Wow! This is the cleanest and most pleasant Rite Aid I have ever visited. It was immaculate when I was there, from the aisles to the restroom. And the lighting in the store wasn't harsh and garish like most drug stores. No -- the lighting in this Rite Aid was mellow and relaxing, which sounds like a weird detail to mention, but I'm super sensitive to the light that stores choose to use, and the light in this store put me at ease! I visited this Rite Aid because I was feeling a bit peaked, and I needed something to tame the sore throat I was beginning to feel. I got some Vitamin C tablets, which they had in abundance. I chose the generic version, and they were very tasty. I think they worked really well, because although I ended up getting a full-blown cold, my cold felt minor while I was taking the Vitamin C tablets. So, thank you, Rite Aid, for helping me during my time of need. And FYI: This Rite Aid has a Thrifty Ice Cream shop inside of it! What a blast from the past. No one ever answers the phones here. In fact they hang them up if you call more than once. I've experienced extremely rude pharmacists, no wonder they are all shutting down. Horrible customer service. If they hate their jobs so much they should have picked a different career path. This isn't my first bad experience. The last time I was here after eye surgery a curly haired pharmacist was disgustingly rude. They need to re-evaluate their pharm techs. Worst rite aid I've ever been to. Tried out drive thru to get my medication, they said it'll be 30 mins. Instead of having me wait there at the window, they told me to go back inside. Once the 30 mins are up I go inside, for them to take 15 minutes to attend me at the pick up line. Then another 10 for the pharmacist to read what it says on the medicine box. This review is not for the pharmacy. Long ago it was Thrifty Drug store that had the ice cream. As merges go Thrifty became Rite Aid and retained the ice cream counter. Today we stopped in for some incidentals but knowing they have ice cream! We just came off a three mile hike and needed a refreshing cool down. We ordered our ice cream cones and the associate suggested putting them upside in a cup due to being messy. We went with that and were glad we did. The store looked to be pretty new. This is a review of Pharmacy! If I could give a zero I would. Avoid this pharmacy and save yourself from the unorganization and lack of professionalism. pharmacy is always out of medication. The employees are unpleasant and very rude. on top of that recently, the pharmacist ( ASH) gave me an opened bottle of medication. I didn't realize it until I got it home and realized it was already open and the silver sealed was off. I only had 20 pills in there. I called right away and they told me they would give me the other 10 to pick up. When I went to pick up, they only gave me 8. When I told them it was 10 missing they said they counted their inventory and it should be eight missing so that's what they would give me. Really they made the mistake the first time of giving me a tampered bottle of medication which they wouldn't take back and now I'm short 2 pills of medication that I am not supposed to miss a day of. Karen who I spoke to on the phone and I told her I only had twenty, did not speak up. The new manager Ash is so rude and is definitely not a person who should be working with public. He proudly said " I'm the new manager and this is how I'm running things" . I paid for 30 pills ( they aren't inexpensive either) . I will be calling the custom service center and changing my prescriptions elsewhere. I've been wanting to change but haven't. I don't want my medication and health jeopardized because of the incompetence at the Rite Aid pharmacy on Clinton Keith. Anywhere else is most likely better!! read more

