenny Tran, Eyi and Soo Choo. This is the exact reason where the misuse and miss information of prescription drugs begin. Pharmacist being irresponsible and careless of their profession. Hopefully the right set of eyes see this and do something about it before it's too late. I've been coming here for years. I mean, it's a pretty decent store that gives you almost everything you need (for a really pricey cost). The place is clean for the most part. Pharmacy is located in the back corner to the right side of the store. This rite aid also sells thrift ice cream in the front side! Which I think is very cute, if you're also looking to bring some home, they sell their ice cream located in the back of the store. Since Johnny the manager left, the staff is awful. The main pharmacist left just before Johnny did. The drive up window is used as a torture device" you bake in the heat or freeze in the cold" you can not run your engine that long sitting still. What will they do when all electric cars start dying in the line for the window. On most days you are in line in the window for 20-30 minutes. Since Covid it has just gotten worse, the staff do not care about the customers at all. The store is clean most of the time, do not use the restroom for your safety. read more

But it's so ridiculous when you receive text saying your medication is ready but then they had me waiting for 20mins not knowing where my medication is. Went to pick it up today and was given the wrong prescription (I do take this one but didn't request a refill). Didn't notice until I got home. NEVER COME TO THIS PHARMACY. The pharmacy is so terrible that I created a separate business page for it so that its reviews would not be averaged out by the reviews about the drugstore as a whole. That being said, indirect you to the Rite Aid page for further reviews on the pharmacy. I have an appointment with my allergy doctor on a Friday. He electronically sends my prescription to this Rite Aid Pharmacy, assuring me that it would be ready by the time I got there. I decided to pick up my prescription on Saturday. The pharmacist asks to see my insurance card, punches the number into her computer, and concluded that my insurance is invalid. Being covered under my father's work's insurance plan, I find this surprising as he is a full-time accountant. I call the customer service number on my insurance card, and after wasting 5 minutes they affirm that my insurance plan is and has been active since 2006. I inform the pharmacist, and she says that she'll call my insurance company herself, ad that it'll take 30 minutes, so I leave her my phone number and go out for a drink. An hour later, I'm sick of waiting, so I go home. Another full hour later, the pharmacy calls me and says they got the insurance worked out, but they need to order one of the items and it won't be ready until Monday. I arrive on Monday, and the item they ordered was ready, but they lost the prescription for my other medications, and long story short they had to sit me down for 45 minutes while they prepared the rest of my prescription. I REPEAT, NEVER COME TO THIS PHARMACY. read more

I go to this Rite Aid a lot. So much that I somehow racked up enough points to be a Gold Tier member. This location might not seem as fancy as others, but they have everything I need. They have a much bigger chocolate section than other Rite Aids. You can score some super cheap seasonal boxed chocolates during sales (can't wait for post-valentines sale!). Plus they always seem to have my favorite packaged ice cream flavor, cotton candy. I always see the same 3 workers here: the older white gentleman in glasses, the asian girl, and the asian dude. I just encountered the most ignorant woman ever in customer service. Maria was her name. An older asian man came in the store and waited patiently in line until it was his turn. Once he reached the counter, he quietly pointed to cigarettes he wanted. Maria then stood there and stared at him as if he was stupid. Then when she finally handed the cigarettes over to him, she asked for his I.D., which he could not understand. So she yelled it about 5 times .... As if he would understand her the louder she got! She then followed by yelling :Chinese or Korean??!?!!" I finally decided to step in and assist the man even though I did not understand. He ultimately did not have his I.D. so he could not make his purchase but did he have to be yelled at and embarrassed throughout the store? Not too many of us would be able to say that they know someone who doesn't appreciate Thrifty ice cream because at the very least, it'd be okay in relation to its price but never bad or horrible or omfg-what-is-this-monstrosisty. But we came dangerously close. Now I'm not sure about other locations, but this Rite Aid needs to better upkeep its stash. My coworkers and I came in expecting a yummy dessert after our lunch, but instead we received old ice cream at regular price served with a side of attitude. We understand you're busy (not really) and we understand that it's a hassle that we all want our ice creams on separate tabs, but the lady who assisted us refused to give my coworker a new scoop of ice cream after he noticed something funky underneath the ice cream. She seemed rather irritated by him even asking, not that she seemed like she was in a good mood to begin with (though it wouldn't kill her to at least crack a smile and say hi). The employees were all very nice :) My review is strictly for the ladies restroom. My 5 year old was having a potty emergency, and we were thankful that the staff allowed us to use their restroom. Upon entering and turning on the lights tons of little roaches went scurrying everywhere. It was terrifying for my child! But she really needed to go. So we entered a stall. No seat covers. Went to the other stall. No seat covers. There was no time to make one out of toilet paper. She had to go. So she sat of a filthy toilet seat. It was disgusting!!! This Rite aid pharmacy is not doing good job. Every time Rite aid called at my home and left message "Hello, I'm calling you to let you know that your RX is ready to pick up, Thank you." When I got this message and did not leave who is this RX for?. I had to call back and find out who is RX for? I told them next time put a name of person so we know who is for.