I have been coming to this Rite Aid location, on Clinton Keith, in Wildomar, for 20 + years. While there may be other pharmacies that are better inventoried, with, perhaps, a bit more of a sense of urgency, I have done my best to support those working in this community. Today, I am disappointed and won't return. Sadly, and unfortunately for Rite Aid in their current financial situation, I'm taking my business elsewhere. In particular, I take issue with one of the pharmacists. She's been there for a while. She's curt, always seems bothered, and is very matter of fact. A week and a half ago, I called my doctor to have my prescription refilled. When I went in last Sunday to pick it up, I was told they, Rite Aid, were waiting for the doctor's call. Mind you, my doctor and his staff are always on top of things. Again, I called my doctor on Friday the 26th. They immediately phoned the pharmacy. When I went in this morning to pick up my prescription, I was told it was picked up at another location. When I responded that I didn't, the pharmacist insisted I did. I said; no, I didn't. She then proceeded to tell me that the doctor had called but, again, it was picked up elsewhere. Why in the hell would my doctor call that location, at my request, and I pick it up elsewhere? This is the -only- pharmacy I've patronized since 1999. So, here's the deal Rite Aid, you need to really give yourselves a serious review. I won't be back. No longer am I willing to pay higher prices for 'convenience' items at your store. Yes, you are close, geographically, but I will go one freeway off-ramp further south for better service and prices. This was the 2nd time my wife or I had a problem w prescriptions at this location. The problem both times stemmed from the Doctors who wrote the prescription. So - we had to wait over 2 hours before we came back. Then when we came back they told us the prescription had been cancelled because the doctor prescribing had left the wrong phone # to verify and my wife was not a valid patient at that office. Basically there is quite an array of goofy doctors in our area that are very unprofessional. But after calling the doctors office and getting it straightened out they said it should take another 10 minuites to verify then the drugs should be ready for pick up - the pharmacist told us - nope - process starts all over - you go to the bottom of the list. I said he had no heart - my wife was in pain. They told us we would wait another hour minimum. We went home. Right after we got there for the 3rd time and parked in the garage - they texted that it was ready for pick up. We got there and a 2nd Pharmacist said he hurried it up for us. I was frustrated and said - " It would have been a lot better if they just had us wait instead of telling us to leave for another hour." He was extremely bitter and ripped me up one side and down the other. And instead of taking a bad situation and making it end well he was in fact as awful as the 1st pharmacist, possibly worse. These pharmacists make over $ 100,000 / Year and with all the Drug information specifics need to be taught the minimal level of empathy and Customer Service. I don't know if the final pharmacist had a bad day or had profiled us and just had hate for us but he did his worst to make an already bad situation any better. The problems all started with doctors incorrect info. So - it wasn't the Rite Aid Pharmacies fault -We had recognised and acknowledged that fact - but it was also not our fault. We left their facility with our drugs even know the pharmacist threatened to cancel the order and make us go to another pharmacy. This was a very trying day for me - several hours at a dentist for my wife to have a tooth pulled then 3 trips to the pharmacy - and we (wife and I ) paid our $800 at the dentist and visited the pharmacy 3 times with a good attitude that slowly went unhappy as we were just trying to get my wife her prescriptions so she could get some relief. My reason for this review was not to further piss off the pharmacists but to let them understand that just a little kindness would have gone very well. And the final pharmacist if he just could have bit his nasty tongue and said - "well we tried our best." Arguing with me and attempting to belittle me to a crappy situation and left it that way - when infact he could have taken the high road less traveled and become the hero of the day and we would have left with a lot less angst for these very highly paid professionals. Firstly, it shouldn't take over an hour to fill a prescription. I leave it to pick back up, and then see that the website says pharmacy closes from 12-2 for lunch. Get here at 2:10 and am told pharmacist left late for lunch and it will be another 30 minutes. While I now wait for the late pharmacist , I listen as 1,2,3 cars drive up to pick up meds, and as they are new, they have to come back for the pharmacist. Unacceptable. People are sick. They are relying on you to access the meds they need. Being 30 minutes "closed" passed the stated time and listening to all of those inconvenienced besides me, needs to be called out. If you can't provide efficient service for sick people, do not trap us into waiting here. read more

I have mixed feelings about this rite aid. It is my local pharmacy. I stop here quite often for ice cream scoops for my boys after school. I also come here when I need something from the pharmacy area or to pick up medications. The store is very well stocked, the employees are very nice. The ice cream as we all know is the best. You don't usually have to wait too long to pay. So no complaints here. The pharmacy, the wait can be very, very long depending on what time you come in. Once in a while you might wait 5-10 minutes to pick up, but most of the time it isn't fast. I had a medication prescription that I needed to pick up and start taking on last Thursday. I went in to pick it up... I stood in the store behind 2 people for 10 minutes and the line didn't move. So my son and I got out of line picked up some ice cream and went to the drive thru pick up window. There were 3 cars in front of me... 22 minutes later I am still in line behind the same cars. We ended up leaving because I had to pick up my oldest from school. I came back right after picking him up, the car that was in front of me was now at the window (finally) but now there was 2 cars behind him. I left, didn't start the medication when I was supposed to. I stopped with my husband the next day, we waited at the drive thru for 18 minutes (2 cars before us), but I did get my medication. This is not the first time that I have had to wait a long time and then come back at another time again to try and pick up (I've done this at least 3 times). The pharmacy technicians are very nice, they always do apologize for the wait. They are all very sweet, I think that they just don't have enough employees for the pharmacy demand in this location. read more

Horrible experience with this pharmacy. It is almost impossible to get them on the phone. I have medications that I need to fill each month, they never have stock and don't order until repeat calls, often I have to drive over since they don't answer the phone to ask them to order the medication, and then wait 3+ business days for it to arrive. They are not able to tell you if the medication will be in stock or not. I have spent many hours on the phone and on hold trying to get my medication filled. If you are looking for an easy pharmacy experience, and to have your medication filled on time, please look elsewhere! After using them for a few months, I am switching. The longer business hours and drive through do not make up for all the trouble filling medication and difficulty getting in contact with them! read more

The worst pharmacy EVER. My meds were called in by my Dr. a simple medication. This pharmacist took it upon herself to red flag my meds because my home address is Corona? There ARE NO LAWS PROTECTING PATIENTS FROM THESE OVERZEALOUS PHARMACISTS FEARING THE DEA regarding any scheduled medication. It's a medication that has horrible side effects if suddenly stopped. The 4th time I called she picked up and just transferred me to the pharmacist without saying "Hello or please hold the pharmacist will be with you?!" Unprofessional. Finally the pharmacist answers said she was filling it at that moment and I asked why the other pharmacist didn't fill it last night she said something vague about my address?! She also lied because when my husband went to pick it up an hour later.... it wasn't ready and the two women working there were extremely rude to him. WHY DO THESE PEOPLE WORK WITH THE PUBLIC...IF THEY ARE SO MISERABLE GET ANOTHER JOB! Rite aide hire professionals who like what they do!
